Kaneki twirled his pure white hairs around his finger.He was nervous to see you again, after these five long months.

He wouldn't blame you if you hated him.He was ready to get rejected.He thought that you wouldn't even go to 'your' place.You were so lovely.To him at least.

He remembered very well the first time you fought with someone about your opinion.He chuckled softly and rested his hand on his lap.Where were you?

"Kaneki?Is that you?"A softer tone from the voice he loved so much to hear came.

"(Y/N), thank you for coming."He turned to face you and he was stunned.

He asked you on the phone if you could wear a dress and he promised that he'll be wearing a suit.

"You look very beautiful."Kaneki said and took your hand, giving it a small kiss.

"You look handsome as well, Ken."He smiled.He felt his eyes watering and his body shaking.

"I-i, let's-let's just dance, shall we?"You frowned but still took the hand he was offering to you.

"What is it, Kaneki?"You asked and wiped his tears.He started moving from side to side with you.

Ken rested his head on your shoulder and took a deep breath.He tried to relax, but nothing was working for him.He tensed up more.

"I don't want to lose you.I don't want our story to end like a bad dream."He said and rubbed your palm with his thumb.

"So, how do you want it to end?Don't tell me it's something like the romantic books you were reading lastly."You both giggled at that and continue dancing.His hand now travelling to your waist from were it was before.It was near your shoulders.

And with just a bit of strengh, he lifted you up on the air, your dress flowing from the wind.The only light that helped you to see each other was the moonlight.

"What if i say yes?You know..."He stopped and turned you to look outside of the window.The full moon throwing light in the room.

"...Some books remind you of who you are and why you have to be there, in this world.They teach you to never give up and never forget that your life is important.Like Cinderella."He finished.

"Cinderella found her prince and he saved her."You said and Kaneki smiled at you.

"Yes, but...if she didn't go to the dance, if she wasn't brave enough, she wouldn't have found the prince."He said right after.

"In the end, it seems that if you find the right person, they complete you, like you complete them."You said once again, making him nod.

The night went on with you two slow dancing and humming softly.

Kaneki broke the silence, when he said in a small voice what he thought.

"But, does a monster like me, deserve a beauty like you?"His hand tightened on your own.

"Why not?Haven't you read beauty and the beast?"You moved both of your hands around his neck and his other joined the one on your back.

"Beauty and the beast?Yes, i was very young when i first read that."

"Do you believe in fairytales, Kaneki?"You stroked his cheek."Because if not, let's just make our own.Let's be those people that we never were.Let's not be...fake."He gave you a kiss on the forehead and you felt him smile.

"Do you trust me?"He asked and stared in your eyes.

"Yes, i do."

"Then...we will make it happen and never lose hope."With a kiss, you sealed your promise.

Two Years Later:

Everyone was crying because of the day.It was so different for them but they stayed the same all this time.The ghouls from Anteiku supported Kaneki, because they loved you as well.

"What-what am i going to do?"Kaneki asked his best friend, Hide.

"I can't help with that."Hide smiled through the tears.

Kaneki wiped his red eyes and grabbed the floors from the table.

"Let's go."They walked out and went to where the others were together.

"COME ON, SHE IS COMING!"Touka yelled and kicked them.

"YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED AND I AM MORE NERVOUS THAN YOU!"The others chuckled.

"(Y/N)!"You were standing in front of Ken, your wedding dress perfect and Yomo next to you, leading you to your beloved, soon to be, husband.

You walked up to him and grinned, making him grin back.

"Our own version of beauty and the beast, hmm?I will need to write that in a book."You laughed and continued your life beautifuly.
