I looked at the address on my phone and looked back up to the apartment number. Guess it's the right one.

I knocked, then waited. I heard a couple footsteps coming over to the door and when it opened I was greeted with a cute black-haired male. Probably no more than 18 years old or more.

"You ordered pizza right? I don't want this being the wrong house or I'll be embarrassed."

The man in front of me blushed a bit but nodded and scratched his head. "Y-yeah I did."

I opened the bag and took out the pizza he had ordered. "Are you okay? You look a little sick."

"H-huh? No...I'm not sick. It's just that..." He laughed nervously and turned around so that I couldn't see his front.

What? I tilted my head and entered the house to stand in front of him. He was really red that even I'm getting worried.

"You sure you're okay?"

He nodded. "Y-yes."

"Why are you as red as the pepperoni in this pizza?"

He laughed a little at the pun and closed the door, forgetting that I'm here to only deliver apparently.

"I'm only here to give you the pizza. If you're some sort of pervert then I might as well walk out." I placed the pizza on the table that I saw behind the boy and moved to walk the door, but the kid cautiously stopped me.

"A-ah...wait! S-sorry...I'm not a pervert..." He rubbed the back of his neck and his face was as hot as the oven when baking the pizza. "It's just that...I usually do that to my friends and...yeah..."

"I'm your friend now?" I tilted my head. He was strange. But cute. Cute but strange.

He started spluttering and I couldn't help but laugh during it. "N-no! I-I-I mean, ye- I don't know!" He messed up his hair and turned around, holding his burning face in his hands.

"It's okay." I laugh and pat his back. "And just because you're freaking out and acting cute, this pizza is free." 

He turned around and his flushed face looked concerned. "H-huh? I can't possibly just let it be free..."

I smiled and ruffled his hair. "It's okay. How old are you? You're too adorable for your own height and looks."

He blushed and scratched his cheek. "I-I'm 19."

Oh wow. I'm shocked. "Wow. We're not that far apart. I'm 17." 

"Oh. You're in high school?" 

I nodded and grinned. "Uh-huh! And I'm assuming you're in college?"

He nodded and I couldn't help but look at him more. He really was adorable...he probably has a girlfriend or something. I shook my thoughts away and walked over to his door. "Well, time to leave- ah, what's your name? It's...Kabeki...? Kei something."

He laughed a bit and opened his door for me. "Ken Kaneki...call me Kaneki."

I nodded and stepped out. I forgot I had my shoes on when coming in. Woops. I'm not used to this entire Japanese culture yet. I bowed and apologized. "Oh, sorry! I came in without taking off my shoes..." I straightened myself and Kaneki waved me off with a small smile. 

"It's okay. You don't look like you're from here...where are you from?" 

"America." I smiled and he looked a little surprised. "How do you know Japanese?"

"Well...I learned some before I came here and I learned more when coming over here." I scratched my head. "I'm not used to the culture, so sorry if I am 'disrespectful' at times."

"When did you come here?" 

I thought for a second. "Uh, a few months ago. I started working like...a few weeks ago."

"As a delivery girl?"

I winked and nudged him a little. "But I'm the hottest there is."

He started to awkwardly laugh and his face sizzled once again, his hand covering his face.

"I'm kidding." I laughed and held my hand out for a handshake, to which he accepted. "I'm going to go now, Mr. Kaneki. T'was a pleasure." As I was walking away, I heard him call out to me. 

"W-wait! C-can I get your email or number, by any chance?"

I turned to him and stared for a few before actually answering by coming up to him and holding out my hand. "Phone please."

He gave me his phone and I inserted my email, I'll give him my phone number later. I gave it back to him and grinned. "Bye bye."

I walked away now, not being able to hear Kaneki shut his door and scream.

I stared at his sent text and frowned a little bit. I'm not sure what it is, but I think I'm slowly starting to like the guy. I dunno though, it's only been not even a day since I've met him...

I put my phone down and plugged it in to charge, turning in my bed and getting comfy. I wasn't sure why, but every time I thought about Kaneki's cute face my heart always thumped in a weird way. I dunno what it is, but oh well. He's a fun guy to talk to, I want to know more about him tomorrow.

Goal 1: get to know him and his likes and dislikes.

It's been a little over a year since Kaneki and I have blossomed a friendship, a few days into the beginning of it I met his friend named Hide. He was a cute joyful ball of sunshine and whenever he was around it'd always brighten the day up for me and Kaneki.

I finally graduated high school and was finally 18 years old, Kaneki turning 20 a few weeks ago.

I wasn't sure what to do since I haven't gone to college yet—I'm going to where Kaneki's going fortunately—so for today I'm walking along the park with Kaneki and Hide by my sides.

