3rd person POV

"As you all know a new classmate will be joining 3-E!" Yukimura Aguri smiled, clapping her hands together as the class looked at each other in confusion
"But Terasaka isn't new to the class" Isogai spoke
"Yeah, and he was just recently suspended" Kayano joined in
"...."
"....."
The class got quiet as they looked at the empty desk in the back of the classroom.
It was Nagisa's desk
They were still upset over his death and they felt guilty that they didn't get to hear his explanation.

"W-well its's not Terasaka, but Akabane Karma" their teacher broke the tension

"Akabane?" Rio questioned, now more interested in the class discussion

"He was suspended!?" Maehara asked

"Why are you so surprised? He always gets suspended" Chibi answered

"Yeah, but for good reasons. He protected one of our seniors last year remember" Sugino defended

"Anyway I'd like you guys to welcome your new classmate" their teacher smiled as she stepped aside to let her new student introduce himself
The minute the red head walked in he grinned sadistically causing the other students to lean back in their chairs
"I'll be joining your class starting today. Please treat me well" his smile know holding mischief
And just as he expected the students began talking amongst themselves
"Why don't you sit in the back seat" his new teacher said pointing to the one beside another empty one by the window
"???"
He quickly took notice of a boy with blue hair tied in two pig tails, looking out the window, his chin resting on his palm
'Nagisa?'

Karma POV

'Nagisa?'
I remember I saw him in the main campus often, he was in the drama club.
And just today I heard the principle mention that he committed suicide.
"...."
I took my seat and already knew that the class would very much like to avoid me, to keep away from trouble.
But I didn't mind though, I was more interested in Nagisa and the mystery that surrounded him.

Once school was over I walked over to Nagisa who was still looking out the window
"Hey" I spoke
Hearing my voice caused him to turn around in surprise
But he wasn't the only one surprised
"!!!" My eyes widened slightly when I saw his appearance close up
I was stunned at how pretty he was, he could pass off as a girl
No wonder he was in the drama club.
His eyes were a beautiful ocean color, I was getting lost in then until
"You're Akabane Karma..."
"I guess even you know me" I snapped out of it, my lips curling up and I sat in the seat infront of him
"Why can you see me?" He asked
"It's a gift"
Nagisa squinted his eyes
"Although it sounds like I'm bragging I'm not, I've been able to see ghosts since I was 6"
"I see" he looked away
"By the way-"
"Why did I kill myself?" He interrupted
"Woah, can you read my mind?" I joked
"......"
He was silent
"So? Why did you?" I asked, still wanting an answer
"I don't know....I can remember everything about myself, but I can't seem to remember anything that involves my death. I just remember standing over my dead body"
"...." after I gave him a moment of silence I smacked my lips together and stood up
"So how long do you plan on staying here?"
"I don't know"
"Well while you're here why don't you keep me company"
"Huh?"
"I mean it's not everyday I get to talk to a cute ghost"
"C-Cute!?" He blushed
"Yeah, plus I don't really have a good connection with the other students. They seem to be scared of me for some reason"
"I wonder why"
"Haha"
Shiota only sighed
"So...."
"So?"
"Friends?" I asked
"...*sigh" he sighed before agreeing

As the days continued to go by Nagisa and I would always hang out.
It was suprising to see how much we had in common.
One big one was that we both loved Sonic Ninja.

We got along so well that I forgot he was a ghost, but that didn't matter.
I was glad that Nagisa was able to understand me and reassure me about my troubles.

But during lunch as we were hanging out under a tree I saw Nagisa eye something
"What is it?" I asked as he stood up and stood behind a bush
I followed and stood next to him
What I saw was
"Terasaka...." I whispered
I knew him only because he liked causing trouble.
There were a few times that we fought, but that was it.
3 weeks after my suspension I heard he also got suspended for spreading nudes of some person.

"Just ignore him" I told Nagisa, walking back to sit under the tree
"...."
Nagisa was still eyeing him
"You ok?"
"I've seen him...." he whispered before disappearing
"Nagisa!?"

I soon began following Terasaka knowing that Nagisa was following him.
He mentioned that he's seen him before.
Was his death not as simple as a suicide?
Was this the mystery surrounding him?

