4 Times Kaminari's friends gave him their hoodies
Summary: 4 times Kaminari's friends gave him their hoodies.
Kirishima
Kirishima rubbed the sleep away from his eyes as the elevator doors slid open. It was one of those restless nights where his brain was refusing to give in to sleep. He did what he could in his dorm, but he decided that a walk would relax him.
He walked through the empty living room, looking out the large windows. If He looked closley, he could see hound dog circling the dorms. He was so focused on the outside that he almost didn't notice the whimpering noise. Almost.
He turned around to face the unoccupied room. Was the sound coming from one of the dorms? No, the dorms were all on the next floor. He studied the room closer, then he noticed it. Curled up in the green couch was the familiar baby blue blanket that the Bakusquad handed off to one another.
Kirishima hesitated for a moment, not wanting to inturrupt.
No, he thought, it would be unmanley to let anyone, especially a close friend, suffer.
He passed softly over to where the blanket was, gently placing a calloused hand on the soft material. Soft sobs came from under the blanket. Kirishima found the end of the blanket, pulling It up so he could poke his head in the little cave. Messy, electric yellow hair brushed his nose, tickling him.
Kirishima smiled softly in reassurance before pulling the blanket back even more. His friend lay in the fetal position, tears wetting the couch cousions.
Kirishima had never seen Kaminari cry before, because all in all, he seemed like a pretty stable dude. But they all had their troubles, so he didn't pry.
"Kami" he whispered, opening his arms out. Kaminari melted in his hold, crying into his shoulder. Kirishima remained stable, a rock for his friends sorrow.
Suddenly an idea lit up in his brain.
"Kami" he put his hand on the others chin, pulling his face up so he could see his puffy golden eyes. "Do you wanna wear my hoodie?"
The others eyes widened before his lips weakly tilted upwards.
Kirishima pulled off his Crimson Riot hoodie, pulling it over Denki. The electric quirk user didn't bother pulling his arms through the arm holes, only letting his head poke out of the new source of comfort. He leaned back into his friends chest, sniffling.
Kirishima carded his hands through Kaminari's hair, humming soothingly.
The two never talked about the incident the next day, only hugging a little longer than normal in the morning.
Bakugo
Bakugo was making breakfast in the kitchen, a few others laying around on the couch, procrastinating about not wanting to get ready for school.
"Hey, guys?" Someone asked, the voice unfamiliar to Bakugo's ears. It was deep and congested. "H-has anyone seen my h-hoodie?" *Sniffle*
Bakugo turned around from the toaster to tell whoever it was to go the fuck back to bed. Because they sounded terrible.
Kaminari stood there in his PJ's, eyes puffy, and nose rubbed raw. Well shit.
There was a beat before a collective no came from everyone in the commons.
Kaminari looked down in dissapointment, sniffling a little.
Bakugo just turned back to his toast, placing it on the plate. Wasn't his problem. He buttered the toast, once he was satisfied with the evenly spread butter, he put it back in the fridge. He moved to go upstairs to his room.
Once everyone was settled in their seats for class to start, Aizawa strolled in. He started his lecture on the hero training they would be doing that day, but Bakugo pointedly ignored it.
An onslaught of pitiful sneezes bought his attention to Kaminari. The blonde shivered in his seat, drawing his arms closer to himself. The lesson continued, Kaminari only interrupting as least as he possibly could. Katsuki could tell that he was holding back coughs every minute.
He tapped his desk impatiently, slightly annoyed by the interruptions. Whatever, not my fucking problem.
Aizawa left the room after the lesson, some classmates turning to talk amongst themselves until Present Mic would burst in.
Bakugo gritted his teeth before looking back.
Kaminari shivered some more, quietly coughing into his arm. That dipshit had a cold. After another painful string of sneezes later, and Bakugo slammed his fist to his desk, shooting a glare to Denki.
"Stop fucking sneezing, it's annoying." He growled out, standing up to move to the blondes desk.
"I'm sorry Kacchan" he struggled to pronounce, his congestion sounding worse than it was that morning. Bakugo didn't miss how he drew in on himself.
