Minato Kurenai is a son of Masao Kurenai (紅 正夫 Kurenai Masao) and the grandson of Wataru Kurenai (紅 渡 Kurenai Wataru). He is also a childhood friend of Ayumu Uehara (上原 歩夢 Uehara Ayumu), whom he always stands by her side, including stand up against a certain bully during their time at kindergarten. They are inseparable since then.

In the present day, Minato was well-known around the world and become the famous violinist, gaining many admirers as a result, mainly the girls. Then, he was eventually become the only male student of Nijigasaki High School (虹ヶ咲学園 Nijigasaki Gakuen) when he was transferred from Tokyo University of the Arts (東京藝術大学 Tōkyō Geijutsu Daigaku) under the request of his childhood friend.

Unknown to everyone else, he was secretly transformed into Kamen Rider Kiva (仮面ライダーキバ Kamen Raidā Kiba) and hunt down the Fangire Kingdom (ファインガイア王国 Fangaia Ōkoku) alongside the new Checkmate Four (チェックメイトフォー Chekkumeito Fō) and Wonderful Blue Sky Organization (素晴らしき青空の会 Subarashiki Aozora no Kai). This was his reason of fighting to protect Ayumu and those dears to him from harm.

Because of his inherited shyness from his great grandfather, Minato was described as a cute and attractive young man by most of the girls, including the Aqours and μ's, much to his embarrassment. Like the rest of the Kurenai family, he displays his great likeness towards the music, especially the violin that he likes most. When the Bloody Rose alerts him of the Rogue Fangire's violent attack, he adopts a calm and serious personality as he prepares to battle against them to protect those dears to him and the Fangires who co-existed with them.

His dream is to make everyone happy with his own music and to create his own ultimate violin just like his great grandfather has.

Like his grandfather, he always conducts an experiment with various odd ingredients in order to create ultimate varnish for the ultimate violin like his great grandfather, which caused many to make it as the subject of ridicule, even Ayumu felt disturbed by it.

A unique violin, the Bloody Rose (ブラッディ・ローズ Buraddi Rōzu) was created by his great grandfather and great grandmother as the "ultimate violin", later rumored to be a product of his great grandfather selling his soul to the devil himself, which is not entirely false, in a sense.

The Bloody Rose only sounds whenever a violent Rogue Fangire is detected in the area, its music only heard by Kivat and Minato, who hears it as a voice commanding him to "Fight", as it pinpoints the exact location the Rogue Fangire could be found. When played, the Bloody Rose can also disrupt a Rogue Fangire's activity.

The Kivat-bat the 3rd (キバットバットⅢ世 Kibattobatto Sansei) is Minato's companion and partner. Kivat-bat the 3rd used to be a partner of his grandfather before the latter passed down his power to his grandson.

As a Kivat, he possesses Demon Imperial Powers like the Active Force (アクティブフォース Akutibu Fōsu) which he can infuse into others by biting with his Active Fangs (アクティブファング Akutibu Fangu) which summons the Kivat Belt where he is then placed upon for the transformation into Kiva. He is also able to blow on Fuestles to summon items or other things like Castle Doran. His eye color changes depending on what form Kiva is in. While seemingly unable to add nearly as much Demonic Power as his father can (although this is probably because of the Katena Chains that are used due to Minato's half Fangire nature rather than Kivat himself), Kivat-bat the 3rd can borrow the strength of others to add more power onto Minato to the point where he may even surpass Kamen Rider Dark Kiva.

Aside from being Kiva's power source, Kivat possesses a secret technique called Kivat Cutter (キバットカッター Kibatto Kattā) with his Lucifer Gold adorned Kivat Wings (キバットウイング Kibatto Uingu) which can cut through opponents.

Kivat-Bat the 3rd is composed of the following parts:

　・Demon Imperial Stone (魔皇石 Maōseki) - A green stone on his forehead. It is a family jewel that has been passed down across generations of Kivat-Bats. According to Kivat-Bat the 3rd, it is a memento of his grandfather.

