Kuro!neki

I saw Kaneki just standing in the middle of the living room, trying to find a good channel on TV, but stopped when I jumped onto his back and wrapped my legs and arms around him, happily cheering with, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Kaneki almost dropped me from the fright but he kept holding onto the back of my thighs so that I wouldn't get hurt. He breathed a sigh, saying, "Jesus, (Y/n) don't jump on me like that! You know how scared I can get!"

I laughed and jumped off him, turning him around so that I can hug him tightly and sway with him in place. "You're getting old, Kaneki."

Kaneki sighed and wrapped his arms around me. He laid his cheek on my head. "Sadly, yes."

I giggled and moved myself up to peck his lips. I grinned and looked into his eyes. "At least, I'm still young."

"You're not any younger, you're just 3 years younger than me."

I kissed his cheek and bounded off to his couch to lay down, tiredly sighing. "You are correct. We've been dating for, what, 4 years?"

Kaneki shrugged and sat down where my feet were, picking them up and placing them on his lap. He smiled. "I guess so."

"Hm."

"So..." Kaneki leaned back on his couch and massaged my feet while looking at my relaxed face, "did I get a present?"

I nodded.

"W-where is it?"

I smiled and sat up, moving my feet off his lap and crawled up to sit on his lap instead. I cheekily grinned and kissed him for a few seconds before moving back and saying, "Your present is my existence."

Kaneki just stared at me, but then he slowly started laughing. He kissed my nose and hugged me to his chest. "Ah. One of the best gifts ever."

"You bet your flat ass it is. I come with an expensive price, and luckily for you you were able to get me.

Kaneki laughed and nuzzled my cheek with his nose. "I'm glad."

Shiro!neki

Kaneki was asleep on our bed, but I knew he wouldn't mind if I woke him up with a little surprise. Particularly, on this day. His birthday.

Kaneki turned on his side, and since I was right beside him, his bare back was facing me. I grinned and turned onto my side as well, sliding my arms around his waist. I pressed myself up against him and threw a leg over his, sliding a hand down to the waistline of his sweatpants before whispering, "Happy birthday," into his ear.

Kaneki woke up when he felt my hand at the spot it's at right now and stretched slightly, turning around to pin me down and straddle my waist. He spoke with a groggy voice saying, "You remembered?"

I smiled and reached up to run my fingers through his adorable bedhead. His voice was already hot as it is, his morning voices just gives me more of a feeling. "Of course I did, babe."

Kaneki smirked and softly pressed his lips to my forehead, moving over to my cheeks before landing on my lips. He moved his lips with mine for a few before pulling back a little to say, "That's right, we've been together for over 2 years..."

I smiled again and tangled my fingers in his hair, bringing him down for another kiss before breathing out, "And forever more."

Kaneki grunted and moved so that he was back on the bed and I was over him, my legs straddling his hips as he flicked his tongue against my top lip before he brought me closer and fiercely started to make-out with me.

Sure we've made out a lot, but being able to feel his toned body and kiss him at the same time threw me over the top.

My white haired boy tried to grind up against me, but I stopped him and pulled away teasingly. "Ah-ah-ah." I grinned innocently and patted his chest a few times. "You're not getting your present this early."

Kaneki's eyes brightened a little. "Wait, so is sex my present today?"

I shrugged. "Maybe. Depends on how you act."

Kaneki sat up and pecked my lips. "I'll be good today, promise."

I laughed and got off of him. "You better. If you are, I'll let you do absolutely anything you want with me."

Kaneki got hyped up. "DEAL!"

Aka!neki

Kaneki was, of course, working on his work for the CCG, despite it being his birthday. His squad told him to stay home with me, but even after all that he didn't stop trying to work. It really annoyed me how he works nonstop, he hardly pays any attention to me even when I need him most.

He was huddled up in his small office that I had made for him at our house, writing down on papers and staring off into the distance at times. Occasionally, I'd see him mess with his gloved hand and glasses.

Truthfully, I was kind of scared to say anything to him. I don't know if he was in Ina bad or good mood, when he's in a bad mood everything goes bad. To be on the safe side, I knocked on the open door.

