Your life was very ordinary.Nothing strange happened all these years.You could say that the neighborhood you lived in was very safe.You've never heard from others to talk about ghouls, nor did they seem to care.

At least, you knew that you were safe and sound.But there was something missing.You couldn't live a fulfilled life with what you had.You needed something to happen.Life was too boring, to much to bear alone.These were your thoughts everyday when you left from your work.

Your house was near and you prefered to walk after sitting for the half of the day.

You sighed and let a small smile grace your chapped lips.The weather was 'crazy' these days.One day it was too hot, the other frozen cold.And today it was snowing.It made you smile happily as you watched all the beautifully shaped snowflakes fall on your black jacket.

You gribbed the jacket closer to your body and tried to stay under the shops rooftops.The splashing sound the wheels from the cars made you lean to the other side so you wouldn't get wet.

In the end, you made it home with only a few drops on your clothes and wet hair.You hoped that you didn't catch a cold.

"Where are my keys?"You asked yourself quietly.You searched inside your bag, but you didn't find anything.

"Seriously?Where ar-"You turned your head faster than you thought you could, just to see someone in a white hoodie kicking a white haired man, but he dodge it.He grabbed the thing the one with the covered face was holding, which you noted were your keys, and tackled him to the ground.

The one in the ground groaned in pain and held his stomach with one hand and the other was on his shoulder.

'The shoulder is out of it's place.'Your mind told you.You widened your eyes when you saw the white haired man walk up to you.

The first thing you noticed were his clothes.They were torn, scratched and they were hardly covering his skinny and bruiced body that was shivering.

You pouted at that and looked at his eyes.Even in the state he was in, his eyes were full of hope but not bright enough.You reached with your hands to ruffle his hair and rid him off the dust, but he moved away quickly.

He stared at you with a straight face and he stretched his arm and he took one of your hands in his.He opened your palm and gave you the keys.

"Excuse me, may i ask your name?"You said softly.He looked at you then he looked at the ground.He didn't speak for what seemed like hours.It was probably only minutes, but the snow turned into hail.It fell hard and you turned around to unlock the door.

When you were ready to call the grey-eyed man inside, there was no one outside.Just a small tail of blood and light footprints on the snow.You didn't think much about it and you closed the door behind, while showering in the warmth of the house.

You locked the door and went to your room.You closed the curtains and fell on the comfortable bed.You closed your eyes and grinned.Today wasn't that boring.

The next thing you knew after you woke up, was the rays of the sun passing through the curtains that were covering the big window that were falling on your face, making your eyes brighter than usual.

'I saw the weather and nobody said anything about a sunny day?'You shrugged your shoulders and fell again to sleep.

Some minutes later, you realised that you couldn't sleep again.You stood up and wore your clothes.'A day out wouldn't hurt, right?'.

When you opened the door, you saw that the snow was gone and you remembered the events from yesterday.You looked around for any sign of life from the man but there was none.

You groaned and left the place.While you were walking on the streets, you spotted a small, classic cafe in the corner.You smiled inwardly and jogged to it.

The door opened by a costumer that was thanking the waitress.She had purple shoulder length hair and she was dressed nicely.

She gave you a smile and show you to a table.

"What would you like to order?"She asked.You ordered your favourite drink.She wrote it on the notepad and bowed respectfully.

"I'll be back shortly."She left you with your thoughts.Your mind was still full of that boy, until the waitress came back and gave you your drink.

You finished quickly and walked back to your home.Five minutes before you reach your house, hard rain fell again, soaking you to the bone.

'Why now?'You thought and jogged to the door, but something stopped you.Dark grey eyes found yours.He pierced you with his gaze and you felt shivers up your spine.

Seconds later he seemed scared and tried to run away, but you were fast enough and you caught his arm.He stopped in his tracks and let a soft purr.

You looked at him weirdly.'What was that?'

"Hey, it's ok.Come inside with me.I will treat your wounds."You said softly and tugged him inside.He was hestitant at first.In the end, you made him comfortable and he came in with you.

You closed and locked the door.You turned around and glanced at the stranger.He reminded you of an angel.

"Do you always get in trouble?"He shrugged his shoulders and stared hard at the floor.You took everything you needed and treated all the cuts from his face and arms.

"Thank you, but...why are you helping me?"He curiously asked.

"Why wouldn't i?You helped me when i needed help, i will do the same for you."You smiled at him.

"But...i am a monster, living on the streets."He answered.

"Don't say that!You are not a monster."You comforted him.

"Yes, i am."He took off his 'hat' and a pair of cat ears were standing and twiching in front of you.You giggled and touched one.

"W-what are you d-doing?!"His big eyes became even bigger.

"These are adorable."You stroked them and let go after a while.

"What's your name?"You asked him.

"I-i am Kaneki...Kaneki Ken."He said.

"My name is (Y/N) (Y/L/N).Where do you live?"

"I don't have anywhere to go."You pouted and flicked his right ear.

"You can stay here, if you want to."He thanked you and said yes.You walked him to the guest room and told him to sleep after he took a bath and changed from the bloodstained clothes to some clothes that you bought from the men section, 'cause they're more comfortable.

"Thank you...(Y/N)."He bowed and walked in his room.

You smiled and said "Good night" loud enough for him to hear you.Maybe the next day will be easier.You went to your bed and fell asleep with a small smile adoring you face.Maybe...

Time Skip:

The next day was a bit awkward.You never lived with a stranger before, only with family members that visited you.

Time Skip (some months later.I'm sorry!):

Kaneki warmed up to you slowly.He trusted you more and he helped you withworks around the house.He never covered his ears when he was in the house and he smiled more often.

As for you, you have fallen in love with him.How was that possible?He was a stranger, a handsome one, but still.

"(Y/N)?Are you okay?Why are you staring at the cup?"His soft voice nearly made you throw the cup away.

"Oh?It's nothing.I was just thinking..."You answered his questions blandly.

Kaneki pouted and poked your cheek.

"Speak to me, (Y/N)."You sighed.

"Kaneki...i have something to tell you."Kaneki nobbed and waited.

"I...i think i l-like you..."You blushed and looked at the ground.

A gasp left Ken's lips and he covered his face.

"Really?I-I like you, but i didn't know how to te-"You cut him off with a peck on the lips and you too hugged tightly.

"Thank you.For making me feel loved and taking care of me.You mean so much!"He kissed your cheek and you ruffled his cat ears.

"Thank you too, Ken!"And you lived happily.

AN:Thank you for reading until the end.The truth is that it didn't end very well, it was rushed, but i had this waiting for so long, so i'm gonna post it.Maybe i will make it better in the future!Btw, today is my birthday!I'll update the other stories, maybe today or tommorow.Have a nice day/night and please, take care~