　・Kivat Scope (キバットスコープ Kibatto Sukōpu) - The eyes. While it is usually red, it will change color when under the influence of surrounding forces (for example, it will turn green in Kiva's Bassha Form). The eyes actually have poor eyesight, and Kivat usually perceives his surrounding by using his ears.

　・Active Fang (アクティブファング Akutibu Fangu) - The teeth. When is bitten, demonic power enters the body via the Active Fangs, enabling transformation. In addition, it can chew a weapon to infuse it with power, allowing Kiva to deal deathblows.

　・Kivat Maws (キバットマウス Kibatto Mausu) - The jaws. It is extremely strong, and has a "chin power" on 1 ton. The taste of sense is extremely developed, turning Kivat into some sort of gourmet. As a result, Kivat is an expert in gastronomy, even though he has not yet eaten multiple types of food.

　・Kivat Persona (キバット・ペルソナ Kibatto Perusona) - The golden mask pn the face, it is a family heirloom passed down across generations of Kivat-Bats. It is cast of Lucifer Gold (ルシファーゴールド Rushifā Gōrudo), a magical metal that boasts enough strength to repel magnum bullets.

　・Kivat Sonar (キバットソナー Kibatto Sonā) - The ears. It emits supersonic waves, allowing Kivat to perceive his surroundings, as well as communicate with Kiva from a long distance. It can obtain information from 50km away.

　・Kivat Claws (キバットクロー Kibatto Kurō) - The feet. It has a grip strength of 500 kg. The Kivat Claws are used to Kivat Belt's perch on the Power Roost.

　・Kivat Wings (キバットウイング Kibatto Uingu) - The wings. When fully deployed, they allow Kivat to fly up to 70km/hr. They are decorated with Lucifer Gold.

　・Wing Claws (ウイングクロー Uingu Kurō) - The metal claws on the tips of the Kivat Wings. They are made of the same Lucifer Metal (ルシファーメタル Rushifā Metaru) that Kiva's armor is composed of, and are extremely sharp, making them ideal piercing weapons when swooping at opponents.

Kivat Belt

Kivat Belt (w/Kivat-Bat the 3rd and Fuestles)

The Kivat Belt (キバットベルト, Kibatto Beruto) is Minato's means of transforming into Kiva. To summon and use the belt, Kivat-Bat the 3rd says "Let's Go Kiva!" (キバッて、行くぜ！ Kibatte, Ikuze!) as Minato catches him in his right hand and then Kivat bites Minato's free hand, causing his Fangire nature to surface as the belt materializes out of several ghostly chains.

Minato then perches Kivat upside down on the Power Roost (パワールースト, Pawā Rūsuto) of the belt's Kibuckle (キバックル, Kibakkuru) to complete the transformation, separating from the belt when certain conditions demand for it like Fuestle-blowing or attacking the Fangire on his own. The Kivat Belt also has six Fueslots (フエッスロット, Fuessurotto) to hold the six Fuestles.

Demon Imperial Dragon Tatsulot (魔皇竜タツロット Maōryū Tatsurotto) is a small golden dragon known as the Goldy Wyvern (ゴルディ・ワイバーン Gorudi Waibān) and also a transformation device that allows Minato to unleashed Kiva's full power and access to the Emperor Form.

Tatsulot is also called the Transformation Rotation Brace Tatsulot (変身回転ブレスタツロット Henshin Kaiten Buresu Tatsurotto) and helps unleashes Kiva's Final Wake Up (ファイナルウエイクアップ Fainaru Ueiku Appu), evoking his transformation to Emperor Form. While Kiva is in Emperor Form, Tatsulot's Imperial Slot (インペリアルスロット Inperiaru Surotto) utilizes a roulette system to use one of four Fever-themed attacks, with Tatsulot able to attach to each of the Arms Monster weapons for more power.