I had followed Terasaka all the way to the restrooms in the back of the 3-E building.
I waited behind a bush observing his every move.
"....."
He was just throwing rocks at the small restroom building
"At least he's gone...." he mumbled
"????"
Once he was gone I came out and saw Nagisa standing infront of the door
"Did Terasaka bully you?"
"Maybe"

3red person POV
Nagisa went through the door while Karma kicked the door open for himself.
He knew Nagisa wouldn't be able to open it for him.

Once inside Karma saw how destroyed and messy the restroom was.
He stood behind Nagisa, but saw many blood stains coming from the shattered mirror, sink and floor.
"....."
Karma looked over and began looking at the graffiti on the walls while Nagisa walked toward the mirror, gently placing his hand on the glass.
"!!!!"
Images began flowing into Nagisa as he began remembering his missing memories.

After staying afterschool from rehearsing a school play Nagisa made his way to the bathroom to release his hair which was in a bun.
But just as he was about to tie it up in his usual pigtails Terasaka walked in
"You little shit! Where were you during lunch! Did you make me waste my time!"
"What if I did?"
Nagisa brought up all his courage to stand up against Teraska, but that only got him pissed off so he grabbed Nagisa's head and smashed it against the mirror causing it to shatter
"Are you talking back to me!?" He yelled and banged his head on the cracked mirror again, peaces of glass cutting his face
"S-stop!" Nagisa managed to say
"Still want to talk back! How bought I show you a lesson!"
Terasaka began removing Nagisas's pants and unzipping his own
"P-please stop!" Nagisa tried escaping back terasaka was twice as strong as him and held him down
"I'm lucky you look like a girl!" He smiled while Nagisa cried

That night Terasaka had rapped Nagisa and took pictures, posting them on the school website causing everyone on the main campus to look at Nagisa in disgust.
They viewed him as a disgusting prostitute.

Because of the photos Nagisa missed 1 week of school, but returned the second.
He was hated and unwanted.

On his way to 3-E ready to tell his teacher and classmates the truth terasaka had grabbed him and taken him to the restrooms again.
"Let go of me! I'm going to tell the teacher what you did to me!"
"You little fucker!"
Teraska was furious and pushed Nagisa, causing him to fall back and hit the back of his head on the sink.
"Shit!"
Nagisa's blue hair was being dyed red because of the blood
Terasaka checked Nagisa's pulse
It was weak, but he was still alive
But that means he'll still tell the teacher and he'll get in trouble.
"......"
Teraska then pulled out a pocket knife from his back pocket and began slicing cuts on Nagisas's wrist.
Once done he picked him up and threw him over his shoulder, walking to the main campus.
While everyone was in class Teraska went to the top of the rooftop and threw Nagisas's body, making it look like a suicide.

But that week the nudes were traced to Terasakas phone and he was suspended the week following Nagisas's death.

"Nagisa?" Karma called out
".....he killed me....." he whispered
"????"
"He killed me"
"Who?"
"He killed me!!!!" Nagisa screamed in anger and a sudden gust of wind blew inside the building
"!!!!"
Karma was taken by surprise and used his elbow as a shield to protect himself against the wind
"Nagisa calm down!" Karma yelled through the harsh wind, but it was ignored

Anger began consuming Nagisa causing his appearance to change.
His bright pale skin color turned grey, black veins began coursing his entire body up to his face, his bright blue eyes turning into empty black sockets, blood dripping out of them, and his blue hair turning pitch black
"I'LL KILL HIM!!" Nagisa screamed before disappearing along with the wind
"......."
Once again the building was filled with silence.
"Shit!" Karma ran out and tried to search for Nagisa
He had to stop him
He's seen it once before when he was a kid.
A women wanted to get revenge on her husband for cheating, but she ended up burning before she could harm him.

If a ghost were to try to harm a human being they would be burned to ashes and not allowed to go into the afterlife.
He had to stop Nagisa for that reason!

Meanwhile Terasaka was walking around the small 3-E building. His plan was to go into the teachers office and steal the answer sheet for the next test since he wasn't going to study.

