Makoto Takasugi is one of two Yuuki Kusanagi's childhood friends. However, unknown to his childhood friends, mainly to Yuuki Kusanagi, Makoto has developed hidden jealously towards him because Yuuki has received many praises from everyone, including his family, due to his talents and achievements.

Thus, he had developed a vendetta and silently makes a vow to surpassed his own friend and prove that he was far stronger than Yuuki has, though Makoto himself couldn't do it because it will shatter their bonds.

During their trip to the museum, they've trying to make attempt to stop a mysterious man from stealing a priceless bronze mirror, but, ended up shattering its mirror in the process and was sent back to the alternate world of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, where every major figure had become beautiful girls. Not only that, but he also gained the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Baron (仮面ライダーバロン) and take its role as the third Messenger of Heaven (天の御遣い Ten no Mitsukai) before he was met by the legendary Sōsō Mōtoku and joined with Gi (魏 Wèi) as one of her generals.

However, as time passes, his hidden jealously would slowly surface and taking over his will, causing him to become a warmonger and ruthless warrior as he began to trample upon the weak, including innocent peoples, just like the first Kamen Rider Baron, Kaito Kumon (駆紋 戒斗 Kumon Kaito) does.

As he was trying to fulfill his vow to surpassed him and prove that he was strongest than anyone else, even though he must kill his own friends...

His sudden fall into villainy has caused his friendship at risk of shattering. When Yuuki and the others know about both of his changes and vow, will they be able to stop him and preventing him to end up suffering the same fate as Kaito?

The Sengoku Driver (戦極［センゴク］ドライバー Sengoku Doraibā lit. "War Culminating Driver") is the transformation belt for the Sengoku Riders.

His Sengoku Driver is one of the original Prototype Sengoku Drivers and it has DNA Restriction features which only allows Makoto Takasugi to uses the Sengoku Driver after places the Driver on his waist for the first time. His Sengoku Driver didn't provide any special attachments.

His Sengoku Driver plays European trumpet music and announces "Come On" (カモン Kamon) before every transformation while his personal Lockseeds are styled in pure English that is sung in a chorus-like manner with a "[Noun 1] of [Noun 2]" theme.

The Sengoku Driver is composed of the following parts:

　・Lock On Arm (ロックオンアーム Rokku On Āmu) is the arm part fixing the Lockseed. When releasing the power of Lockseed, it plays a role of a safety device to prevent power runaway.

　・Drive Bay (ドライブベイ Doraibu Bei) is the storage bay to set Lockseed. It has enough strength to withstand power released and also plays a role as a connector for connection that exchanges energy between Lockseed and Sengoku Driver.

　・Cutting Blade (カッティングブレード Kattingu Burēdo) is a blade-like switch that plays the role of a trigger to release the power of Lockseed. By lowering the blade, the set Lockseed opens, and it exerts its effect.

　・Rider Indicator (ライダーインジケーター Raidā Injikētā) is a display board indicating that the transformation to Armored Rider was certified.

　・Lift-off Switch (リフトオフスイッチ Rifuto-ofu Suitchi) is a switch next to the Cutting Blade. It can release the transformation by the Sengoku Driver.

　・Folding Band (フォルディングバンド Forudingu Bando) is the belt part to hold the Sengoku Driver. Usually it is folded and stored in the buckle part of the driver, but it automatically stretches according to the wearer's body shape.

　・Band Shelter (バンドシェルター Bando Sherutā) is a storage block to store the Folding Band.

The Sengoku Driver is usually only in its buckle form. If the user wants to use the belt, all they have to do is place it on their waist and the Folding Band will automatically wrap around their body, fastening the belt.

The Sengoku Driver possesses a Rider Indicator called Face Plate (フェイスプレート Feisu Purēto) on the wearer's left hand side. The Rider Indicator indicates what Ride Wear was generated upon attaching to the user during its first use. When the Driver is damaged beyond function, the Rider Indicator becomes blank. Removal of the Rider Indicator allows extensions to be used in its place.

Not every Sengoku Drivers are made equal with some being more powerful than the others. The user's physical feats are also a factor.

The Sengoku Driver can pluck Helheim fruit and transform them into Lockseeds. Wearing a Driver and locking a Lockseed in also provides nutrition to a wearer thus allowing them to survive without growing hungry.

