I was walking down the street to go to a cafe near my house when i spotted a black van near me so I quickly ran knowing that it only meant one thing and I realized I was correct as the van sped up chasing me Seeing an alley I ran into it but the van followed and I soon saw it was a dead end, the door opened and before I could speak I heard a gunshot go off when I looked down I saw a huge red circle on my shirt the blood spreading by the second meaning I was shot in my stomach my hand shakily went to touch the wound but I passed out.

Paris POV......

I was sitting on the couch eating grapes waiting for Michael to get home when my phone ran for the third time in 5 minutes so I picked it up seeing it was Jade's number answering it.

I hung up running upstairs grabbing some house shoes not caring about my attire I left the house getting into my car rushing to the hospital, when I got there I saw the secretary at the desk when I approached her she just looked at me seeing how to much of a rush I was in.

Third floor but she's in surgery stay in the waiting room.

I didn't even question how she knew who I was here for but hopefully she got it right so i ran to the elevator pressing the button over and over again until it opened I rushed in pressing the number three waiting on the door to close but I couldn't help it I burst into tears who would do this to her? I pray to god that she makes it a whoever shot her was gonna pay for it I promise that, when I stepped off the elevator my phone rung I grabbed it looking at the caller ID.

The line went dead I sat down in one of the chairs my leg shaking as I put my head in my hands crying and praying silently, I was there for an hour or two before I heard a door open.

The doctor turned around walking away as I followed him after a few seconds he stopped in front of a room opening the door I saw Jade laying in the bed cords attached to her body made me want to cry but I had to stay strong for her.

Here are her X-rays you see this is the bullet if it would've went straight through her she could've been paralyzed for the rest of her life maybe even dead.

Thank god but how long is she gonna be in here?

She can leave tomorrow morning but we have to make sure that she doesn't move as much because we don't want the stitches to rip.

Is it going to cause her any pain after the drugs ware off?

Well yes but we are gonna give antibiotics to deal with the pain.

I watched him walk out before seeing the door close behind him before I went to Jade's side kissing her forehead pulling up a chair grabbing her hand.

Jade I don't know who did this to you but I promise who ever did it will rot in hell after we find and kill them.
