A/N: As I was re-reading my work, I couldn't help but not feel proud of this particular story. I was unhappy with it and wanted to re-do it. So I did, I deleted the original and began writing this one, but as I was writing I couldn't think of anything, my mind was drawing a blank.

By the time I finished it I still wasn't happy with it, but I wanted to give you guys something to read because I haven't been able to give you guys weekly updates anymore. So I'm sorry if it's rushed, and I'm sorry that I've been gone for a while.
I'll try to think of new ideas ASAP.

3rd person pov

It's been years since 3-E had last seen Nagisa. The last time they ever saw him was the day they all turned against him.

A week before the whole incident happened the Reaper was able to find them.
They were all shocked that he was alive. They thought that he had perished along side with Korosenei.
However, to their surprise he didn't fight them, he instead gave them information on their teacher.
He told them that Korosenei was still alive. That they had both managed to survive.

But the information given to them caused mixed emotions.
Yes they loved their teacher, but they just wanted to move on and forget.

Nagisa was the only one who wanted to save him and that was what caused the fight.

"Forget about him Nagisa!" Terasaka yelled
"I can't forget about him! He's the only one who ever had faith in me! In us!"
"He's dead!"
"No he's not! The Reaper just told us he's alive!"
"He's obviously lying!" Maehara joined in
"Yeah, he's the reason why Korosensei died in the first place" Kayano joined in
"....I believe him" he whispered
After hearing Nagisa say those words Terasaka pushed him away which caused him to fall down
"Do you have any idea on what you just said?!"
"I believe that he's seen his ways and wants to save his teacher"
"He's dead Nagisa" Isogai said
"No he's not...I want to save Korosenei!"
"Get away from us. We don't want someone who is willing to side with the enemy" Rio glared
Nagisa looked horrified
He thought that his friends would be more than willing to join him in saving their teacher.
But they were all turning against him.
"Karma?" He turned to face his boyfriend who was silent throughout the whole argument
"....sorry Nagisa, but you need to move on" he said before walking off
"Karma?!"
The whole class began following after him, abandoning Nagisa.

Karma pov
It's been 5 years since I've last seen Nagisa.
He never came back after the whole incident.
I don't blame him for hating us, we were all awful to him.
....And I walked away from him.

I had gotten up a bit early that it was still a bit dark out so I just decided that I should get ready and head to my company.
Being the CEO I was always busy, but I didn't mind.
If I was busy I wouldnt have time to think about Nagisa.

As I walked out the house I couldn't help but feel that there was someone behind me.
I turned around but saw no one.
"...."
'Was it my imagination?'
The minute I turned back around I was met with someone I knew all too well.
"Nagisa!?"
"It's been a while Karma" he smiled
So many thoughts were going through my head.
Was Nagisa really infornt of me?
Was I seeing things?
This can't be real
Did he finally come back?

Before I knew it I felt a sharp pain in my neck and I started feeling light headed.
"Sorry Karma"
"You-" I fell to my knees weakly and looked up at Nagisa
"Goodnight love" was the last thing I heard him say before I drifted off into darkness

After who knows how long I started gaining consciousness.
"Urgh"
"You awake yet?"
"!!!"
I looked up after hearing his voice
"Nagisa"
I remained silent after seeing that he had a gun pointed at me.
As we sat in silence I couldn't help but notice that he had his hair down and he had nothing else but some gray sweatpants.

I took a deep breath and made direct eye contact with him
"You know I kinda expected our reunion to end up a little differently"
"I see you're still the same" he smiled back
"Then why not untie me if you know I'm not going to do anything?"
"I'd rather not take a risk"
"..."
"..."
Silence filled the room until I spoke
".....How have you been?" I asked
"You tell me, you guys are the ones who abandoned me and left me to search for the answer on my own"
"Where you right?" I asked referring to Korosenei
"....we have him"
"So you chose to side with the Reaper"
"Yeah, unlike you guys he helped me"
"Nagisa he's clearly planning something"
"No he's not. He wanted to do the right thing and save his teacher"
"So what? Are we the enemy now?"
Just then Nagisa stood up, putting his gun down and walking towards me
"...."
He bent down towards my ear and whispered
"No, I'm their enemy"
Just then the door opened to reveal the Reaper.
"I should get going, your friends should be coming to save you any minute now"
"I'm surprised Nagisa" I spoke out before he had the chance to walk out the door
"...."
"I never thought you'd sink this low"
"Sorry to disappoint you" Nagisa said, not bothering to turn around
"Besides, it's not my fault I turned into the bad guy"
"....."
Just as Nagisa was about to open the door
"I know you're mad....."
He froze
"But they're your friends. Are you really going to go through with it?"
"...They stopped being my friends long ago."
"What about us? If I recall we never broke up"
"...."
"Lets go Nagisa, Korosenei is waiting" the Reaper spoke out.
And with that he walked out, leaving me alone in the dark room.

Nagisa pov
After putting on a white t-shirt the reaper took me to the lab room to check on Korosenei's condition.
The minute we stepped in the room I was the first to walk up to the bed.
There lay, not an octopus or a monster, but a man with black hair.
It was Korosenei, but human.

