It was early in the morning, and the sun was just starting to rise over the buildings in Tokyo. The orange and yellow light shown in through the curtains of your bedroom.

You groaned as the sun hit your eyelids, the warm rays of light making you irritated. You opened your eyes but instantly shut them due to the glaring sun shining through your window.

As you slowly started to wake up, you felt the sensation of arms wrapped around your torso. It took you a minute to realize who it was, and it made you smile slightly.

Groaning, you tried to sit up but the strong arms of your white haired boyfriend held you down. Chuckling, you pried his arms away slowly in an attempt to not wake him up, and it worked successfully.

Sitting up, you let out a yawn and stretched in a very unladylike manner. As you quit stretching you felt yourself get dizzy due to the blood rushing to your head. you let out a groan and slumped your shoulders.

Looking over at your phone, which rested on your nightstand, you grabbed it and checked the time and date.

8:45AM, Thursday Sept.5

'Ugghhh!!! It's to early!!'  You groaned and flopped back down on the mattress harshly, ultimately waking Kaneki up. He groaned at the movement of the bed and rolled onto his back.

Bringing his hands to his eyes, he rubbed them with the balls of his hands. Letting out a groan, kaneki stretched with his eyes shut tight and then sat in a slouched position. He held his head in slight pain "fuck..." he mumbled and rubbed his temples.

You smiled "well good morning to you too" he glanced at you through his hair and stuck his tongue out, pouting slightly.

You chuckled and squished his cheeks together "why are you so cute?" His cheeks slightly reddened and he glanced away from you, embarrassed.

"I hate you..." he mumbled. You scoffed "no you don't, if you did you wouldn't be here." you smirked matter-of-factly. He let out a puff of air through his nose and laid back down.

"I don't wanna get up...I just wanna stay here" he pushed his face into the pillows and closed his eyes

You pulled him away from the pillow and hugged him "c'mon ken we need to get up, I don't want to either but we made plans with Hinami remember?" You let out of laugh as he dramatically rolled his head back on your shoulder and looked up at you.

"Hi" you smiled and gave his nose a quick peck.

"You missed" he pointed to his lips "no I think I got it right" you began to give little kisses all over his face and you felt his cheek begin to warm up even more after every kiss.

He let out a laugh and tried to get away from you "stop! I'm ticklish!" You smirked "oh really?" He froze in place "no, Y/N no..." you let out an evil laugh and jumped on him and ran your fingers over his sides causing him to burst out with laughter, with little tears at the corner of his eyes.

"No! Y/N stop!" Kaneki continued to laugh as you continued to tickle him. "Never!" You let out a deep laugh, sounding like one of those knock-off 'villains' from the cartoons.

Kaneki put his hand on your face, doing his best to gently push you back . You stumbled a bit and landed on your back on the mattress.

You pouted and stuck your tongue out at him "meanie". He just rolled his eyes and moved to hover over you. Your cheeks turned a light shade of pink as you looked up at him.

He pressed his lips to yours for a few seconds before leaning on his elbows. "We should get up now" he gave you a sweet smile before pushing himself up and getting off the bed.

He walked to your shared closet and pulled out a black turtle neck and jeans. You smirked at him "wow, you're edgy" he just gave you a mocking, tight lipped smile before putting the shirt over his bare top half.

You got up from the bed and made your way over to him, wrapping your arms around his waist and resting your head on his shoulder.

"I love you" your voice was slightly muffled but Kaneki could still hear you.

His cheeks reddened but he smiled anyway.

"I love you, too"

I have no idea why this took me so long to write since it's so short but oh well.
