After a long day at work I finally got home at around midnight.

When I entered the apartment I noticed all the lights were turned off.
He probably already fell asleep

When I entered the room there was Karma, sleeping peacefully with the blanket pulled off, exposing his naked chest.
I couldn't help but smile upon seeing him so defenseless

By the time I had changed into my sweatpants and t-shirt I got in bed alongside Karma.
But just before I covered myself in the blanket I moved closer to my husband and planted a light kiss on his cheek
"I love you" I whispered before turning my back to him
But in that second I felt him wrap his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him
"I love you more" he whispered in my ear
He was awake!?