I took a seat next to the bed and looked up at the Reaper who had the computer, monitoring his heart rate and vitals
"How's he doing?" I asked
"He's fine, but I don't know why he isn't waking up"
"Did our project fail?"
"Impossible, we did everything right...unless"
"Unless?" I repeated
"....He really is dead"
"No!" I screamed, getting out of my chair and kicking it away
"He is not dead! We're just not trying hard enough!"
"We could ask Smog, maybe he has something that could help"
I stood up after hearing a possible solution
"I'll go contact him"
Just as I was at the door and typing in the code to exit I froze before getting to type in the last digit.
"What's wrong?"
"They're here" I responded, clenching my fist
"You sure"
"I'm going to check on Karma, you stay with Korosenei"
Before I was able to walk out
"You still have feelings for him, don't you..."
I stopped dead in my tracks
"That's why you don't want them reaching him first, because they'll take him" he continued
"...just focus on Korosensie" I told him before leaving

The minute I got to the room Karma was at I quickly opened the door
"What took you so long?" He asked, rubbing his wrists
He had managed to untie himself, not that I was surprised
"When did you untie yourself?"
"The minute you walked out"
"!!!"
I was shocked at his response
"You were free that whole time!? Why didn't you just escape!?"
"I'm not going to leave you a second time" he smirked
"I'm the enemy though-"
"But you were right weren't you....You have Korosenei and want to save him"
"Why are you suddenly so understanding?" I glared, remembering what he was telling me a few hours ago
"When you're alone in a dark room you can't help but reevaluate your life choices"
"...."
Before I knew it Karma was standing right infront of me
"You just want to bring our teacher back, and the Reaper just wants to repent for his past mistakes" he said caressing my cheek
"....they're here"
"That was fast" he chuckled
"This is your last chance" I told him, but he only grabbed my hand in response
"Lets save Korosenei"
I couldn't help but feel my lips curl up after hearing him say that.

We had made it back to the lab where the Reaper was at.
"Who's side are you on?" He asked Karma
"I understand why you want to save him so I'll offer my help"
"....your friends have already surrounded this building so I need you and Nagsia to go and gather them all so Smog could come in and check on Korosenei"
"Ok" I agreed
"No I'll go alone"
"Karma?"
"Right now you're their enemy I don't-"
Before he could finish his sentence I placed my lips on top of his
"....."
"....."
After a few seconds I moved away from him
"Lets go"
He gave a light nod and we both left the lab, ready to meet our old classmates

We were both walking the building in the dark, in complete silence waiting for 3-E to come out of hiding.

When we took a turn I felt someone run up behind us.
Just as I was about to attack Karma jumped infornt of me and Tossed them on the ground
"K-karma!?" They yelled out surprised
"Hi Maehara" I smiled
"Nagisa...." he replied
"Why not come out! I know you're all here!" I yelled out

In a few seconds everyone came out of their spot and gathered around me and Karma.
"Why are you doing this Nagisa!?" Kayano yelled
"I'm saving our teacher. What's so wrong about that?"
"Why can't you just accept that he's gone! You even had to go and kidnap Karma!?" Okuda cried
"...."
"We were wrong!" Karma spoke
"Karma?"
Everyone looked at him in shock
"W-What are you saying Karma?" Kanzaki questioned
"Nagisa was right. It's possible to save our teacher"
"Did you seriously side with the enemy?" Terasaka glared
"He's not the enemy, nor is the Reaper. They just want to bring someone they care about back"
"...."
As the class was looking at each other in confusion I couldn't help but notice that there was one person missing.
"!!!"
Rio!
I quickly began running back to the lab
"Nagisa!?" Karma yelled and began running after me

Once we got there I was shocked to see Smog on the floor in a pile of blood.
"No..." I whispered
As I walked deeper into the lab I saw another pile of blood
"Reaper!" I ran over to him to see if he was still alive
"N-Nagi-sa"
"Was it Rio!?"
"Sh-she killed Smog be-be-before he could give him the pot-tion"
"....so it's impossible now"
As I hung my head low I saw him pull out a small bottle of purple liquid
"Gi-give this to him"
"Is this!?-"
"This is all he ne-eds to wa-wake up"
"...."
"I just wa-wanted him to be pr-pr-oud of me...to ack-ack-nowledge me, just on-once"
"He was, and he will"
"...." he smiled before closing his eyes and going limp in my arms
"Thank you reaper"
"....Nagisa?" I heard Karma
I stood up and wiped the tear from my eye
"We just need to give him this, hopefully it'll work"
I quickly made my way to the little room Korosensei was at and poured the potion in his mouth.
As I was standing over the bed Karma walked over to me and pulled me to his chest
"You worked hard"
"...Karma"
"What?"
I slowly moved away from him and looked him in the eye
"I don't know what to do"
"????" He tilted his head in confusion
"These past few years I've been living because I had a goal I wanted to fulfil, but I don't know what to do anymore"
"...we can figure that out together"
I smiled in response and just as I was about to hug him I saw Rio pushing the door closed.
"!!!"
She was hiding behind the door the whole time!?

It was as if everything was playing in slow motion.
I saw her pull out a gun and aim it at Karma
"Now you're betraying us!!"
Karma was about to turn around but I quickly pushed him out of the way
Bang! Bang!

Karma pov
I watched in horror as Nagisa was bleeding out infront of me
"Nagisa!?"
I quickly ran over to him and pulled him in my arms
"You idiot! Why'd you do that!"
He only gave a small chuckle
"I'm pretty su-re yo-you would have do-done the same"
"...."
As I saw more and more blood come out I felt my eyes water
"Don't you dare die Nagisa! We were finally going to live together!"
"Sor-ry Karma, but I don't th-think that's poss-bible anymore"
"What about Korosenei!? He still needs to wake up!"
"Gue-ss I won't see him again"
"Don't say that!"
"I lo-love you Karma"
Hearing those words I quickly brought him closer to me and kissed his lips, not wanting to let go
"I love you to"
He only smiled at me before shutting his eyes and resting his head on my chest
"RAGHH!!!"

3rd person pov
The second Nagisa died Korosenei slowly opened his eyes.
"....."
He lifted his arm up and saw that his tenticales was replaced with a human arm.
He looked at the other and began touching his face.
"......"
He was human again.
A smile appeared on his face knowing that he was finally back to normal.
He couldn't wait to see his students.
