3rd Person POV
After a long night of continuous studying Nagisa woke up in a jolt after having a dream about a certain person.
"...."
When he looked over at the clock his eyes widened
"!!!!"
He was going to be late
He quickly got up and got dressed before heading out the door

Luckily for him he wasn't late, the bell still hasn't rung.
But just as he was about to slide open the door someone's hand lay on top of his
"???"
He turned his head and saw Karma
"!!!"
Both their eyes widened and Karma quickly removed his hand
"S-sorry" he apologized
"I-It's ok" Nagisa looked down in embarrassment
"...."
"...."
Silence

Ever since the break up neither have talked, they were almost like strangers to each other.

Flashback
It all happened about 1 month ago.
Nagisa went over to Karma's house, but he wasn't there so he waited outside on the doorstep, waiting for him to arrive so they could finish their project.

After an hour of waiting he saw Karma walking over
"Where were-" Nagisa stopped in the middle of his sentence
Karma reaked of alcohol
"Did you drink!?" He yelled
"Of course not" Karma answered, opening the door
"...."
Wanting to get the answer out of him he followed Karma inside
"Dont lie to me Karma! I can smell the alcohol!"
"I didn't" he replied going inside his room and throwing himself on his bed, quickly falling asleep
"....." Nagisa was silent as he stood by the door, noticeably angry
He was angry that Karma not only drank but denied it.

Another month passed by and Karma told Nagisa that his father would be coming back to Japan for visit.
After hearing Karma say that Nagisa was feeling nervous but excited at the same time.
Was Karma finally going to tell his dad about their relationship.
After 2 years of dating, they were finally taking a big step forward.

The day came and all three of them sat at a fancy dinner table.
Karma and Nagisa sat side by side while his father was on the other side of the table

"Are you two going out?" He asked after taking a bite from his food
Nagisa adjusted himself before speaking
"Ye-"
"He's my best friend" Karma interrupted
"!!!" Nagisa seemed taken aback after hearing his boyfriend say they were just friends
"That's good, I don't want the companies image to go down because my son is gay"
"Karma?" Nagisa looked over at him in confusion
"Oh? Did you not tell your friend?" His dad spoke
Nagisa shook his head
"Once karma graduates high school he will be inheriting my company"
"!!!"

"Why are you so mad!?" Karma yelled
The dinner was over and they both went back to Karma's house
"Why did you not tell me you were going to inherit the company?!"
"I was I-"
"Really!? I don't remember you telling me! It was your dad!"
"....."
"And why didn't you tell him about us! About us going out! Were you afraid that he would take it all away if he found out his son was gay!"
"....."
"I though we were at the point in our relationship where we trusted each other and would support each other! I guess now I see what is more important to you!"
"I thought you'd be happy for me!?"
"How can I be happy for you when you didn't even admit to your father that we're going out!"
"You just need to wait!"
"I have been waiting! For 2 years! It's you who's stopping our relationship from going any further!"
"Well maybe I'd be better off if I didn't have you as my boyfriend!"
"!!!!"
"!!!!"
Karma's eyes widened after realizing what he said
Nagisa was surprised, but it later turned into disappointment
"Nagisa I-"
"Karma I think we...we should break up"
"What!? No!"
"you've changed Karma"
"....."
"It's as if you care more about the company than us"
"That's-"
"You pushed me aside, you started keeping secrets from me."
"I-I'm sorry"
"....I love you Karma, but I can't live like this..."
Not wanting to lose Nagisa he quickly grabbed his wrist, making him face him.
"I cant loose you" his voice shaking
"Goodbye Karma" he pulled his hand away from his grip and walked out

After that the two didn't speak
They became strangers....
Flashback end

The two continued to stand in silence until
"How long are you guys going to block the door?"
They both turned around at the sudden voice and saw Rio
"Sorry" Nagisa apologized and without hesitation walked inside the classroom, not bothering to look back at Karma
"....." Karma was just left speechless as Rio stared at him
"You ok?" She asked
"Yeah" he replied and entered
"....." Rio just smirked before following after him

During class when Bitch sensei was teaching them english phrases, Okuda noticed Karma glancing up at Nagisa who was taking notes

