I'm tirreedd. I don't wanna do this anymore! I wanna be free from this!

No I can't think like this. I need to get back to work, rather, studying.

2nd Punic War. The war was caused by General Hannibal who wanted to control Italy to get revenge on Rome.

Hannibal...? It's really familiar. Isn't he a hmm... vice warden from One Piece in Impel Down? Oh yeah!

Wait... I'm getting distracted again!!

I read the next paragraph and it had really deep English words but I'm pretty sure they're understandable if it weren't for my brain being distracted.

All I could understand was the first word even if I repeated it like 5 times already.

My mind was saying that it read bla bla bla... That's the only thing I could understand.

I hate World History! Why are we studying this anyway? It's in the past and we're in Japan for God's sake.

God. I need a break I'm too stressed. I still have seven piled up homeworks and school works.
The wi-fi is broken and my homework in Science needed just that! What a great life I have!

I need to breathe even for just a minute.

I went outside and took a walk to the park. The sky was getting dimmer by the second. The sun descended for the day.

I knew I had to go back and do my homeworks but I can't calm down at my house.

My plan was to take a breather then go back but I knew myself. I wouldn't go back until it was dark out. Therefore I decided to bring my homework with me.

The park was empty. I sat by the swing and started to read my History book again.

I was starting to understand the sentences. It was making sense but then I saw a shadow loomed over the book.

It was dark out and I can hardly read so this guy definitely got my attention.

"Hey. Excuse me sir but I'm read-" I started off sassy but stopped when I saw a particular red-haired devil.

"Oh, it's just you, Karma. Well can't you see I'm reading? At least call my name or wait 'til I'm done reading. I was starting to decipher this hieroglyphic writing you know." I said and tried to read again.

He sat down the swing next to me.

"How come you can't understand it? It's definitely easy Y/n-chan~~" Well it's not my fault it was hard.

"Like you can talk. If I remember correctly your worst subject is History Karma."

"Ohh~ ne, Y/n-chan, how can you remember that? Do you perhaps have a crush on me?~"

"In your dreams, Karma." That'll mean he's dreaming right now.

"Really then, what's Itona-kun's worst subject?" I flinched.

"How would I know? Itona's new." I said carefully.

"How about Nagisa-kun's then?" Fuck.

"If you want the truth I'll tell you, Karma, you are my rival. Therefore, I must know all your strengths and weaknesses." What a lie.

"I'm honored to be Y/n-chan's rival~" Fuck you.

"Well, you need to be." I rolled my eyes at him and he just smirks.

Urggh! Really? How did I even fall for this jackass?

"Anyways, I'll help you review."

"What? I didn't ask for your help!" I was shouting but he was already walking in the direction of my house.

"Karma!!" I ran off to chase him.

"Oh now you're chasing me Y/n-chan?"

"Well you were walking to my house. Who knows what'll you do."

"How are you so sure I'm walking towards your house?" I felt my face heat up. I looked away and stuttered.

"Because..." I say as I looked around and noticed my house in front of me.

"...we're here and you didn't take a detour," I smirked.

"Perhaps, you're right, Y/n-chan. Let's go inside~~" He walked towards the house and pointed at the doorknob.

"Don't act like it's your house." I harshly grabbed my key and opened the lock.

"Hey. I'm already sacrificing my time for you you know." Sacrifice, my ass.

"I didn't tell you to." I went inside until he spoke.

"Okay then. I'll go. Bye Y/n-chan~~" Fuck. I'm screwed if he goes. I can't concentrate right now if I'm alone. Thoughts will conquer me. But if someones snaps me back I'm sure I'll manage.

"Wait... I'm only gonna say this once so... Please stay." I sound so pathetic right now arghh! I had my eyes hidden in my bangs so I was lucky he didn't get to see my pathetic face.

"Hehe. I wouldn't go anyway. I just wanted to tease you Y/n-chan~~." This Guy!! I hate you.

I went inside and thanked the Heavens because I just cleaned my place recently.

He sat down and took my book. I looked at him.

"What? No snacks?" Really? Fuck this impolite shit.

"Fine what would you like to have? I can't promise anything though." Would I be able to stand this through the night??

"You." This bitch. Y'know 'cuz Karma's a bitch.

"Umm... unavailable at the moment please ask permission from Shuu Sakamaki." I will forever belong to him!

"..." He didn't reply and looked at me as if to say 'Really?'

