|| Blizzards||
You were at your best friend's house aka Karma Akabane. You have known him for a while now and you have grown really close to him. Secretly you have a crush on him but he has no clue and you have no clue of whether he likes you back or not.

Anyways it's Christmas and Karma's Birthday so you were planning on confessing to him for a present.

You swiped your phone open and began to text Karma.

You: hi! So when do you want me to come over?

You sent and waited, laying down onto your bed with a sigh. Your phone beeped which made you glance at your phone.

Karma: You can come over right now if you want

He replied which made you smile. You sat up and switched your phone off, shoving it into your pocket. You then walked over to your closet and took out a sweater and some jeans to change into since the weather had changed from snowy to extremely snowy.

You slipped your snow shoes on and made your way to Karma's house which was a few houses down in your neighborhood.

The wind blew and scratched at your face so your tightened your hood on your head to block the snow from attacking your face. You made it to Karma's house and knocked on the door.

You shivered as the door opened and Karma stood there with a candy cane in his mouth. He smirked and let you in as he closed the door.

Once you stepped in heat blew in your face which made you smile and relax as you slipped your jacket off.

"What took ya so long?" Karma asked as he laid down on his couch with his arms crossed behind his head, the candy cane still in his mouth.

"Well hmm, I don't know. Maybe because there's a friggen blizzard outside?" You stated as you threw your jacket onto a chair and sat down on it.

Karma laughed. "Oh, well excuse me for asking."

You puffed your cheeks out and narrowed your eyes at him. You then sighed and crossed one of your legs over the other as you slouched in the chair slightly.

"So where's your parents?" You asked as you looked around.

Karma turned his head and made a closed eye smile. "They got stuck in some air traffic because of the snow."

"O-Oh," you thought as your cheeks heated up. 'S-So we're the only ones in the house!?? . . . Wait! No dirty thoughts (Y/N)!!!' You thought as you mentally smacked yourself.

"Hmm? What's with the expression?" Karma asked as he stared at your blushing face.

"Nothing!" You exclaimed as your struggled to die your blush down.

"Okay," Karma grunted as he sat up and stood up.

"Want some cocoa?" Karma asked as he took a step towards his kitchen and turned to you.

You nodded your head an smiled. "Yeh sure, thanks."

Karma nodded and left to the kitchen to make some cocoa. You released a long sigh of relief as you threw your head back.

Suddenly the windows shook which made you quickly sit up and stare at the  windows. A chill raced up your spine which gave you a bad feeling.

Karma came back with some cocoa and handed you a cup. You grabbed the cup and smiled at Karma. "Thanks."

Karma nodded. "No problem," he chimed as he sat back down on the couch and began to drink his cocoa.

You stared down at the cocoa and stared at your reflection, biting your bottom lip. 'Sh-Should I confess?'

"What's wrong? Something bothering you?" Karma asked as he put his cocoa down onto a coffee table.

You shook your head quickly. "N-No just thinking," you hesitated.

"Whatever you say," Karma said with a smile.

You smiled back when suddenly the lights flickered and then turned off, which made your squeak when it got dark. All you could see was the fireplace. So you walked over to it and felt around for Karma.

"K-Karma?" You called.

"Yeh I'm right here," You heard Karma say beside you.

You squeaked a little surprised but calmed down when you felt him place a hand on your shoulder.

"The blizzard must have messed with the electricity," Karma stated as he shivered.

"So n-now there's no heater?" You asked as you shivered and hugged yourself.

Karma nodded his head and sighed. "At least we still have the fire."

You nodded and smiled as you stared at the fireplace. But very slowly the fire began to die down until it was totally gone.

"K-Karma, what d-do we do now?" You asked as your teeth chattered.

Karma sighed and wrapped his arms around you, snuggling up to you which made your face heat up.

"Well we're going to have to try to keep ourselves warm until the power comes back on," he stated as he nuzzled his face into your shoulder.

Your face was now a blushing mess as he snuggled against you. But you were getting really warm now and didn't shiver.

"K-Karma?" You asked as you snuggled against him.

"Hmm?" He hummed in response.

"When do you think the power will be back on?" You asked.

He thought for a moment. "Probably in an hour or so."

"Oh, okay," you said as you smiled.

"(F/N)? Etto, can you snuggle up to me?" Karma asked as he slightly blushed, but wasn't noticeable.

Your face heated up more as you nodded. "Okay."

You turned around and hugged Karma, snuggling against him. Karma blushed a little more but quickly tried to stop it.
'Stop blushing, she probably is just doing this to be a nice friend. She doesn't like you more then one' he thought to himself as he hugged back.

'It's so warm. . . Gah! I'm so close to him' you thought as you blushed nuzzled into his shoulder.

Karma's eyes widened as he blushed more. 'Why am I blushing?! D-Do I like (F/N)? No it can't be' he thought as he shook his head.

"What are you doing Karma?" You asked as you feel him shake his head.

"Nothing," he said back as you smiled.

"Hey, do you want some cookies?" Karma asked as he pulled away from the hug.

You nodded your head quickly, childishly. "Sure!"

Karma smiled at you as he got up and went to the kitchen.

'What the hell?! Why are you acting so childish!?' You thought as you mentally slapped yourself.

Karma came back and sat down with a plate of cookies in his hand. He then handed you the plate with a smile. "Here ya go."

"Thanks," you said as you took the plate and got a cookie.

"No problem," he said as he also took a cookie and began to eat it.

You stared at the cookie. 'Sh-Should I give him my present now?'

"Whatcha thinking about?" Karma asked as he noticed you were just staring at your cookie.

"Huh? Nothing," you quickly said as you took a bite of the cookie.

'Maybe I should' you thought.

"C'mon tell me," Karma said as he slightly pouted.

"W-Well I was thinking about giving you your birthday present," you told him as you blushed.

"Oh okay," he said with a small smile.

"W-Well. . . . . . . I like you. . Karma. . more then a friend," you said a little quickly as you looked down and squeezed your eyes shut, blushing.

Karma widened his eyes and blushed. But since you couldn't see he tried to die his blush down.

"Really?" He asked.

You quickly nodded your head as you blushed more. 'Is he going to reject my confession?!?' You thought.

Suddenly you felt him tilt your head up with a finger.

You blushed intensely as he closed his eyes and leaned forward.

'What is he-' your thoughts were cut off by Karma's lips pressing to yours.

You widened your eyes and blushed a bright crimson red.

'He's kissing me!?!?' You thought surprised.

You then realized you weren't kissing back because you were thinking so you slowly kissed him back. He placed a hand on your cheek as he kissed you.

You laced your fingers with his other hand as you kissed him. Karma then pulled away for air.

"I love you too~" he said with a smirk.
When he smirked your heart raced and thumped louder in your chest.

You shyly looked away but had a grin on your face. "I-I'm glad."

Karma hugged you and nuzzled into your shoulder. "How long, have you had those feelings for me?" He asked.

You blushed and thought for a minute. "Ever since we became best friends."

Karma blushed. "Me too."

You widened your eyes as your breath hitched and your heart skipped a beat.

'H-He has/ S-She has loved me ever since we were best friends?!' Both you and Karma thought surprised.

You then smiled and snuggled against him.

"Will you go out with me (F/N)?" Karma then asked.

You blushed more and smiled. "Of course."

Karma the pulled away from the hug and kissed you again. You blushed and kissed back.

You kissed for about a minute before pulling away.

Suddenly the power switched on and all the lights were back on.

That night you and Karma had fun together. Playing games, cooking, watching movies, and snuggling against each other.

From that day on you were now dating Karma Akabane. . .