　・Wake Up Fever (ウエイクアップフィーバー Ueiku Appu Fībā) activates Emperor Form's Emperor Moon Break (エンペラームーンブレイク Enperā Mūn Bureiku) or DoGaBaKi Emperor Form's DoGaBaKi Emperor Break (ドガバキエンペラーブレイク Dogabaki Enperā Bureiku). Kiva's legs are surrounded by energy blades similar in shape to the "wings" of Kiva's insignia. With these blades, Kiva can hit with a variety of kicks, including a bicycle kick with the blades stabbing through the target multiple times, an attack sometimes preceded by a front dropkick, and a jumping roundhouse kick. As DoGaBaKi Emperor Form, Kiva uses the Emperor Moon Break Rider Kick, only more enhanced along with fire, water, and lightning.

　・Garulu Fever (ガルルフィーバー Garuru Fībā) summons the Garulu Saber as Tatsulot connects to the hilt, allowing Kiva to be shot into the air for the Emperor Howling Slash (エンペラーハウリングスラッシュ Enperā Hauringu Surasshu) overhead slash attack. Tatsulot can also be attached to the Garulu Saber's pommel to ignite the blade, as well as making Tatsulot emit a blade of fire, making it into a naginata before using repeated slashes.

　・Basshaa Fever (バッシャーフィーバー Basshā Fībā) summons the Basshaa Magnum as it connects its muzzle to Tatsulot, allowing Kiva to execute the Emperor Aqua Tornado (エンペラーアクアトルネード Enperā Akua Torunēdo) attack where Kiva propels himself into the air using the Aqua Tornado and firing several rapid shots at the Rogue Fangire.

　・Dogga Fever (ドッガフィーバー Dogga Fībā) summons the Dogga Hammer as it connects to Tatsulot, allowing Kiva to execute the Emperor Thunder Slap (エンペラーサンダースラップ Enperā Sandā Surappu) attack, with Tatsulot creating an orb of electricity that Kiva bashes with the hammer to put a Rogue Fangire in its fragile state before executing a smashing deathblow.

The Fuestles (フエッスル Fuessuru) is a set of whistles used by the Kamen Riders of Crimson Skies Project to access their arsenal. Their name is likely a portmanteau of "Flute" (笛 Fue) and "Whistle" (ホイッスル Hoissuru). They are held in Fueslots (フエッスロット Fuessurotto).

　・Wake Up (ウエイクアップ Ueiku Appu): This Fuestle allows Kiva to perform his Darkness Moon Break (ダークネスムーンブレイク Dākunesu Mūn Bureiku) finisher.
　・Garulu (ガルル Garuru): This Fuestle summons Garulu from Castle Doran.

Garulu Saber and Garulu Statue

Demon-Beast Sword Garulu Saber (魔獣剣ガルルセイバー Majūken Garuru Seibā) is a weapon that Garulu assumes for Kiva to change into Garulu Form. Though in a statuette form when summoned, the Garulu Saber assumes a form once in Kiva's hand. One of its abilities is to fire a shockwave named Howling Shock (ハウリングショック Hauringu Shokku) from the hilt.

The Garulu Saber can be used for the finishing attack Garulu Howling Slash (ガルル・ハウリングスラッシュ Garuru Hauringu Surasshu). This is done by first having Kivat perform a Garulu Bite (ガルルバイト Garuru Baito) on the blade of the Garulu Saber after which Kiva holsters, by way of "biting", the weapon in his mouth as he charges at the Fangire, jumping in the air to slash the Fangire into two as he lands in front of it.

Due to the Garulu Fake Fuestle tracing Dogga's frequency, the Garulu Saber can be used by Kamen Rider Ixa. Although it does not cause Ixa to change into a new form as Kiva does, it retains its power and effect regardless.

The Garulu Saber consists of the following parts:

　・Wolfen Blade (ウルフェンブレード Urufen Burēdo) - Garulu's fangs transformed into a blade. It is covered with a thick iron plate that can damage objects without feeling resistance.Golden Rib (ゴールデンリブ Gōruden Ribu) - The golden part of the Garulu Saber, it is created out of Lucifer Gold (ルシファーゴールド Rushifā Gōrudo), which was made from Garulu himself. Allows Kiva's power to be transferred to the rest of the saber at high speeds for special attacks.

