Kanan's pov

Ezra and I woke up early to do training. I told him waking up at this time will refresh him. He didn't agree with me, but still woke up.

When we went outside, the sun was not even up yet.

"Ok, today we will be deflecting blaster shots. It will be put to stun so it won't hurt you." I say.

"It will still hurt Kanan, but it won't leave a wound." Ezra says.

I roll my eyes. "Anyways, here is my light saber."

I hand my light saber to Ezra and he looks disappointed. "When will I ever get my own?"

"When you are ready." I say. Ezra rolls his eyes and activates the saber.

I shoot at him and he misses. He keeps missing for a few minutes and he looks annoyed.

"Ezra you need to focus. Have the force be on your side, not against you." I say.

"I'm trying Kanan." Ezra says.

"Do or do not, there is no try." I say.

Ezra groans. "That's like the millionth time you said that."

I sigh and continue shooting at him. He blocks a few, but I could tell from his yawns in between the shots that he is tired.

"Why don't we end training from here and rest." I say.

Ezra doesn't even hesitate to hand me back my saber and run inside. It looked like he was in a rush.

He must be really tired.

Time Skip

I was meditating in my room when I heard someone knocking on my door.

"Come in." I say and the door opens to reveal Hera.

"Kanan can we talk for a second?" She asks.

"Sure, what is it?" I ask.

"It's about Ezra." She says in a worried tone.

That suddenly brought my attention. "What's going on with him?"

"He keeps talking to someone when nobody's there." She says.

That's strange. I just saw him this morning and he seemed fine.

"What could be happening to him?" I ask.

"Maybe Ezra is feeling lonely. When you see people who aren't really there, it's called imaginary friends." Hera says.

I'm gonna have to talk to Ezra about this later. "Thanks Hera."

"No problem, and please make sure he's alright." She says and walks out of my room.

"I will." I say and go into the common room.

I see only Zeb in here. I thought Ezra would be in here too, but right now I'll talk to Zeb first.

"Hey Zeb? Since you share a room with Ezra, can you tell me what exactly he is saying to his imaginary friend?" I ask.

"The kid doesn't really talk to his imaginary friend around me that much. I'm sure it's nothing." Zeb says.

That's when Ezra comes rushing into the room looking for something.

"Ellie? I can't find you. Stop hiding from me." Ezra says looking under the table and leaving right after.

"My mistake. The kid has a problem." Zeb says rubbing the back of his neck.

"He doesn't have a problem. At least now we know the name of his friend." I say hopeful.

"Well, I'm going back to bed." Zeb says going to his room.

I was about to find Ezra to talk to him, till he came running through the door.

"Ellie!!!!! Stop running away from me!!!" He shouts playfully.

Before he could run past me, I grab him. "Woah Ezra slow down."

"Sorry, its just Ellie keeps running away from me on purpose." Ezra says.

"Can you tell me a little bit about Ellie?" I ask him.

He nods and we sit down on the couch.

"She is very funny. She also loves to prank people." Ezra says.

"Interesting. Is there anything else?" I ask.

"Well......I can't tell you anything else." Ezra says with a frown.

"Why not?"

"Because I promised her I wouldn't." He says.

"Ezra can I ask you something?" I ask him.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Are you still feeling alone?" I ask. He looks at me confused.

"No why would I feel alone? I have you guys and Ellie." Ezra says cheerfully.

"But Ezra.....I'm sorry to say this, but Ellie isn't real." I say.

"Yes she is." He says.

"None of us see her. Only you do. She's your imaginary friend." I say.

Ezra shakes his head. "She's my best friend. She is real!!!"

"Ezra!!!! Ellie doesn't exist!!! You gotta learn that!!!" I shout.

"No!!! You're wrong!!! YOU'RE WRONG!!!!" He shouts while tears form in his eyes.

Ezra then runs away from me and straight to the bathroom.

I immediately chase after him and try to open the door.

"Ezra I'm sorry. Please open the door." I say while hearing sobs coming from the bathroom.

I really messed up. I didn't mean to yell at him. I'm just worried about all of this. I hope he will get passed this whole imaginary friend thing.

I then walk into my room leaving Ezra alone.

Ezra's pov

I ran into the bathroom so Kanan wouldn't see me cry.

Right away, Ellie appears by my side with a sad look on her face.

"Are you ok Ezra?" She asks me.

"Did you *sniff* hear all of that?" I ask while crying.

"Yes I did. Come here." She says with her arms open.

I don't hesitate to go to her feeling myself being wrapped into a warm embrace. I lean my head on her shoulder melting into more tears.

"It's ok.....it's ok." She cooed while rubbing my back.

"Why doesn't *sniff* Kanan see you? Are you *sniff* really imaginary?" I ask.

"I'm not imaginary Ezra. They can't see me because I'm not meant to be seen." Ellie says.

"Why not? You're amazing." I say.

She chuckles. "I know but remember what I told you. Nobody's suppose to see me because I'm dead. But you can."

I nod and wipe my tears away. "You won't leave me right?"

"Never, and how could I? I could hear your whiny voice from a mile away." She says and we both laugh.

We both then break out of the embrace. "Thanks Ellie."

"No problem Ezra. Now where is Kanan? I wanna beat him up." She says while her hands form to fists.

Great, now the tough Ellie is unleashed......

"Please don't actually beat him up." I say.

"Then what should I do for his punishment?" She asks.

"How about another one of our famous pranks......." I say.

That's when Ellie smirks and we immediately have a plan.

Kanan's pov

After a few hours, I checked on Ezra to see if he was ok. He seemed to calm down and forgive me. But he looked like he was hiding something.

We are now in the common room with Hera and Chopper. Ezra was reading a magazine while I was looking for my light saber.

"Hera have you seen my light saber?" I ask interrupting her from fixing Chopper.

"No did you check your room?" She asks me.

"Yes for the hundredth time. Ezra have you seen it?" I ask turning to him.

He shakes his head. "Haven't seen it since training."

I then look through all the cabinets in the common room till I finally find it. But........

It was in jello. (This prank is from "The Office". A show on Netflix that is sooo funny!!!)

"Who did this?" I ask angrily.

"Did what?" Hera asks me. I show her my light saber in the jello and she starts to laugh.

"It's not funny. How did this even get in here?!?!?" I shout taking my saber out of the jello.

"Ezra did you do this?" I ask him. But when I saw him, he was eating jello.

"No...." He asks with a smirk.

"Why would you do this?" I ask knowing it was him.

"How do you know it was me?" Ezra asks while eating the jello.

"YOU'RE EATING......." I calm myself down. "Ezra some people talk things out when they are mad. They don't put things in jello!!!"

He nods. "Yeah I'm pretty sure I said enough." Ezra then points at the jello and walks out with a smirk.

I could've sworn on the way out, he was high fiving someone who wasn't even there.