When the Cutting Blade is pressed down between one and three times, the user can activate a certain ability.

　・Once: The Squash (スカッシュ Sukasshu) function can either power up a Rider's Arms Weapon for a finishing attack or allow the user to initiate a Rider Kick when infused with the fruit-shaped/nut-shaped energy of their Arms.

　・Twice: The Au Lait (オーレ Ōre) function gives extra power to the Squash function.

　・Thrice: The Sparking (スパーキング Supākingu) function can either further enhance a Rider's finishing attack to its full potential or temporarily convert the user's Armor Part into its original fruit/nut form to spin and use as a shield.

Genesis Driver

Genesis Driver (Lockseed-In)

Genesis Driver w/Folding Band

The Genesis Driver (ゲネシスドライバー Geneshisu Doraibā) is the transformation belt for the Genesis Riders. It utilizes powerful artificial Lockseeds known as Energy Lockseeds (エナジーロックシード Enajī Rokkushīdo). Unlike the Sengoku Drivers, the Genesis Drivers didn't have DNA Restriction features and the Genetic Ride Wear undersuits are programmed within the Energy Lockseeds rather than onto the Driver itself.

The Genesis Driver is composed of the following parts:

　・Seaboll Compressor (シーボルコンプレッサー Shīboru Konpuressā) - The handle. Pressing it into the Genesis Driver releases the Energy Lockseed's power and allows for transformation and deathblows.

　・Genesis Core (ゲネシスコア Geneshisu Koa) - A connecting terminal where Energy Lockseeds are inserted. Because plans to mass-produce the Sengoku Driver ran parallel to the Genesis Driver's production, it can be removed and attached to the Sengoku Driver.

　・Vascular Duct (バスキュラーダクト Basukyurā Dakuto) - A straw-like pipe that runs from the main body to the Concentrate Pod. It sends energy extracted from an inserted Energy Lockseed to the Concentrate Pod.

　・Concentrate Pod (コンセントレイトポッド Konsentraatio Poddo) - The clear cup-shaped energy pod located towards the bottom. It stores and stabilises any liquified energy extracted from an Energy Lockseed.

　・Lift-off Switch (リフトオフスイッチ Rifuto-ofu Suitchi) - A switch that releases the Genesis Driver from the user. Located on the right top section.

Like the Sengoku Driver, the Genesis Driver is usually only in its buckle form. If the user wants to use the belt, all they have to do is place it on their waist and the Folding Band (フォルディングバンド Forudingu Bando) will automatically wrap around their body, fastening the belt.

To transform, the user opens the lock on the Energy Lockseed, which causes a dimensional opening into the Helheim Forest to materialize above them and an Armor Part that corresponds to the Energy Lockseed used to appear from it. Afterwards, the user attaches the Energy Lockseed onto the belt's Drive Bay (ドライブベイ Doraibu Bei) and closes the lock to secure it into the Lock On Arm (ロックオンアーム Rokku On Āmu). Finally, the user pushes the Seaboll Compressor (シーボルコンプレッサー Shīboru Konpuressā) juicer in, which extracts the juice from the Energy Lockseed itself through the Vascular Duct (バスキュラーダクト Basukyurā Dakuto) and into the glass-like Concentrate Pod (コンセントレイトポッド Konsentraatio Poddo) at the bottom, causing the Armor Part to fall on top of the user's head and the Driver to announce the Arms granted, along with its corresponding music (or in the Lemon Energy and Matsubokkuri Energy Lockseed's case, its corresponding phrase).

When the Seaboll Compressor is pushed in between one and two times, a Rider can activate a certain ability.

　・Once: The Squash (スカッシュ Sukasshu) function can either power up a Rider's Sonic Arrow for a Rider Slash or trigger an alternate finishing attack.

　・Twice: The Sparking (スパーキング Supākingu) function can either enhance a Rider's finishing attack to its full potential, allowing the user to initiate a Rider Kick when infused with the fruit-shaped/nut-shaped energy of their Arms, or temporarily convert the user's Armor Part into its original fruit/nut form to spin and use as a shield.

・Lockseeds

The Lockseeds (ロックシード Rokkushīdo) are mysterious devices that are the source of the Sengoku Riders' powers. They all have powers associated with fruits, seeds, berries, and nuts. Lockseeds were originally fruits that grow on trees in the Helheim Forest.

