I am having the best day ever. I get the guy of my dream and making out with him. I open my eyes to see Kaldur crying. This was not part of the plan. I stop kissing him and wipe his tears.

"Hey. Baby what's wrong? Are you ok?" He didn't say anything. He just let the tears roll down his face. It was breaking my heart.

"Anglefish. Don't cry. I'm sorry if I made you cry. It's ok. I've got ya." I was shushing him and rubbing his back. I felt something bumpy. I push on it and look at his face. He bit on his lip, looked up at the ceiling and let more tears roll down his beautiful face. I knew that was were his "father" stabbed him.

"Baby. I touched you pain spot didn't I." He nodded with a whimper.

"I'm sorry. I forgot where it was. And I wasn't paying attention. I know how to make it better. Do you want me to make it better?" He nodded.

I smiled and gave him a kiss. I got up and grabbed the blanket from the chair and wrapped it around him. I was laying down pulling him down with me. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and laid his head over my heart. I felt his tears on my shirt. I started to hum an old lullaby I heard on stake out once

I ended the song and kissed his forehead. He looked up at me with happy eyes. He stopped crying and his eyes are starting to clear up. He snuggled deeper into my chest and squeezed me.

"That was beautiful." He said. I could feel the smile thought my shirt.
"Get some sleep babe. I'll be here when you wake up."
"Alright. I love you."
"I love you too babe. More than you could have imagined." I smiled and fell asleep in the land of dreams.
