Others: The previous admiral that Rhineland was assigned to was extremely abusive towards the Shipgirls under his command and frequently punched or kicked the shipgirls if they made even a small mistake, Rhineland was the most abused as the abusive admiral would always find any reason to abuse her, it got to a point where Rhineland was actually crippled by him when he broke her left leg with a metal baseball bat because she was taking longer than she usually did in the mornings, fortunately some of the other admirals found out about the abuse when one of the fleet's of Shipgirls, that belong to another admiral, didn't see Rhineland for a long period of time and when the abusive admiral was asked where Rhineland was, he lied saying she was busy, but some of the admiral's didn't believe him, so a few days later a group of seasoned admirals came to the base to investigate what was going on, they walked into the abusive admiral's office as he was kicking Rhineland in the stomach, he was quickly restrained and Rhineland clung onto other admirals crying as she thanked them, the Abusive Admiral was court-martialed and was sentenced life in prison. Shortly after the abusive admiral was thrown into jail, Rhineland had become depressed as she had become wheelchair bound, and thought she'd be scrapped but when she was told she wasn't going to be scrapped was going to be given a second chance she was extremely happy, even though at this point Rhineland's left leg was beyond saving due to how much damage the abusive admiral had caused, her left leg had to be amputated, but it quickly replaced with a prosthetic leg, allowing her to walk and do what she did best as a replenishment ship.