The Inves love Lockseeds and Helheim's fruits, regarding them as their favorite food. However, if an Inves consumes a Lockseed, it assumes its Advanced State, and if it consumes yet another Lockseed, then that Inves will evolve into its Strengthened Form.

When a person wearing a Sengoku Driver/Genesis Driver picks a Helheim fruit, they will quickly convert into Lockseeds.

If an Sengoku Rider summons an Inves in a battle, then they will be fully materialized in the real world, however if a Genesis Rider summons an Inves, one Lockseed can call in three at a time. If one manages to jailbreak a Lockseed, they can summon fully materialized Inves as well without being an Sengoku Rider, although there is a chance for the Lockseed to malfunction.

Lockseeds are given ranks, from D to A, but it is unknown if either the number of the Lockseed, the chance of rarity of such a Lockseed being found, or a combination of the two makes the Lockseed's ranking.

A-Class Lockseeds are normally unbreakable (though they can be devoured by an Inves or destroyed by powerful attacks). Given their powerful nature, they are useful for both transformation as an Sengoku Rider or to summon a high-class Inves. One drawback is that the summoned Inves is in its Advanced State, and if said Inves consumes a Lockseed that summoned it or an entirely different Lockseed, it will evolve into a second form of itself called an Strengthened State (強化体 Kyōka-tai).

Beyond the normal variety of Lockseeds, there exists another brand of Lockseed in the form of Lock Vehicle Lockseeds (ロックビークルロックシード Rokku Bīkuru Rokkushīdo). They are indicated by their rougher design and their theme being based on flowers. Once unlocked, the Lock Vehicles will unfold from their Lockseed Modes into their Vehicle Modes, and have the capacity to breach into the Helheim Forest by forming a crack (either at a certain speed or with a beam). Due to these Lockseeds being made mainly as a mode of transportation, Lock Vehicle Lockseeds do not have a Lockseed ranking.

A certain organization has managed to created fully functional artificial and more powerful Lockseeds Energy Lockseeds (エナジーロックシード Enajī Rokkushīdo) that sacrifices the ability to summon a normal Arms Weapons when used in a Driver, instead summoning a Sonic Arrow (with the exception of Kamen Rider Kurokage Shin). These particular Lockseeds can only be used by a Genesis Rider with a Genesis Driver, though there is a roundabout way Sengoku Driver-wearing Sengoku Riders can use Energy Lockseeds. In terms of rankings, Energy Lockseeds are given the general rank of Class S, outranking even the more powerful nature-converted Lockseeds (except skilled users of the Suika Lockseed). Like A-Classed Lockseeds, they are normally unbreakable.

The Banaspear (バナスピアー Banasupiā) is the Sengoku Rider Arms Weapons granted either by accessing Banana Arms or via the summoning ability of Kiwami Arms. It is a small lance that resembles a peeled banana.

The Banaspear consists of the following parts:

　・Spear Head (スピアーヘッド Supiā Heddo) is the frontal head tip of the Banaspear. It is slightly larger than the Pulp Shaft, and its destructive power is increased when accelerated, giving out maximum power at the point of impact.

　・Pulp Shaft (パルプシャフト Parupu Shafuto) is the tip/shaft of the Banaspear. It becomes a powerful blowing weapon when spun around by the Rider.

　・Bana Keel (バナキール Bana Kīru) is the black frame of the Banaspear that is visible when the Pulp Shaft separates from the Pulp Base.

　・Pulp Base (パルプベース Parupu Bēsu) is the base of the Banaspear's shaft that connects it to the handle. It has a compression mechanism incorporated into it that allows the Pulp Shaft to extend.

　・Burn Plate Peel (バンプレートピール Ban Purēto Pīru) is the banana peel-like handguard on the Banaspear. It is curved to allow impact force to escape, lessening impact recoil on the Rider's hand.

　・Branch Stalk (ブランチストック Buranchi Sutokku) is the grip of the Banaspear.

The Mango Punisher (マンゴパニッシャー Mango Panisshā) is the Sengoku Rider Arms Weapons granted either by accessing Mango Arms or via the summoning ability of Kiwami Arms. It is a large, long-handled flanged mace with a spiked tip, with the head modeled after a diced mango.