"You pitiful bastard" Bakugo started pulling off his scull hoodie, wearing his uniform under it. He threw his hoodie harshly to Denki's face. Kaminari pulled it off, looking shocked.
"Close your mouth before you catch flies Pikachu."
He closed his mouth.
"But Bakubro, this is your hoodie." He started handing it back, but his tone deceived him. He was cold, and he needed the warmth. Bakugo snatched it, forcefully pulling it over his head.
" Don't get your shitty sick germs all over it. " he grumbled, stomping back to his seat. Kaminari looked on with shock before smiling brightly, snuggling into the too large hoodie.
Mina
Mina giggled as Bakugo flipped them off for the fiftieth time that day. Sometimes it just never got old screwing with him. Her and Sero shot each other looks before continuing with the merciless assault of words. All in all it was a pretty normal day.
After the test they found out that they had all passed, they walked to the ice cream shop as a celebration after getting permission from Aizawa, if course. They forced Bakugo to pay for them all.
Ashido knew he was a big softie.
The moment she said that he threatened her with a warning glare, holding her ice cream up so that she couldn't reach it. She huffed and stomped her foot, the others laughing at her.
It was always fun to butt heads with Bakugo, her and Kaminari were really the only ones who pushed it. Sero and Kirishima only stopping him from Killing them.
"You are the Bain of my existence." He muttered, looking at her and a grinning Kaminari, who only batted his eyelashes in innocence.
"Don't act like that, you know what you did. "
They decided to walk back only after shoving ice cream cones on Kaminari's head, proclaiming him a unicorn. Bakugo sat in the background laughing at his cruel fate. "Guuuyyyss" he wined "why does it always have to be me! Why not Bakugo!"
" Becuase" Bakugo snorted "your face is punchable, and I would kill them. "
The others backed away with sheepish smiles as Kaminari went to the restroom to struggle to get the stain off of his shirt, and to get the ice cream to stop dripping down his face.
When he got back, he looked like a wet puppy. "Stop pouting sparkplug." Bakugo walked ahead of the group, Kirishima spouting nonsense to him.
" Yeah dude, all's fair in our prankwar. " Sero added.
"But it not funny, I'm cooolllddd. " Denki moaned, teeth chattering.
Mina sighed before shrugging off her pink fuzzy hoodie. She threw in to Denki, who grinned at her. "I knew someone was on my side!"
"That's where you thought wrong, I simply don't want my lackey to die." She proclaimed, a bit to loud. This earned some odd looks from walkers. When Bakugo made eye contact, they averted their eyes. Kirishima told Bakugo to lay off on scaring away little kids.
Kaminari pulled the fluffy hoodie over himself, not caring if it was pink. Suprisingly, it actually fit him perfectly.
And when strangers gave Kaminari crude looks, the whole squad would scare them away with seething looks.
Sero
Ectoplasm handed out their math test that Kaminari had stayed up all night for the past three nights to study for. He twitched nervously as Ojiro passed the test back to him. With shaky hands he passed it back to Kirishima.
He was doomed to be stupid, he had decided at a young age. His mind never let him focus, the words and numbers floating off of the page. Sometimes he would try to reach for them, but that took more effort than it should have.
The familiar dark wave of anxiety pooled at the bottom of his gut, tears threatening to escape from his eyes. He bit his lip in attempt to focus on the test.
He struggled through it, the amount symbols on the page blurred His vision, making him dizzy. He pushed through, but couldn't bring himself to go back over the answers that he knew were wrong.
After turning it in, he placed his head on the desk, stray tears escaping his eyes. It was over now. There was a soft tap on his shoulder, Kaminari furiously rubbed the tears from his eyes before emerging from his desk.
Kirishima smiled softly before handing off a white hoodie to him. "Its from Sero. He told you to take a nap."
Kaminari sniffled, pulling the hoodie over him, burying his head in the sleeves for comfort.
His anxiety was later dissipated when he was wrapped in a hug, another voice telling him to keep wearing the hoodie if it helped him.