　・Devil Emperor Stone (Crimson) (魔皇石（紅） Ma Ō Seki (Kurenai)) - (Note: Normally, the spelling for Ma Ō is (魔王 lit. Demon King), but this time it is (魔皇 lit. Demon Emperor) which sounds the same.) Red stones embedded all over the Garulu Saber inside the 'eyes'. It amplifies Kiva's power and sends it to the Golden Rib.

　・Wild Jaws (ワイルドジョー Wairudo Jō) - The golden 'teeth' and 'jaw'. Inside is an inbuilt acoustic gun, which can emit the Howling Shock attack, that is able to literally blow away enemies from the soundwave's sheer pressure.

　・Wolfen Head Shield (ウルフェンヘアードシールド Urufen Heādo Shīrudo) - One of the most drastic changes to Garulu's biology, the head has become the hilt of the Garulu Saber, and the hairs have become so hard that it can function as a handguard or miniature shield which can repel most bullets. It has the same strength and healing factor as the Wolfen race, allowing it to repair itself after combat.

　・Wild Grip (ワイルドグリップ Wairudo Gurippu) - The Garulu Saber's grip. The tube is a large blood vessel filled with blue blood unique to Garulu, and when turning into Kiva Garulu Form, the Wild Grip transfers Garulu's power to Kiva via the blood vessel.

　・Wolfen Stamp (Crescent & Full Moon) (ウルフェンの刻印（クレッセント＆フルムーン） Urufen no Kokuin (Kuressento & Furu Mūn), lit. Stamp of Wolfen (Crescent & Full Moon)) - A golden seal at the bottom of the Wild Grip, it is the Wolfen Tribe's coat of arms, consisting of a crescent and full moon), engraved by Garulu into his own body to remember the pride of his race. It is present in the Saber's statuette form as well.

Basshaa Magnum and Basshaa Statue

Demon Sea Gun Basshaa Magnum (魔海銃バッシャーマグナム Makaijū Basshā Magunamu) is a gun-like weapon that Basshaa assumes for Kiva to change into Basshaa Form. The Basshaa Magnum's turbine spins to generate bullets made of high pressure water. The finishing attack is Basshaa Aqua Tornado (バッシャー・アクアトルネード, Basshā Akua Torunēdo). This is done by first having Kivat perform a Basshaa Bite (バッシャーバイト, Basshā Baito) on the hammer of the Basshaa Magnum. From there, the gun's turbines spin, surrounding Kiva with water as the weapon creates a pressurized ball of water that can home on to enemies upon firing, leaving the Fangire in an extremely fragile state where even the slightest touch can shatter them.

Due to the Basshaa Fake Fuestle tracing Dogga's frequency, the Basshaa Magnum can be used by Kamen Rider Ixa. Although it does not cause Ixa to change into a new form as Kiva does, it retains its power and effect regardless.

The Basshaa Magnum consists of the following parts:

　・Aqua Muzzle (アクアマズル Akua Mazuru) - The Bassha Magnum's muzzle. It shoots out Aqua Bullets (アクアバレット Akua Baretto) produced by the Aqua Barrel. The Aqua Muzzle is a biological ring that can adjust the trajectory of the Aqua Bullets according to Kiva's will, and is capable to launching them at a speed of up to 700 meters per second. The red section on the muzzle is a kind of blood vessel, which transfers Kiva's power to the Bassha Magnum. When the Tornado Fins spin for the Bassha Aqua Tornado finisher, the Aqua Muzzle compresses multiple Aqua Bullets together to create a heavy bombardment unit to finish off targets.

　・Aqua Intake (アクアインテーク Akua Intēku) - The gills on the Aqua Barrel, it forcibly sucks up any hydrogen and oxygen present in the atmosphere and sends it to the Aqua Barrel.

　・Aqua Barrel (アクアバレル Akua Bareru) - The Bassha Magnum's gun barrel. The hydrogen and oxygen inhaled by the Aqua Intake is transformed into Aqua Bullets and is accumulated over time. It will fire the Aqua Bullets according to Kiva's will, which is read through the Power Trigger. On top of the Aqua Barrel is a decorative piece made of Lucifer Gold (ルシファーゴールド Rushifā Gōrudo) which can transfer Kiva's power to the Bassha Magnum at high speed.

