"Nyufufufufu~ Minna! I'm thinking of a new project for you! Now, I know you wouldn't finish this easily, So, I partnered some of you!~" Said koro-sensei as he read the partners out loud

"Kurahashi, Rio and Kayano."

"Nagisa, Isogai and Sugino." And so on.

"And last but not least, Karma, Okuda....and (Y/n)! Class dismiss!" Said koro-sensei

You don't really care about this so better just work. But how can you focus? You are partnered with your crush..

Okuda was still in shock mode to put in such a situation.

Okuda, well, is kind of like your best friend. You tell her secrets and stuff, crying shoulder, and a great tutor.

So, she knows you have a crush on karma, but so does she. She don't know how to tell you, because she doesn't want to ruin such a nice friendship.

"Okuda, I can't believe this!" You said holding you head

"I know, me too." She said packing her things

"I mean, how will I focus? How?!" You said shaking her

She fixed her glasses and a bit dizzy by your shaking "Well, try your best to ignore him. There could always be away." She said shyly

"Yes! Try and hope for the best!" You said, grinning.

She smiled at your energetic attitude right now "Ne, we should get going."

You nodded skipping out while okuda followed.

"So, which house would we be?" You thought out loud looking up the sky as your hands is behind your head.

"It depends, I guess." Okuda said lowly walking slowly with you.

"I bet karma would just leave tge work to us, right?" You said sighing

"Y-Yeah..." Okuda said and sighed as well, she couldn't do anything but agree.

"I want to confess to him though. Can you help me out?" You asked stopping on your tracks looking at her with a big grin

Okuda stopped on her tracks too, looking at you with wide eyes.

"M-Me...?" She nervously asks as her grip on her bag tightened.

"Oh gosh, why me? Gah, of course I'm her best friend! B-But, this is really serious..." Okuda thought worriedly

"Of course! Who else? So, are you gonna help me?" The (h/c) haired girl said that grin never leaving her face

"What am I gonna do?! This is.. Ahh! Do I have choice anyway? Gosh... This is so confusing.." Okuda thought panicking

"Okuda? Earth to okuda?" You waved your hand in front of her as she stiffened her glasses almost falling

"O-Of course!" She said quickly red dust crawling on her cheeks in embarrassment.

"Aw, thank you!" You hugged her tightly she barely breathed.

"I knew I can count on you!" You said letting her go "N-No..problem, (y/n)" She flashes you a small smile

"Be safe walking home, okuda!" You wave at her before walking separate ways.

Okuda's POV

One of the hardest things on life, Best friend or love one?

I admire karma a lot. But so does my best friend, how am I suppose to do this?

I'll end up hurting (Y/n) if I told her this, but if I help her.. I'll end up hurting myself.

Sigh, How am I suppose to do this?

I sat on my chair near my study desk and looked up the ceiling for a bit.

Thinking possibilities and things for us not getting hurt.

There's no chance, so I'm gonna help her. I'm gonna do my best.

Your POV

I laid down my cozy bed as I hugged the sheets.

Played on my phone for a few minutes before sleeping.

I wonder how okuda is doing? She didn't look fine earlier. She zoned out by my question. Is she alright?

I hope she is. I hug a pillow and snuggle to it.

I closed the lamp beside me and slept.

~Next Morning~
Third Person POV

(Y/n) walked in the classroom doing her morning routine and talking to okuda.

"Hey okuda, I was meaning to ask you. Are you alright?" You asked worriedly

"Of course I am, what makes you think I'm not?" Okuda was the one to ask a question now

"Well, you zoned out on my question, is there any problem?" You asked looking at her worriedly

"Ah, that. There's no problem, (Y/n). No need to worry, I was tired in that time, s-so I zoned out." She waved her hand assuring you she was fine.

"I see, then you must get rests, okay?" You smiled sweetly at her making her relax a bit.