"Yo (Y/n)! I want to talk to you for a second, if you don't mind." Hide grinned and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I had grown a bit more taller so I'm not "smol" anymore in my opinion, Kaneki and Hide say otherwise.

I shrugged and leaned on him. "I don't mind, what is it?" 

Hide looked at Kaneki and said, "Hey Kaneki, I'll be right back with (Y/n), 'kay?"

Kaneki sighed but nodded and went to go find a spot to sit at to wait it out until Hide and I came back.

Hide dragged me off and I wasn't sure what he wanted to talk about so I stopped him and took his arm off of me. "So what is it, Hide?"

"I've been wanting to ask you something for a very long time."

"And what may that be?" 

"Uh...do you like Kaneki?" 

I immediately nodded. Halfway into Kaneki and I's friendship, I finally realized my feelings for him but was always kept in the shadows about it. "Yup. Why?"

"Great! Because last night Kaneki he liked you, he's liked you ever since he saw you when you delivered him a pizza, I think..." He laughed. "I think that's kinda creepy."

I flicked his forehead. "Shush, as if you wouldn't have done that either."

He laughed again and linked his arm with mine. "You got that right."

I grinned and dragged Hide back to Kaneki. Hide's like my old brother, and he thinks of me as his little sister; it's a nice bond, really.

Kaneki was seen sitting alone on the bench playing with his phone, but when he saw us coming back he stood up and smiled. "Welcome back guys."

"Yeah, yeah. I gotta go now, though." Hide ruffled my hair and playfully punched Kaneki on the shoulder. "I have some hot babes to go see at on the TV." He grinned and walked away. "SEE YOU GUYS LATER, LOVE BIRDS!"

I blushed a little and Kaneki beside me turned really red, I almost thought he was going to die.

"Whoa, Kaneki, you okay?" I walked up to him and patted his cheeks. I cupped his cheeks and squished them. "Kaneki-chi~" 

"H-huh?" Kaneki looked at me with wide eyes but he later turned more red when he saw how I was trying to get his attention. "Y-yes?!"

"Wow, not so loud." I laughed and stared into his eyes. Hm. So he likes me huh? I moved his head a little bit closer to mine and waited to see any reaction, all I got was even more redness and I fear for him so I just moved forward myself and squished my lips onto his.

I felt his entire being stiffen under my hands, but I didn't mind. I could literally hear his heart beat, and it was really fast so I pulled back and breathed lightly while he breathed heavily. He was really flushed. 

"W-w-w-what was that?!" Kaneki grabbed my hands and lowered them, holding them in his own.

"Well, a certain friend told me you liked me, so I just wanted to see for myself if you did." I grinned and ruffled his hair.

He stuttered but then he found out who I was talking about and he groaned and muttered about how he's going to kill Hide himself. 

I laughed and wrapped my arms around his waist in a hug. I rested my chin on his shoulder and felt him get stiff again, but he eventually softened and wrapped his arms around my own waist. He was reluctant to touch his body with mine so I sighed and hugged him tighter and felt his heartbeat against my own chest.

"So now you know, huh?" He dryly laughed and let his forehead lay on my shoulder.

I nodded firmly. "Mm-hm. And I'm glad I do, because then it'd take me a while to confess to you some other way."

"Well...I love you, (Y/n)." He smiled and pulled back to look into my eyes. I smiled and pecked his nose, seeing him get a little red. He's so bashful it's cute.

"Course I love you too." I grinned and rubbed my nose against his. "You're so cute. I've actually never thought I'd fall in love with someone like you but I guess it works out."

"What do you mean like me?" He looked so confused that I just wanted to kiss him again but eh, it's public where I don't act all lovey dovey. 

"You're so different from me, that's why. But I love you anyways." 

Kaneki breathed a sigh of relief and let me go to hold my hands in his. "That's nice to hear... So...to make it official, will you be my girlfriend."

I nodded. "Of course I will, you smol baby."

He laughed adorably and looked down bashfully. "I'm glad, you smol child."

We both laughed and Kaneki decided to bring something up before we went for a walk. "So...what would you have done if Hide didn't tell you my feelings?"

"To confess? Uh, I'd probably give you a pizza and make it in the shape of a heart or something with piece of pepperoni spelling out 'I love you'." I laughed and Kaneki only let out a few of them.

"You're so cheesy, (Y/n)."

"You're whole life is cheesy, Kaneki."

"Not as cheesy as the pizza you first gave me."

"Shush."

O H WOW IT'S BEEN YEARS HELLO GUYS :D I've been working on my other fanfiction for this anime called Your Lie in April so I'm sorry for the incredible delay :( I have other requests to do but they're still open if you want to suggest anything :):):)