　・Tornado Fins (トルネードフィン Torunēdo Fin) - Three fin-themed turbine blades attached on an axis in the middle of the Bassha Magnum. During the Bassha Aqua Tornado finisher, the Tornado Fins generates the Aqua Field, surrounding Kiva with water. During normal shooting operations, the Tornado Fins act as a type of stability unit to stabilise trajectory.Devil Emperor Stone (Crimson) (魔皇石（紅） Ma Ō Seki (Kurenai)) - (Note: Normally, the spelling for Ma Ō is (魔王 lit. Demon King), but this time it is (魔皇 lit. Demon Emperor) which sounds the same.) Red stones embedded all over the Bashha Magnum inside the 'eyes'. Amplifies the power of Kiva.

　・Merman Stamp (Double Splash) (マーマンの刻印（ダブルスプラッシュ） Māman no Kokuin (Daburu Supurasshu)) - A golden seal engraved behind the Tornado Fins, it's the Merman coat of arms, consisting of two splashing waves, which is engraved by Bassha into his own body to remember the pride of his race. A Devil Emperor Stone is embedded in the middle of the stamp.

　・Hammer Fin (ハンマーフィン Hanmā Fin) - The Bassha Magnum's gun hammer. Despite its name, it does not actually function as a gun hammer, but rather acts as a battle spike during close combat.

　・Marine Grip (マリングリップ Marin Gurippu) - The Bassha Magnum's grip. The patterns on the golden part are blood vessels filled with green blood unique to Bashha. When turning into Kiva Bassha Form, the Marine Grip transfers Bassha's power to Kiva via the blood vessels, allowing transformation to Bassha Form.

　・Power Trigger (パワートリガー Pawā Torigā) - The Bassha Magnum's trigger. It is an organ that tells Bassha Magnum when Kiva wants to fire Aqua Bullets, as well as whenever Kiva wants to execute the Bassha Aqua Tornado.

　・Attack Bottom (アタックボトム Atakku Botomu) - The bottom part of the Marine Grip, it is the hardest part of the Bassha Magnum, and is used as an impromptu striking weapon in close combat.

Demon Iron Hammer Dogga Hammer (魔鉄槌ドッガハンマー Matettsui Dogga Hanmā) is a fist-like war hammer that Dogga assumes for Kiva to change into Dogga Form.

The finishing attack is the Dogga Thunder Slap (ドッガ・サンダースラップ, Dogga Sandā Surappu), before which Kivat must perform a Dogga Bite (ドッガバイト, Dogga Baito) on the shaft of the hammer. The ball of the hammer opens up like a hand to reveal the True Eye (トゥルーアイ, Turū Ai) in the palm, which can pinpoint a Fangire's exact location or release a shockwave that weakens the opponent Fangire's glass skin, rendering it immobile. Then the head of the hammer produces a giant energy duplicate of itself called the Phantom Hand (ファントムハンド, Fantomu Hando), which follows Kiva's swings and crushes the enemy with massive collateral damage.

Due to the Dogga Fake Fuestle tracing Dogga's frequency, the Dogga Hammer can be used by Kamen Rider Ixa. Although it does not cause Ixa to change into a new form as Kiva does, it retains its power and effect regardless.

The Dogga Hammer consists of the following parts:

　・Thunder Fingers (サンダーフィンガー Sandā Fingā) - The Dogga Hammer's fingers/main head unit. It is capable of destroying a 10m thick iron plate in one smash. Due to it being made of super dense Lucifer Metal (いルシファーメタル Rushifā Metaru), the Thunder Fingers can open up to use its palm as a sort of solid shield. The Thunder Fingers can also call lightning from heaven, storing it in the Iron Base to use later on in combat.

　・Catena (カテナ Katena, lit. 'chain' in Italian) - A sacred chain that wraps around the Thunder Fingers. The Catena suppresses the Dogga Hammer's power until needed, preventing the Dogga Hammer from running amok from energy overflow.

