This is gonna be a mess of headcannons, starting in the kk universe and spanning to the ck universe. This one's gonna be a bit controversial, I know there are a lot of places I could have potentially put these characters, these are just my opinions lol

Karate Kid era:

* Daniel Larusso is a half-blood. His wizard father, a Gryffindor, was killed by an evil dark lord by the name of Silver. Daniel lives with his muggle mother until he gets his letter to Hogwarts, where he is sorted into Hufflepuff.

* Johnny Lawrence is a half-blood as well, his poor mother marrying into a rich family (after Johnny's muggle father went to the store for milk) with the consequence of Johnny having to deal with his blood-racist stepfather, Sid. Johnny's mother was a Hufflepuff, but Sid is actually pleased when Johnny is sorted into Sid's old house, Slytherin.

* Ali Mills is a Hufflepuff, pureblood. When she and Daniel date briefly during their time at Hogwarts, her parents are upset that Daniel isn't pureblood ("And he's living with his muggle mother! Tragic!")

* The Cobras are all sorted into Slytherin besides Bobby, who's a Gryffindor. Sid tells Johnny not to be friends with Bobby for that reason (their family's were all friends, so that was how the Cobras knew each other), but that only makes Johnny want to be Bobby's friend even more.

* Miyagi is the headmaster, and like Dumbledore, he knows nothing (or everything?) about the people he's hiring.

* Kreese is the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, though he favors Slytherin (because he's a Slytherin, Head of House) and ends up teaching them more Dark Arts than defensive spells.

* Daniel would probably learn defense from Miyagi, who doesn't fire Kreese, because...drama?

* Daniel and Johnny both take a vested interest in Quidditch, it's like their karate. They duel and argue outside of it, but usually they settle things on the pitch come game-time.

(* For a lawrusso au, Johnny challenges Daniel to one-on-one Quidditch on the pitch at night (whatever that would entail). Daniel would end up bumping into Johnny on his broom and they have to hold onto each other to not fall. Or, for any ship, romantic broom rides...good soup.)

* Daniel is a chaser and Johnny is a beater.

* Daniel's favorite subject (besides Miyagi's Defense Against the Dark Arts) is Herbology, which Johnny picks on him for because he thinks the subject is soft.

Cobra Kai era:

* I imagined two different possibilities for Daniel post-Hogwarts: 

1.) He opens a Quidditch merch/supply store, which he runs with Amanda. He would know everything there is to know about the different teams and brooms, and kid customers would always ask to hear his epic Quidditch stories. I feel like this more aligns with canon-Daniel in Cobra Kai

2.) He stays at Hogwarts as the Herbology professor (still hiding in broom closets to make out with Johnny, just like their school days lmao). He would be very patient with the students and always know the best treatments for when students get injured from the plants. (Just thinking about Daniel in one of those suit jacket things with the elbow patches, or maybe just a sweater with the collar popping out...the students would call him a DILF, and they wouldn't be wrong.)

* When Miyagi finally fires Kreese/Kreese joins Silver in all his Dark Lord Stuff (was I gonna do anything with the evil Silver storyline? whatever), Johnny takes over that post. He means well, but he's horrible with the students and has them do "hands-on" learning way before they should.

* Ali would be the Charms teacher :-)

* Bobby would be the Transfiguration or Divination teacher

* One of the only students that actually likes Johnny is a Gryffindor named Miguel, a half-blood with a Ravenclaw mother. Miguel is sweet but reckless, always trusting Johnny's lessons wholeheartedly...even if he ends up in the hospital wing a few times.

* Johnny's son, Robby, is a Slytherin who hates how Johnny's work always pulled him away from him as a kid. Now that he's at Hogwarts, it seems like Johnny is paying more attention to this "Miguel" kid than him, so it sparks a bit of a rivalry between him and Miguel.

* Samantha Larusso, like her dad, is a Hufflepuff. She's a bit of a goody-two-shoes at first, but Tory from Slytherin teases her about it, and they get into a fight or two (Sam's also undeniably attracted to Tory--I mean what?)

* Aisha, Demetri, and Moon are in Ravenclaw.

* Yasmine and Piper are in Gryffindor.

* I can't really think of much else, this AU has potential to go in a lot of different directions. Like what if Sam found Silver's diary and was manipulated by him and Tory had to rescue her, or Robby versus Miguel in the Triwizard Tournament, etc.