The Mango Punisher consists of the following parts:

　・Dead Point (デッドポイント Deddo Pointo) - The Mango Punisher's metal tip. It is extremely sharp, and can pierce multiple types of armor.

　・Block Bastard (ブロックバスタード Burokku Basutādo) - The main mace part. It is many times heavier than a normal mace, and as a result only a few people can lift it. However, if used properly, it can dish out extreme amounts of damage.

　・Chip Flange (チップフランジ Chippu Furanji) - The four rows of blades jutting out of the Block Bastard. The Mango Punisher's weight helps push the Chip Flanges into enemy armor/skin, dealing massive damage.

　・Punisher Club (パニッシャークラブ Panisshā Kurabu) - The silver shaft. It is durable enough to withstand an Armored Rider's power, as well as support the Block Bastard's weight.

　・Margo Stock (マーゴストック Māgo Sutokku) - The black grip.

The Genesis Bow Sonic Arrow (創世弓ソニックアロー Sōseikyū Sonikku Arō), more commonly referred to as the Sonic Arrow, is a bladed bow-like side weapon used primarily by any Kamen Riders who transforms using a fruit-based Class-S Energy Lockseed. Non fruit-based Class-S Energy Lockseeds provide an Arms Weapon instead.

The Sonic Arrow consists of the following parts:

　・Arch Grip (アーチグリップ Āchi Gurippu) - The grip. Sonic String (ソニックストリング Sonikku Sutoringu) - The 'string'. It is a power assisting device that helps the Nocking Drawer. It also has a built-in shock absorber that absorbs any recoil when shooting.

　・Nocking Drawer (ノッキングドローワー Nokkingu Dorōwā) - The 'nock'/black handle. By pulling it, energy is supplied to the rest of the Sonic Arrow; when released, a safety device is released as well, letting an energy arrow fly.

　・Charge Signal (チャージシグナル Chāji Shigunaru) - A blue indication lamp located behind to the Energy Drive Bay (facing the user). It indicates the user as to when the Sonic Arrow is fully charged.

　・Energy Drive Bay (エナジードライブベイ Enajī Doraibu Bei) - A slot where Energy (or regular) Lockseeds can be attached. Any Lockseed attached will supply power to the Sonic Arrow for finishing moves.

　・Aiming Scope (エイミングスコープ Eimingu Sukōpu) - A red laser pointer mounted next to the Energy Drive Bay (facing outwards). As the laser will point straight ahead to the expected impact destination, the accuracy of shots will not falter even in the dark or when attempting to shoot a target far away.

　・Arc Rims (アークリム Āku Rimu) - The blue bladed sections. They are extremely sharp and can be used as regular blades in combat.

　・Arrow Rest (アローレスト Arō Resuto) - The blue 'arrow tip'. It is a launching device that shoots out energy arrows.

The bow is a modernized bow with blades on the front of the bow, allowing its users to use it as a melee weapon. It features a laser point tracer to aid the user in landing important shots. Depending on the Energy Lockseed the user is equipped with, the Sonic Arrow can serve different purposes, serving a wide range of utility.

Their internal finishers through the Genesis Driver and their Sonic Volley also vary.

Like the Musou Saber, by inserting an Energy Lockseed into the Energy Drive Bay (エナジードライブベイ Enajī Doraibu Bei) and locking it in place, the user can perform either a Sonic Volley (ソニックボレー Sonikku Borē) finishing attack or an unnamed Rider Slash finishing attack. The Sonic Arrow's damage output can be further enhanced by placing a non-Energy Lockseed into its Energy Drive Bay.

・Suika Lance

The Suika Lance (スイカランス Suika Lance lit. Watermelon Lance) is an alternative Sengoku Rider Arms Weapons granted by accessing the Suika Arms, which can only be used while in Yoroi Mode. It was exclusively used by Kamen Rider Baron.

・Guronbaryamu

The Guronbaryamu (グロンバリャム Guronbāyamu) is Lord Baron's personal weapon, resembling a sword with a spade-shaped end on the pummel of the handle, which allows the user to control Helheim flora and fauna, as demonstrated by Demushu. The weapon's balance is perfect, allowing the user to use both ends of the weapon to strike enemies with.