　・Catena Winch (カテナウインチ Katena Uinchi) - The grey metal decorations on top of the Dogga Hammer behind the Thunder Fingers. It senses the Dogga Hammer's current power flow, and tightens or loosens the Catena accordingly. The Catena and Catena Winch is nessecary to keep Dogga Hammer's power in check due to the Dogga Hammer being the most powerful out of the three Arm Monsters.

　・Iron Base (アイアンベース Aian Bēsu) - The Dogga Hammer's wrist. It stores electric energy harnessed from thunder inside it's internal Thunder Coil (サンダーコイル Sandā Koiru). A shock absorber is installed on the wrist, and can reduce energy kickback of impacts, preventing Kiva from suffering recoil.

　・Franken Stamp (Thunderbolt) (フランケンの刻印（サンダーボルト） Furanken no Kokuin (Sandāboruto), lit. 'Seal of Franken (Thunderbolt)) - The Dogga Hammer's hinge that the Thunder Grip folds onto. On the hinge are engraved emblems of a Franken being struck by a thunderstorm. The Franken Stamp was engraved by Dogga to remember the pride of his race.

　・Thunder Grip (サンダーグリップ Sandā Gurippu) - The Dogga Hammer's black grip. It is a type of blood vessel, filled with purple blood unique to Dogga. When transforming into Kiva Dogga Form, the Dogga Hammer's power flows to Kiva via the blood vessel, allowing transformation.

Zanvat Sword Fuestle

The Demon Imperial Sword Zanvat Sword (魔皇剣ザンバットソード Maōken Zanbatto Sōdo) is the personal weapon of Kamen Rider Kiva Emperor Form. He can also wield the sword while in his Kiva Form and not transformed without any problems. The Zanvat Sword is a sword with great power crafted and used by the previous King and later, his great great grandfather.

The Zanvat Sword has been modified with a living hilt named Zanvat-bat (ザンバットバット, Zanbattobatto), or it was called "Zanvat" for short, who was created from the Life Energies of the Arms Monsters to control the unstable powers of the blade from evoking Minato's Fangire blood.

When Kiva inserts Zanvat's Wake Up Fuestle, he can performed Wake Up finishing attack called the Final Zanvat Slash (ファイナルザンバット斬, Fainaru Zanbatto Zan), where Kiva's power has been focused into the Imperial Blade (インペリアルブレード Inperiaru Burēdo) and slashing his opponent. This finisher is powerful enough to destroy giant monsters such as Six Pillars Sabbaths and even a Mother Sagarc.

When Kiva Emperor Form activated the Wake Up Fever without inserting the Zanvat-bat's Wake Up Fuestle into Kivat-Bat the 3rd, he can perform an enhanced version of Final Zanvat Slash called Final Zanvat Emperor Storm (ファイナルザンバットエンペラーストーム Fainaru Zanbatto Enpera Sutomu), where Kiva delivers a powerful storm of sword beams towards his opponents.

The Zanvat Sword is composed of the following parts:

　・Imperial Blade (インペリアルブレード Inperiaru Burēdo) - The blade. The entire Imperial Blade is carved out of a gigantic gemstone crystal, and has the ability to absorb all of Kiva's power. The power gathered in the blade is polished by Zanvat Bat to ensure that the power remains stable and that sharpness never dulls.

　・Demon Emperor Stone (Red) (魔皇石（紅） Ma Ō Seki (Kurenai)) - A Demon Emperor Stone has been placed on the tip to amplify the power gathered in the blade and increase its stability and on the bottom of the hilt to amplify power to increase destructive force.

　・Emperor's Crest (皇帝の紋章 Kōtei no Monshō) - The symbol on the hilt. It signifies that the sword belongs to the ruler of the Fangires.

　・Imperial Vessel (インペリアルベッセル Inperiaru Besseru) - The hilt. It is an energy transmission route that sucks up Kiva's power and flows it through the Zanvat Sword. By placing the Goldie Vessel (にゴルディベッセル Gorudi Besseru) in the centre of the hilt, energy flow is smoother.

