DAVE: karkat and i do often flip quadrants. we switch from red to pitch to pale and then repeat the cycle.
DAVE: basically we have a normal human relationship. because a basic human relationship is, a lil bit of all quadrants.
DAVE: thats easier for karkat since he has gone through the whole thing with "why i feel everything for one person" thing.
DAVE: so he and i are, at times, pitch.
DAVE: well, hes pitch at least. i feel nothing but pure, unadulterated love for him.

KARKAT: AS FAR AS PITCH GOES...I WILL ADMIT, AT FIRST I DID FEEL SOLELY THAT FOR HIM, BUT AFTER TIME THAT OBVIOUSLY CHANGED AND NOW HERE WE ARE.

DAVE: i guess were pretty much okay with us pitch bc we technically are that sometimes.
