It was 7pm and Krishna was bored at home!
His client call was done and the house was unusually silent without his wife and kids.
He wasnt used to this eerie silence; he decided to call Ramya. He knows she was angry when she left and was prepared for a verbal battle.

K:"Hey Ramya! Padam mudinjudha? Enga irkeenga, edha restaurant poirukeengala?"

R:*silence*

K:(smiling) "Seri seri, nee kovamaa iruka nu theriyum. Scene podama badhil sollu.. endha restaurant la irkeenga elaarum?"
Ramya suddenly hands over the phone to Rakshan.

Rak:"Appaaaa, padam semma super pa. Mufasa vaa paakumpodhu laam nee dhaan enaku nyabagam vandha. Cha po, you missed it!" and goes on and on explaining various different scenes from The Lion King.

Krishna's mindvoice: "Appadiye avan ammavoda vaai.. gap vidaama naa kekarena ilayaa nu kuda yosikama pesi thallaraan!"

K: "Dei dei, un vayasu irkumpodhe naa indha padatha paathuten da.. Paatha padathuku thirumba trailera otaama amma kita phone aa kudu da! Amaa.. enga irkeenga ipo?"

Rakshan is a little disappointed that his dad wasnt interested in his story.
"Haaan.. saravana bhavan dhaan. Nee amma kitaye pesu..po" he handed back the phone, switching on the speaker, to Ramya with a sad pout.

K:"Hey, pesite irukumpodhu en d phone aa avan kita kudutha? Inumma un kovam korayala! Vara vara too much aa pora d nee.."

Ramya gestures Latha to take over saying shes not talking to him in sign language

Latha sighs and interuppts : "Krishna... unaku theriyadha avala pathi! Speaker la thaan potrukom, solu, edhaa mukyamaana vishayama?"

K:"Sutham! Seri, varumpodhu enaku edhaa takeout vaangitu vaangalen! Romba pasikudhu! Saravana Bhavan dhaane sonna? Enaku oru channa bhatura parcellllll"

R: "Adhaan upma pani stove mela vechutu vandhen la.. adha saapadlayaa nee?!" added Ramya hastily and hit on her forehead saying "cha! naadhaan pesamaaten la!?"

Kriya and Rakshan smiled at each other mischievously.

K: "Epdi pesa vechen paathiya?! hahaha Krishna va kokka?! Hey upma laam manushan saapduvaana d! enaku oru parcel mariyaadhaya vaangitu vara. Latha... ava ipdidhaan edhaa solitu irupaa, nee ena panra,enaku oru parcel order panidu".

L: "Seri seri adhulaam naa paathukaren. Bye"

Krishna had a huge grin as he could imagine how Ramya would be reacting now for talking to Krishna.
"Pasanga rendum padathuku poi kadhai solara alavuku valandhutaanga, iva inum valarave illa! Loosu!" he thought to himself and laughed!

Suddenly his phone rang!
"Ramani amma" the display showed.
Ks Mind Voice : "Ayoyo, Ramani amma ipo edhuku call panraanga? Indha Aravindh naala nalladhu nadakudho ilayo, vaarathuku oru merattal call vandhudum!"

K:(faking a happy voice) "Helloo Ramani amma!! Naane koopadnum nu nenachute irundhen, correcta neenga kooptuteenga."

R.A: "Dei... indha velai dhaane enkita venangardhu! Nee enaku phone podanumnu nenachiya?! Idha naan nambanuma?!"

K:"Ponga Ramanimaa, ungalku epovume nakkal dhaan. Epdi irkeenga. Uncle nalla irkaara?"

R.A: "Rendu perum usuroda dhaan da irukom. En pera pullaingala adikadi paakanum pola iruku, veetuku varadha unaku idea ve ilaya? Nee seri pattu vara maata, nee Ramya kita phone aa kudu, avakitta naa pesikaren"

K:"Ava, pasangaloda cinema ku poiruka. Naanga adutha weekend kandippa ungala vandhu paakarom. Ipo happya?"

R.A: "Enga happy!? Aravindhu nenachu kavala paduradhe en vaazhkaya poidumo nu bayama irku da Krishna".
She starts her complain train and Krishna's ears start filtering everything.

Just then Ramya and the kids enter. Krishna sees Ramya, smiles and hugs the kids as they come running to him while balancing the phone between his shoulder and ears- still not concentrating on what Ramani Amma was talking about.

Ramya looks with a questioning eyebrows as if she wanted to ask who was on the phone, but doesnt communicate further.

"RA-MA-NI AMMA" Krishna mouths to her.
She comes to him hands over the food parcel and whispers "Latha unkita kuduka sonna.. naa unkita pesanum  ngrathukaagalaam idha kuduka varala by the way" she twitched her lips and went back to the bedroom with an one-sided smile.

K: "Adhaana paathen! Raatchasi ku odane kovam poiducho nu"

R.A: "dei, ena da posukkunu enna raatchasi nu sollita" yelled Ramani Amma inbetween her complaint session!