　・Zanhammer (ザンハンマー Zanhanmā) The bat wing-like bottom of the hilt. It can be used as a striking weapon, and has enough destructive power to pierce the armor plating of a tank in one hit.

　・Zanvat Bat (ザンバットバット Zanbatto Batto) - The bat. It is a living hilt that was formed out of the life energies of Garulu, Basshaa and Dogga in order to properly control the unstable energy of the Zanvat Sword. The Zanvat Sword itself is a life sucking sword (命吸う妖剣 inochi suu yōken) that overreacts to anything that has life energy. Since it has recognised the Fangire King, anything else that tries to wield it will find it impossible to control. Thus the need for Zanvat Bat.

　　・Wing Edges (ウイングエッジ Uingu Ejji) - The four wings. They serve as protective guards to protect Zanvat Bat during battle. Because Kiva's demonic power is being poured into the sword, the Wing Edges can be used as sharp daggers that have incredible destructive power. 

　　・Dunamis Crown (デュナミスクラウン De~yunamisu Kuraun) - Zanvat Bat's crown. It is an energy transmission organ to pour Kiva's power into. By touching it with a finger, it is possible to concentrate demonic power on Zanvat Bat and enable the blade to be polished and/or charged.

　　・Wake Up Fuestle (ウエイクアップフエッスル Ueiku Appu Fuessuru) - Stored over Zanvat Bat's eyes. When used, it is taken off and given to Kivat-Bat to blow. When blown, Zanvat Bat awakens, the Imperial Blade's sharpness is increased to the utmost and a special move can be unleashed.

　　・Sharpens Fangs (シャーペンスファング Shāpensu Fangu) - The fangs. When Zanvat Bat is moved across the blade, the blade is sharpened. Each time it is sharpened, a certain amount of demonic power is poured into it, allowing the Imperial Blade to maintain a stable sharpness.

The Machine Kivaa (マシンキバー Mashin Kibā) is the personal Rider Machine of Minato Kurenai/Kamen Rider Kiva. It is also known as the "Crimson Iron Horse" (真紅の鉄馬 Shinku no Tetsuuma). It was given to Kivat and was said to have been made by Motobat the 16th (モトバット１６世 Motobatto Jūrokusei), the master craftsman of the Kivat race. The Machine Kivaa is a living motorcycle, possessing the brain of a horse creature in its upper cowl. When running at high speed, it generates the Shadow Veil (シャドーベール Shadō Bēru) to hide itself from plain sight. The Kivaa can be powered up through the use of the Buroon Fuestle. His Rider Machine was based on the Honda Shadow 750.

The Machine Kivaa has the following parts:

　・Sonic Wing (ソニックウイング Sonikku Uingu) - A sensory organ that communicates with Kiva by emitting ultrasonic waves. Even if the triangle eye is destroyed, it can still propel itself if this part remains.

　・Triangle Eye (トライアングル・アイ Toraianguru Ai) - A visual organ that is embedded with three magic stones called White Gemstone (白輝石 (はっきせき) Hakki Seki), which illuminates the darkness as if it's midday to ensure the passenger's view, and also becomes the eye of the Machine Kivaa during automatic driving.

　・Bloody Face (ブラッディフェイス Buraddi Feisu) - An upper cowl with a control center for Machine Kivaa. It contains the brain of a Horse Fangire which follows Kiva's intention. It is possible to drive with Kiva's willpower.

　・Spirit Steer (スピリット・ステア Supiritto Sutea) - A device that communicates Kiva's intentions to the machine via his hands. The machine will run semi-automatically, even if Kiva is not actively controlling.

　・Kiva Stamp (キバの刻印 Kiba no Kokuin) - An emblem indicating it is an ally of Kiva. Among monsters, it is known as the emblem of those with power, and just like the choker on Kiva's neck, some monsters freeze in fear when they see this emblem.

　・Bloody Converter (ブラッディコンバーター Buraddi Konbātā) - An energy storage and conversion device that stores the natural energy collected from the Claw Feeler and converts it into Demonic Power and sends the energy to Bloody Heart.

