Sharp pain ran through Sunny's spine, and carried throughout her body as she was forced roughly into a rocky ledge. She immediately went to stand up, but let out a yelp as a painful tremor ran through her shoulders and legs. She hadn't managed to catch who fired at her, but she knew they where strong. Shakily, the pale hero lifted her head, attempting to open her eyes and scout at her friends. But instead, she immediately met a set of green eyes.

Spring? Was her first thought, but she quickly shut down the idea. These eyes where cold and gleeful, not at all like the warm, fierce eyes of her friendly rival.

"Trying to sit up, silly?" a mocking voice asked. Sunny finally realized who she was faced with- shadow spring. She frantically tried to regain her footing, but instead let out an involuntary yell as pain shot through her body once again.

Shadow spring smiled gleefully, placing icy fingers on the red-head's cheek.

"Careful now, sunshine! We wouldn't want you to hurt yourself, would we?" She giggled, leaning closer to the young hero. Sunny couldn't stand it-Kelsey couldn't stand it. She was helpless, completely at the mercy of a being created to spread negativity. But she wouldn't cry. She wouldn't struggle. She wouldn't give the wretched knock-off of somebody so close to her heart the pleasure.

Shadow spring leaned even closer , and now their faces where inches apart. Kelsey scowled, and preceded to sputter out a string of curses that eventually amounted to "get off of me"

The green-brunette let out a sickeningly sweet giggle. She glided her fingers to Sunny's lips, silencing the boisterous girl beyond muffled protests.

"Aren't you a naughty one! What would your friends think of that kind of language!" Sunny's sarcastic response came out in frustrated groans. Where were her friends? She had track of them during the fight. Was April okay? Her counterpart was here, what had happened to her?

Sunny's thoughts where inturupted as Shadow Spring's spare hand begin pulling the feathers of her sleeves, cause in her her to let out a surprised gasp, as the pain  from the crash hadn't subsided.

"Look at you," Shadow Spring whispered, pushing her hand harder against Sunny's mouth. "Can't even take a little nudge! Dare I say the great Sunny is in despair?" Sunny's eyes flared. She began yelling with all her might, but the gloves band abruptly pushed harder against her already throbbing head, and she was quickly silenced.

"You, are not aloud to speak." Shadow Spring muttered, the smirk on her face growing ever larger. Sunny's eyes where stinging, but she blinked it away. Suddenly, the demonic girl gripped the young heroes wrist and yanked her into her arms. Sunny let out a blood curtailing scream as all of her muscles seemed to set ablaze.

She immediately began riving, both in pain and in an attempt to free herself from Shadow Springs grip. Unfortunately, the shadow held strong in the air

"LET ME GO!" Sunny shrieked, desperately kicking the air in search of a target.

"Nah ah, sunshine. Your mine now."

Everything froze as the shadow kissed Sunny, the heroes eyes widening. Finally, she let the stinging tears fall.

"LET HER GO" a voice shrieked. It sounded distant, unidentifiable.

There was a flash, and Sunny felt the world grow more and more faint as she passed out.

Green. That wasn't the first thing Kelsey saw upon waking up.

"Guys... Guys guys guys GUYS GUYS GUYS SHES AWAKE"

Suddenly there was a frenzy of people around her, all yelling something different. But Kelseys eyes rested on April, who was starring at the red head with tears in her eyes.

"Kelsey... Kelsey, thank god, thank god..." she was muttering over and over. Kelsey began to adjust  to her surroundings, quickly noticing a canopy of trees above her head, and a soft fabric beneath her arms.

Pushing herself up, her entire body felt sore, but it was nothing compared to before. But looking around and seeing her friends worried faces, she knew something must be wrong. But frankly? She didn't care. She turned around and kissed April, right then and there, and it was that moment that would last forever.