When he opened the door he was shocked that it wasn't the teachers office, it was the computer lab that looked rather familiar to the one in the main campus
'Did they install this here while I was gone?'
He stepped in to explore and maybe cause a bit of mischief.
And as he was walking around one of the computers turned on
"????"
He walked towards it, the screen was making a loud staticky noise.
"...."
Just as he was about to press the off button it turned off on it's own
"The hell"
When he turned around he was shocked to see another computer turned on, only this one had a dark red screen.
He took a step forward and one of the lights flickered
"If someone's messing with me I'm going to kill you!"
"....."
He took another step toward the computer and all the lights in the room began flicking, the computers turning on and off, and the floor beneath his feet shaking.
"What the hell!"
Teraska fell back, falling to the floor and when everything stopped there was only one working light and the computer screen was still red.

Everything was silent and Teraska was still on the floor in confusion.
"...."
Just as he was about to get up the computer began shaking violently and when it finally stopped grey hands began popping out of the screen
"!!!!"
Terasaka froze in fear and watched as the figure came out of the computer.
"AAAHHH!" he screamed and ran out of the room only when he exited the room he noticed he was at the main campus
"How the hell did I get here!?"

Nagisa was still standing in the computer room.....waiting.
He wanted terasaka to feel lost, feel despair....fear.
"...."
No matter where he ran he will still end up at that place.
"....."
When Nagisa took a step forward he felt a burning sensation on his hand
He peered down at his hand with his empty sockets.
There were glowing orange spots on his hand, peaces flaking off
"Not yet" he spoke before disappearing

Karma POV

After searching the 3-E building I went to the main campus knowing that Nagisa died after falling off the rooftop.
He must be there!

When I got there I saw Nagisa walking toward Terasaka who was pressed against the railing, swinging his arms trying to keep Nagisa away.
I took a closer look at him and saw ashes disintegrating away.
"Nagisa stop!"
He did as was told and faced me, his appearance still horrifying.
"Why are you trying to stop me? Do you not care that he killed me? Does justice not matter to you anymore?"
"It's because I do care Nagisa! I don't want my friend to turn into a pile of ashes!"
"....."
"....."
"I never wanted any of this..." his voice cracked as he looked down.
"Nagisa?"
"I just wanted to live a normal life"
He looked up at me and his appearance changed back into that of my sweet friend
"And you will, in your next life"
"......"
Tears began rolling down his cheeks as he continued to look at me
"Leave it to me Nagisa"
"What?"
"Do you trust me to get your revenge?"
"B-But-"
"I'll be fine" I smiled to reassure him
"....Thank you" he smiled before disappearing again

I was enjoying the silence until
"What the hell just happened!? Are you trying to play a joke on me!?"
After hearing him speak I glared at him.
I wasn't going to go easy on him.
Because of this bastard Nagisa was dead.
"~Soo Terasaka~" I walked toward him cracking my knuckles
"W-What!?"
"You're going to tell me everything you ever did to Nagisa. Otherwise, I know where you live and you won't be the only one to feel my wrath"

That same day I had Nagisa's case reopen using my family's name.
His death was no longer labeled as suicide, but murder.

I also had Terasaka confess to the police for everything he's done, but not before leaving a couple of bruises and broken bones.
I also made sure the police punished him as harsh as they could and had them send him to juvenile prison.

As for the pictures, with the help of many experts we had them all deleted and anyone who somehow came across one or was in possession of one would be expelled from the school.

By the third day I told the class what Nagisa never got to tell them.
His story on how he was innocent, that he was a victim of Terasaka's bullying.

Everything went smoothly that Nagisas's name was soon restored.

The next day I skipped school to visit my best friend.
Only when I got there I was surprised to see Nagisa still here.
He was just peering down at his own grave
"You're still here" I spoke, relieved that he still hadn't left
"I couldn't leave without saying goodbye" he faced me, giving me a smile
"....."
"....."
We stood side-by-side in silence, but I  couldn't help but feel my heart break.
He would be leaving me.
Part of me wants him to leave and finally find peace, but I also want him to stay with me.
"Thank you Karma, for everything"
My lips curled up
"I'm glad to have met you, but I wish I could have met you while you were alive"
Nagisa grinned
"Hopefully I'll be reborn as a girl in my next life and be sent to you"
"I could care less what gender you are, but I'll find you"
"Goodbye Karma" Nagisa smiled, a tear rolling down his cheek.
"...."
That was the last time I saw him before he vanished

I was left alone at his grave
My heart still hurt.
"I guess we weren't meant to be in this life."
I looked at my palm and walked away from his grave
"Goodbye Nagisa"