　・Bloody Ladder (ブラッディラダー Buraddi Radā) - This is a device to improve the stability of the vehicle when the Machine Kicker shifts to ultra-high speed mode. Two White Gemstones are embedded inside, which also function as the rear eye.

　・Doran Ring (ドランリング Doran Ringu) - Ultra-high grip tires made from GaoraDoran's belly leather similar to Kiva's suit. With a fully solid construction and supple GaoraDoran leather, this tire can firmly grip the ground, absorbs shock and doesn't puncture.

　・Sylvania Absorber (rear) (シルバニア・アブソーバ (リア) Shirubania Abusōba (Ria)) - Like the Front Fork, the rear shock of the Machine Kivaa is processed with silver Trysylvania, which improves road following ability and suppresses the destructive runaway of the Demonic Power.

　・Bloody Heart (ブラッディハート Buraddi Hāto) - A supernatural power unit that amplifies the power of the Demon Emperor sent from the Bloody Converter and creates power for the Machine Kivaa. Two red Demon Emperor Stones are built into the front and rear cylinders, and resonate with each other to create power. The surface is coated with silver Trysylvania to suppress the runaway of the Demonic Power.

　・Claw Feeler (クローフィーラー Kurō Fīrā) - A device that catches energy in the atmosphere and sends it to the Bloody Tank. At the same time, a Shadow Veil is generated.

　・Sylvania Absorber (front) (シルバニア・アブソーバ (フロント) Shirubania Abusōba (furonto)) - The machine forkbar's front fork is made of Trisylvania silver to improve road following ability and at the same time suppress the destructive runaway of the Demonic Power.

　・Sylvania Exap (シルバニア・エクザップ Shirubania Ekuzappu) - A device that discharges the surplus power of the Demon Emperor amplified by the Bloody Heart and prevents self destruction. It has the role of stabilizing the power of the Machine Kivaa by efficiently exhausting power.

The Buroon Booster (ブロンブースター Buron Būsutā) combines the creature Buroon with the Machine Kivaa, increasing its abilities by adding Buroon's armor to it. Buroon gives the Machine Kivaa extra armor and exhaust ports, increasing its speed and power significantly and providing Kiva with a powerful vehicle and combat machine. When running at high speed, it generates the Air Break Field (エアブレイクフィールド Ea Bureiku Fīrudo) with the Shadow Veil and reduces air resistance to almost 0.

Castle Doran (キャッスルドラン Kyassuru Doran) is Kamen Rider Kiva's base of operation which is of the Wyvern-like Doran Race (ドラン族 Doran Zoku).

When exposed to moonlight, or when Kiva performs his finishing move or uses the Doran Fuestle, Castle Doran awakens and assumes its true form. Due to its unique abilities of sealing defeated Rogue Fangires, Castle Doran is also home to the Arms Monsters, who are in now servitude of Minato while being maintained on the Life Energy of the sealed Rogue Fangires that Castle Doran devours. In battle, Castle Doran can use Magic Missiles (マジックミサイル Majikku Misairu), firing the towers on its castle, and spit out Pod Shoots (ポッドシュート Poddo Shūto) from its mouth. It can also breathe fire as well as drain the life energy of others. It also seems that when its offspring, Shoodoran, joins onto its back, Castle Doran's wingspan increases thus allowing it to fly faster.

Shoodoran (シュードラン Shūdoran) is a smaller Doran that is hidden in nature as a windmill until summoned by a distress roar of Castle Doran since it is too young to hear the sound of a Fuestle. Although it was originally a child of the Great Wyvern, the Fangire captured it and bonded it to the mold of a windmill as a scout and bomber.

When it comes to battle, Shoodoran perches atop Castle Doran, allowing it to fight at full power. Like Castle Doran, Shoodoran seals the souls of defeated Rogue Fangire Race members by eating their bodiless souls. Its attacks are Pod Batting (ポッドバッティング Poddo Battingu), Doran Bomb Shoot (ドランボムシュート Doran Bomu Shūto), and Doran Blow (ドランブロウ Doran Burō).
