As the group of standard class battleships made their way out of the mess hall tagging along were Fubuki, Mutsuki, and Yuudachi as the befriended one of the standards which was Arizona the group were conversing to one another and sharing stories and jokes when they suddenly hear a familiar tune from a distance which is coming from the shoreline.

Arizona: That tune that seems familiar what do you say sis???

Pennsylvania: Yeah that tune I've heard that before do you guys also hear it?

Nevada: Yeah i hear it. Said with a grin on her face.

Yuudachi: What is that song poi?

Fubuki and Mutsuki where also glancing to the standards as they also have not heard the music they are hearing and having confused looks

Both the Colorado and Tennessee sisters are just smiling at the familiarity of the tune they are hearing.

Fubuki: Uhm Arizona-san what is that song?

Arizona was about to answer Fubuki's question but Oklahoma was the first to answer it.

Oklahoma: That song Fubuki would be Over there written by George M. Cohan written in 1917 which was a popular song before the war you guys were in and its a different war i might add people call it back then as the great war or the first world war. she said

The three destroyers were just amazed at what Oklahoma just said as they continue to walk to the beach front as they near the beach front the song was changed to a song very familiar to any American ship girl on base and this time its louder than the first.

*Meanwhile*

 Enterprise: Huh you guys hear that? as she bolts her M1903 Springfield firing Grumman F6F Hellcats

 Lexington (CV-2): Yeah E its a song obviously.

 Saratoga: You got that right sis and its Anchors Aweigh too.

 Yorktown: But who could be playing such loud music at this early in the morning.

 Hornet: Probably the Admiral (American Admiral stationed in Yokusuka) Wanna check it out?

Akagi: Uhm Enterprise-san why is your Admiral playing such loud music this early?

Kaga: He's probably just trying to show off again.

Zuikaku: I don't know about you but if its a performance i'll go check it out for myself *Starts walking out the carrier range*

Hornet: Hey wait up E, Yorkie guys you wanna check it out?

The others just shrugged and followed Zuikaku and Hornet out of the range and start walking to the distance where the music is being played.

*Around the Base the American ship girls where also interested in hearing the music and made their way to the source of the music. Well maybe except for the destroyers since they didn't pretty much took notice of it*

*Back with our main group*

As the group of standards and three destroyers make their way to the shore they were surprised to see a woman looks like saratoga on the sand on her back unconscious add to that they soon realized its another ship girl as well given that she has bits of range finders sticking out on both of her head and also her clothes which was a khaki US Navy officers uniform complete with the hat.

Yuudachi: Who is she poi? you guys know her poi?

Mutsuki: She looks like Saratoga-san.

Fubuki: Uhm Arizona-san do you know her?

When Fubuki just glanced at the Americans the looks were either surprised or just a shocked expression that are seen on their faces, Arizona was the first one to snap out of her trance and starts to approach the unconscious ship girl when she examined her she saw that the unconscious ship girl has a number of cuts and bruises on her but nothing major she then told her fellow standards to carry and bring the unconscious supposedly American ship girl to bring her to the repair docks.

On their way they were greeted by some of the ship girls present most notably is the carriers that the base is playing host to and when they saw the unconscious ship girl being carried by the battleships most of them had a astonished or surprised look on their faces to see a new ship girl but the most notable one is both Lexington and Saratoga which were both confused and surprised at the sight of the unknown ship girl, the carriers guessed it that the unconscious was an American because of her clothing.

Outside of the Repair docks

They were soon greeted at the sight of the two admirals that Yokosuka plays host to and their respective secretary ships, the first was to talk was Admiral Roberts along him was his secretary Langley

Adm Roberts: Who is this i might ask Arizona?

Arizona: We don't know sir but we found her unconscious on the beach as we also hear the music is being played have you guys also hear it too?

Langley: Yes we heard the two songs one of which is anchors aweigh and a unfamiliar song for me but going back to the question, who is this? she does have a resemblance to Sara that i notice and by the looks of it she has some small wounds and her frame and height do tell me she's a battleship what do you think admiral?

Adm Roberts: Well first bring her to the repair baths to have her repaired if that's OK with you admiral Kobayashi?

Adm Kobayashi: Not at all by the looks of it she's one of your girls Roberts but I've never seen her though before but she does look like she's a bit injured, Also Nagato how many instant repair buckets do we have?

Nagato: we have a couple hundred left admiral you want to use one on this kanmusu sir?

Adm Kobayashi: Yes Nagato so she could be repaired immediately so we can ask her identity and her sudden appearance in our base isn't that right Admiral Roberts?

Adm Roberts: Your right about that Kobayashi as soon she's repaired we can start asking her questions and once she regained her consciousness as well, go on ahead Arizona put her in the docks and watch her and bring her to the office once she regained her consciousness.

Repair Docks

As Arizona gently put the unknown ship girl on the water the unconscious began to be riled from her unconscious state as she opens her eyes she immediately took notice of Arizona in front of her watching her she immediately had a slight shade of red on her face at the sight of being watched but she did ask Arizona first.

Sodak: Uhm excuse me ma'am where am i and who are you?

Arizona: Oh your awake good, you are in Yokosuka Japan my friend and oh my name is USS Arizona BB-39.

At the mention of her name the girl's eyes widened and Arizona took notice of it, at the same time one of the instant repair bucket starts dumping its contents on the bath.