Kaneki tuned his head and when he saw me he just turned back to his desk, muttering a flat, "Come in."

I walked over to him and kneeled on the ground beside his chair, resting my arms on the desk away from his papers. "So...you still working?"

"Of course I am, what do you think I'm doing?" he spat out. He sighed and took off his glasses to rub his face. "I don't like to work but I have to."

"You know, today you don't have to. You got permission from pretty much everyone to take a break." I tentatively reached out to grab his gloved hand. When he didn't retract, I knew he was in an okay mood. "Take a break."

Kaneki shook his head and removed his hand from mine to pat the back of it instead, some form of affection in his world. "It's fine."

I shook my head and laid my head on his lap, looking up at him with the side of my face laying on his thighs. "Happy birthday."

Kaneki sighed and paid no attention to me as he went back to paying attention to his papers. "At least you remembered."

I just frowned and moved up to rub my cheek on his crotch area, leading him to grab my hair and push me back to his thighs. We've had sex before, made love at least once, so this isn't a surprise or anything to him.

"Stop, (Y/n). I'm trying to work." His voice was loud, but it didn't sound hostile and it made me so relieved to know he wasn't in a bad mood. Maybe his birthday this year would go well if he actually stopped working, though. 

I didn't want to sound too whiny, he hated that, but I at least tried to sound persistent. "Please? For me?"

Kaneki was going to retort, but he looked away and shut up. Last time he shot back because I asked him to take a break he really hurt my feelings, which had lead to an almost-breakup. He sighed and pushed away from the desk, making me fall to the floor. He stood up and picked me up before ruffling my (h/c) hair. "Fine."

I breathed a gasp and grinned brightly, tackling him in a hug that almost threw him off the floor. "YAY THANK YOU!"

"Don't yell!" Kaneki groaned and pulled back after briefly hugging me back and stiffly kissed my mouth. "Jeez."

I pouted. "You suck at affection."

He stared at me with a glare before trying to walk away, but I had my arms tightly around his waist. "Nice to know." 

I smiled cheekily and pressed my lips to his, kissing him until he slowly started to kiss me properly. After that was done, I pulled away and looked into his dead eyes. I internally sighed. Ever since Kaneki has been like this, I couldn't help but miss Haise. But sadly, Haise's gone and Kaneki is apparently back. I didn't even know there was a Kaneki until he had come home, entirely different.

I was going to mention about how he was in a good mood...but...I don't know if that will bring him down to a bad mood so I kept quiet and just bounced around in his lean arms.

"So where's my present?" 

I slowly grew a grin and pecked his neck before burying my face into it. "Hmm...anything you want. Really, even if it means you don't want me to be around you. Just don't ask to work."

Kaneki grunted and softly rubbed my back. "Fine. Today is a work-free day. And...truthfully, I want you with me today. Can the present just be a relaxing day in bed?"

I eagerly nodded and dragged him over to our room, falling onto the bed and sliding under the covers as I waited for Kaneki as he took off his shirt to lay down beside me. While he situated himself under the covers and finally held me for the first time in what felt like years, I started to think that maybe this was my own birthday present. 

Kaneki closed his eyes and I laid my head on his firm chest, tracing my fingers along his slight abs. He spoke quietly. "It may not seem like it—like at all—but I do love you, (Y/n). Even as I was Haise...inside...I love you like how he used to show love for you." Kaneki pulled me tighter against him. "Thanks...for...being there by my side even though I've treated you like shit and threw you over the edge  all those months ever since my return."

I softly smiled and kissed his chin. I snuggled up against his chest and breathed out in bliss, finally glad to know the truth and finally getting more from the question I had wanted to ask. "I love you too, Kaneki. I'm sticking with you forever, until you really start to hate me."

"I doubt I'll ever really hate you...I just have some anger issues nowadays." Kaneki slowly started drifting off to sleep. "I'm sleepy..."

"Sleep, you need it...and...Happy birthday, Kaneki, once again."

D: uh, i took forever to update sorry. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BBY THO BLESS HIM FOR EXISTING DX. And if you ask why I didn't add Haise, his birthday is April 2nd :P Just in time for the end of the day, it's almost 11 pm :)