In their next class, self study, Kayano moved her desk next to Nagisa's, but as  they were working together she couldn't help but notice him quickly take a glance back at Karma who was sleeping with his head down.
"Nagisa?"
"Huh?!" He turned to face her
"...you still love him don't you?"
"....let's just focus on our work" he pushed her question aside

When lunch came by Okuda and Kayano met up behind the school
"They still love each other" Kayano spoke first
"But what can we do?" Okuda asked
"....."
Kayano was silent at first, crossing both her hands to think of a way to bring back both her friends.
"I'm sure I'll be able to talk to Nagisa, the only problem is Karma, he's not very open about his feelings"
"I'll try talking to him, you focus on Nagisa" Okuda smiled
"Ok"
Kayano agreed and went back inside to talk to Nagisa, he was most likely with Isogai, Maehara, and Rio.

As for Okuda she walked further up the hill to where the cliff was at, the spot Karma usually hung out

Just as Okuda predicted there was Karma, sitting at the edge looking at his phone.
"????"
As she neared closer she saw what he was looking at
Pictures of him and Nagisa
"....."
He was so focused looking at the pictures he hadn't noticed her behind him
"Karma?"
"!?!?!" He quickly turned his phone off and looked behind him
"What do you want?" He asked coldly
"I came to talk to you...about Nagisa"
"I don't need to talk about my feelings,  I'm fine" he said before standing up, about to leave
"You can stop pretending" she spoke louder stopping Karma in his tracks
"????"
"I know everytime you come here, you think about him"
"....."
"Listen Karma ever since we were kids I've seen you as the type of person who listens to no one"
"...."
"You always did what you wanted to do"
"Your point?"
"Are you really going to listen to your dad?"
"....."
"The Karma I know would fight to get what he wants, Nagisa and the company"
"I don't know if you know, but a homo can't run a company"
"Who said? The world? Japan? Your dad? Or you?"
"....."
"So you're really quitting?"
"...."
"Does the company really mean more to you than Nagisa?"
"Nagisa is everything to me"
"There's still a chance for the both of you. Are you going to let him go?"
"....."
"....."
Seeing that she was getting no response Okuda took it as a sign to leave
"Do you know why taking over the company means so much to me?"
"....." she stopped and looked at him
"Because I'm a delinquent, there was no hope for me and now there's a chance for me to prove that I'm not just a piece of trash. There's hope for me"
"Nagisa never saw you as hopeless, or trash. He knew that you had a bright future ahead of you"
"...."
"Why don't you tell him what you told me. He'll understand"
"Will he?"
"He's the most understanding people I know"

That night while Nagisa was in his apartment studying for the upcoming exam he heard the doorbell ring multiple times
"???"
That can't be his mom, she was still on her business trip
He walked over and opened the door revealing Karma
"Karma!" He was shocked to see the condition he was in
His lip was cut, his cheek bruised, and a deep wound on his forehead.
His hair also looked messier than usual...
He was noticeably weak, leaning on the door for support and holding his right side in pain
"What happened?!"
"I got into a fight with my dad"
"...come in"
Nagisa grabbed Karma's arm lightly and dragged him inside, taking him to his living room and seating him on the sofa.
"....."
"...."
"...."
"....."
Silence filled the room as Nagisa disinfected Karma's wounds
"...."
"...."
"Arent you going to ask why I fought my dad?" Karma finally spoke, breaking the silence
"That's none of my business" he responded, trying to sound as cold as possible
"....I told him the truth"
"...." Nagisa froze just as he was about to place a bandage on his forehead
"I told him you're my boyfriend"
"But we-"
"I know, but I still love you" he held Nagisa's hand
"...."
After hearing silence Karma doubted that Nagisa still loved him
"Do you?" He asked
"What about the company?"
"Gone"
"Why-"
"I told you already....I love you"
"....."
"I'm sorry for the way I treated you before. I just felt reassured that I finally had a future, that there was hope for a worthless delinquent like me....."
After telling Nagisa his true feelings he looked down in shame
But, before he knew it Nagisa had wrapped his arms around him
"Dummy! Your not worthless!"
"Nagisa?"
The two separated and looked each other in the eye
"We both said harmfuls things that day" Nagisa said
"Then....Can we start over?"
"....yeah" Nagisa agreed and the two went in for another hug