"Alright, I will." She gave back your sweet smile as you both laughed. But a red head interrupted the fun you both had.

"Ne, Can we talk about the project?" Karma said resting his elbow on your shoulder

You huffed crossing your arms but deep inside you were freaking out.

"A-ano, sure karma-kun." Said okuda exchanging glances to you and him.

"So, all we have to do is (something blah blah. No not killing people and robbing banks.)" Karma said boredly

"I think s-so, yeah." Okuda nodded shyly trying not to make eye contact.

"Will you get your elbow off my shoulder, please?" You said calmly but a little irritated.

"Heh, what if I don't want to?~" Karma teases leaning a little

"Just, get it off will ya?" You glared at him

"No, I won't." He said smirking

You just then shrugged his elbow off. "You don't like me touching you, eh?" He chuckled

"Not that I don't, but you're annoying." You huffed crossing your arms.

Okuda did nothing but watched in amusement at that time.

And then, you both did nothing but fight like cats and dogs.

After that, you all talked on about the project and so on.

*-After the project-*

"Done, finally." You said sighing while leaning back to the wall.

"We can finally rest for a bit." Said okuda sitting next to you.

Karma didn't say a word as he lays down the bed, sleeping for a while.

You took the chance about the confession.

"I don't know how to say it. Casually? Romantically? With a poem?" You said to okuda obviously panicking

"You decide what your heart desire, (Y/n)-chan." Said okuda smiling at you

"Hold on a sec, I need to go call my mom." Said okuda leaving

But a small note falls out her pocket as she leaves.

Curious, you picked it up. You debated if you should open or not. It may have a problem you can help her.

So, you opened it slowly. Reading the whole thing..

Life.. How? How to choose between your best friend and love one? It hurts me a lot that I kept such a secret to her. But I guess it's for the sake of our friendship. I'll make her happy, I'll help her confess. Even if I hurt myself, just for the sake of (Y/n).

Okuda.

You can't believe what you just read.. Did she really like him? Did she had a hard time?

Yes, she has a problem. But it's you..

Once she came back, you hugged her trying not to wake the red head.

"Sorry, okuda. I didn't know.." You said sadly

She pats your back "it's alright, (Y/n). I'll find someone better"

"Now let's make this confession.." She whispered to make sure the red head didn't hear.

*~Outside~*

"Thank you, okuda." You bowed at her as she left, or did she?

"Thank you also, karma-kun." You said as you smiled at him.

"A-Ano.. I was meaning to say this to you, well, I-I... I like you." Your face reddened as you made a fist by nervousness

Karma laughed patting your head "Such kawaiiness, (y/n)."

"I like you too!" He said grinning as you hugged back.

Okuda showed up popping up confetti.

You all laughed outside and had a nice talk.

Until they all need to go.

Okuda slowly walked to her home with a sad frown.

"It's for the sake of friendship..." She sniffed as tears rolled down her cheeks

She sat on a vacant seat on the swing as she stared on the ground.

"It really does hurt.." She mumbled moving back and forth.

More tears came out as she sniffed.

A hand appeared on her sight as she looked at the owner.

"Here, wipe those sad tears away."

Okuda smiled cheerfully managing to say out a little thank you.

"No sweat, Okuda. Best friends are best friends. I knew it wasn't alright.." You took the vacant seat next to her as you moved back and forth.

Okuda wiped her tears away and chuckled "Thanks for being with me, (Y/n)."

"Hey, don't sweat it." You stayed with her until sundown.

Okuda can't be more happier.

"Hey, I realized karma seems more hotter than the sun.."

"(Y/n)..."

I guess it's not what you're expecting.

But I don't want okuda to look like a bad guy. So, yeah.

I also realized that I don't fit in the Mystic Messenger Fam.

I always miss chatrooms and waste hourglasses.

I couldn't update often on this book, think about me playing the game often?

I'm bust doing chores and other stuff so I missed some chatrooms

I'll play mys mes another time.