Sodak: Oooooh that marks the spot!

Arizona: I can see you are enjoying the repair said with a smile.

Sodak: Yeah you can say that I've never felt this fresh in decades.

Arizona: Good i'm gonna wait for you outside of the repair docks your clothes are on the table over there *Points at the table*, then i'm gonna bring you to the Admiral to introduce you to him okay.

Sodak: So i'm halfway around the world in the pacific but also met Arizona I've heard stories of her during my construction as being a renowned ship

After that she began to wear her clothes which was a khaki officers uniform along with her hat and she began walking out of the repair docks she was greeted with Arizona waiting for her outside conversing with someone as she made her way they noticed her approach.

Arizona: Oh look what we have here good you ready to meet the Admiral?

*Sodak just nodded*

Arizona: And by the way meet my good friend Maryland "as Arizona mentioned her name Mary just smiled at the new girl"

Maryland: Good to see your awake there Mary started. When we found you earlier you were unconscious and have a couple injuries but nothing fatal although you did come with a entrance to the base and made half of the base's population interested in your arrival she finished.

Sodak: I see well then i think introductions are at hand might as well tell my name to you two.

Arizona: Save it to the Admiral and don't worry we'll be there as well since by the looks of it your  a battleship

As the three ship girls made their way to the admirals office sodak couldn't help but feel some of the stares that is being given to her, then Maryland spoke again.

Maryland: You know you do resemble Saratoga well your face does she said with a smile.

At the mention of Sara's name her eyes widened and she hurriedly ask something that Arizona and Maryland were not expecting.

Sodak: Is Sara here? And where is she?

Both Standards were surprised at the reaction given by the new comer but they answered her question as well.

Arizona: Yes Sara's here along with her sister Lexington.

Maryland: I think she's in the carrier range along with the others wanna drop by there after we introduce you to the admiral sounds good for you?

 Sodak: Yeah i think that's a good plan its been actually a long time since i last saw them.

Arizona: I see very well then lets get going.

Admirals Office

As the three American ship girls arrived in the door of the admirals office Arizona knocked on the door and they heard the admiral said "Come in" and so the went in and were greeted at the sight of the Admiral and his XO and his secretary ship Langley.

Adm Roberts: Ah your awake how are you feeling?

Sodak: Good sir thank you for repairing me too i am in your debt.

Adm Roberts: Oh no need to thank me just repay me with your good service and merit shown to me and that's all i ask and oh by the way this is my second in command Lt Cmdr Evelyn Richards and my secretary ship USS Langley CV-1 say hi you two.

Langley: Greetings dear.

Lt Cmdr Richards: Hi there nice to meet you i gotta say you do kinda resemble Saratoga by the looks of your face any relation to her?

Adm Roberts: Now you mention that you do resemble her care to introduce yourself please.

*At that Sodak stood in Attention and Saluted*

Sodak: Sir USS South Dakota glad to be back and ready to serve my country and its people and its allies sir!

*The two officers and three ship girls stood there in silence and with shocked expressions*

Sodak: Uhm sir did i do something wrong?

Adm Roberts: Not at all hey Richards can you call her here would you.

Lt Cmdr Richards: Yeah sure i'll get her here.

Sodak: Uhm sir is there something wrong?

Adm Roberts: Hm? Not at all there South just wait.

*Soon a 4th ship girl entered the office and stands besides Sodak*

Adm Roberts: State your name and hull number and class please.

South Dakota (BB-57): Uhm USS South Dakota BB-57 of the South Dakota Class Fast Battleship.

*The Admiral turn his attention to Sodak and Said the same thing but was immediately cut-off by Battleship X*

Sodak: Uhm USS South Dakota BB- 

South Dakota (BB-57): What!? that's impossible i'm the only South Dakota the original and one and only!

Lt Cmdr Richards: Hey Battleship X would you let her finish what she's about to say,  Carry om South.

Sodak: Then again USS South Dakota BB-49 of the South Dakota Class of Dreadnoughts

*At that reveal Maryland was first to react*

Maryland: Haaaaaaaa South Dakota Came Maryland's reaction as she began to cling on her younger cousin class of battleship and she began to sob silently and said i thought i'll never see you again its good to have you back little cousin.

*Both the Admiral and his XO and the remaining ship girls that is not Maryland where just dumbfounded at the reaction given by the supposedly tough Colorado class battleship to her younger cousin*

Maryland: I thought I've never see you again i was shocked when the navy said that they're just gonna scrap you it was also the same reaction of Lexi and Sara at that time too.

Sodak: Well i'm back am i and i'm here to stay and help ya'll and i'm not going anywhere i'll be always besides you ladies in the battle line.

*At that she approached the admiral and said that she is prepared to serve once more even though her class wasn't completed*

Adm Roberts: Very well then but we can't call you South Dakota since there is another ship here that bears the same name as you i hope you understand right?

Sodak: Not a problem sir just call me Sodak there's no problem with that!

*The admiral just nodded at what she said*

Adm Roberts: Very well then your all dismissed and oh Mary would you like to give Sodak here a tour of the base and meet some friends maybe bring her to Lex and Sara would be a good start wouldn't it?

Maryland: Sir with pleasure as she saluted bringing sodak outside of the office.