"Ask for something that is attainable and edible, Karma." I rolled my eyes. Again. I swear my eyes would be at the back of my head tomorrow. (A/n: Maybe not tomorrow but a bit later at the night ;) )

"Fine. Strawberry something will do." He's playing with me. He knows I hate Strawberry flavor.

"I don't have those. You know I hate strawberry flavored anything. The real fruit is an exception though. Also the lollipop."

"Oh. Is the lollipop, Lips?"

"Yeah." Usually, that's the only brand I'll accept.

"Do you have those?" I'm pretty sure I still had a couple.

"Hmm lemme check." I went to the kitchen to find out that it was already devoured by me. I forgot to buy it.

"I don't have anymore!"

"Aw. Just come back here then."

"I'll just change my clothes." There was no reply so I proceeded upstairs and changed.

As I changed and emptied my pockets, I found two lollipops. I forgot about it because I always put three lollipops in them to eat for the day. I guess since the day was busy I only got to eat one the morning. I went down eating one.

"I thought you ran out?"

"I forgot about the ones in my pockets." I handed one to Karma.
"I'd rather have the one you're eating~~" I have no time for this! I'm gonna fail the test tomorrow!!

"Well I'm sorry. I'd rather keep this to myself." He was gonna say something but I cut him off.

"Just start asking questions."

"Do you like me?" I blushed and looked away.

"I do believe that this question doesn't cover our pre-test for tomorrow." I kept my composure but I somehow knew it wouldn't last the whole night.

"You're hopeless Y/n-chan."

"Just ask. Okay?" I'm really irritated but I also want to know if my hard work paid off.

"Who's the general who was the greatest threat to Rome in the Punic Wars?"

"Hannibal." I chuckled remembering One Piece.

"You get easily distracted Y/n-chan. Impel Down right?" I laughed.

"Hahaha. Yeah but I thought what he wore was for pharaohs?" He ignored me and looked for the next thing to ask.

"Next question. Who brought him down?" Aha. This one's easy.

"Scipio Africanus."

"Oh if you get one answer wrong, you'll have to do one dare or one truth." I'm in deep shit.

"Where did the word republic came from?"

"res republic" I crossed my fingers. Shit it's right. Right?

"Aw so close Y/n-chan." My face paled. Shit.

"It's 'res public'." Fuck. Two fucking letters bullshitted me.

"C-Can't you consider?"

"I'm sure our tako sensei wouldn't, Y/n-chan. So do take the dare or truth, to be fair." That's true. Koro-sensei wouldn't consider that.

"O-okay? Don't make it hard or too embarrassing okay?" I silently prayed.

"I won't promise anything but I'll try."

"Okay. Your true answer to my question earlier?" I did like Karma but I'm not sure if this was the right time but I don't really like to lie.

"Um. Yes." I said whispering.

"I didn't hear Y/n-chan."

"Yes," I said a bit louder.

"What?"

"YES!" I shouted really loudly and looked down.

"You didn't have to shout. I heard you the first time." He smirked and laughed. Urghh! My gahd.

"I hate you."

"But you just said yes." What will become of us now? I know things will never be the same.

"That's why I hate you."

"Eh?"

"Let's just move on."

"Who started the 3rd Punic War?" Damn. What was that guy's name again??

"Marc Cato?"

"Aw two letters again Y/n~ It's Marcus Cato." Shit not again! I feel like luck's not on my side this day.

"Okay here's the question. Can you be mine?"

"No can do."

"Eh why?"

"Oh only one question for a wrong answer."

"Fine. What greek word did Punic came from?"

"Punics?" Shit.

"One letter this time Y/n. It's 'punicus'." Fuck.

"..."

"You know the question Y/n."

"This will be a long answer so if I answer this, can this be the last?"

"Hmmm... Alright but I'll count all your wrong answers and you'll pay for them."

"Okay. We can't be possible right now and the near future. I don't intend to have love interests at this age and as long as I'm studying. Once I'll stabilize, that'll be the time to do that."

"I'll wait."

"Karma. Were only 14. I'm gonna study to be a doctor. That's 10 long years Karma. and we still haven't entered high school."

"I know. I'll wait as long as I need to so don't you dare fall for anyone else."

"As long as you wait and be by my side, I won't." I smiled and felt happy.

Maybe getting the answers wrong wasn't so bad.
