Background

Haruka Kazuraba is an actual son of the first Kamen Rider Gaim; Kouta Kazuraba (葛葉 紘汰 Kazuraba Kōta) and Mai Kazuraba (葛葉 舞 Kazuraba Mai).

In unknown times, he was adopted by the Emiya family (衛宮家 Emiya-ke) or Kiritsugu Emiya (衛宮 切嗣 Emiya Kiritsugu) himself. He would be called as Haruka Emiya (衛宮 遥河 Emiya Haruka) and run a normal life without any memories about his biological parents and his past. The only thing he ever had with some link to his past was a strange padlock with the image of an orange on a lock's body and a button on the side that he always holding and carried it whenever he's going.

Until one day and unknown to him, his normal life as a high school student was gradually ended...

Wake in the unknown dream space and after being chased by a mysterious creature, he comes across the ruins with a strange language before he encounters with a slab of rocks and the mysterious girl who gave him a warning about "if he touches a slab of rock, he will bound to the fate and must fight until the bitter end". Despite being warned, Haruka would keep going and took a slab of rock as the world suddenly shines brightly.

Waking up from a mysterious dream, Fuyuki City suddenly went up in flames and Haruka, the only human who has survived, rushed in to search his family and friends. In his attempt to find any survivor, he first met with three girls whose names are Ritsuka Fujimaru (藤丸 立香), Mashu Kyrielight (マシュ・キリエライト), and Olga Marie Asmleit Animusphere (オルガマリー・アースミレイト・アニムスフィア) respectively.

The one whose they've called Servant, "Lancer" (ランサー Ransā), is one of them, has killed his best friend in front of his eyes, who has been turned into stone-like every human who had become the victims. Traumatized from seeing the loss of his best friend, Olga Marie dragged him away from the battle and take him to the Homurahara Academy for shelter.

A mysterious girl from his dream appeared and ask him to turn back from the path that will test him until he stands at the top and grasps the forbidden fruit. Despite her warnings, he won't let the girls suffered the same fate as the people who turned into a stone and he's willing to fight for them.

Realized that he won't back down, a mysterious girl put a rectangular rock that he has kept it on his waist before it collapses, revealing the Sengoku Driver (戦国ドライバー), gained the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Gaim (仮面ライダー鎧武) by using the belt and the Orange Lockseed that he's always holding it.

He would transform as Kamen Rider Gaim for the first time and easily defeating Lancer, avenging his best friend's death. Then, Haruka decided to lend them a hand to finish their mission: to retrieve something they've called: Holy Grail (聖杯). Haruka would encounter with a certain tanned man, who is calling himself as "Archer" and the one who was trying to kill him from long distance, though he has been forced to call off after suffering a headache. Despite that, Haruka would transform as Gaim and prepares himself for his battle against "Archer" alongside "Caster" while the others moving forward towards the cave to retrieve Holy Grail.

After defeating "Archer", Haruka and "Caster" had to catch up with them and the former has encountered someone who has resemblance his sister figure and had been forced to fight him, which he managed to emerge victoriously.

The one who responsible for humanities' countdown to destruction, Lev Lainur Flauros (レフ・ライノール・​フラウロス Refu Rainōru Furaurosu), appeared right in front of them and attempt to send Olga to a black hole to let her "taste an eternal moment of death", but, Haruka, with his power awakened, managed to save her from her death and wound Lev with his Musou Saber, causing the latter developed a great hatred towards the young man who stabbed him and forced to leave as the cave collapsed.

After they retrieved the Holy Grail and teleported back to the place called Chaldea (カルデア Karudea), Olga explained about the Grand Order (グランド・オーダー Gurando Ōdā), where they've must save humanity from extinction by traveling to each of Singularities (特異点 Tokuiten) in the past in order to fix the irregularities of history caused by the Holy Grails.

Finally learned about the current situation, Haruka decided to join with Chaldea and uses his new power to save humanity from extinction as well as to find out about who he is and his actual family.

His new journey to save the world is about to begin...

・Master Swordsmanship: Trained from his young age during his time with the Emiya family, Haruka mastered at the swordsmanship and proved that he was highly proficient at the dual-wielding style than his brother. He has used the Niten Ichi-ryū (二天一流 lit. "the school of the strategy of two heavens as one") as his primary fighting art. His superior skill of Niten Ichi-ryū has impressed many Japanese Servants, especially Musashi Miyamoto and Munenori Yagyū.

・Bowmanship: He was struggling to use the Sonic Arrow in his Jimber Arms (excluding the Matsubokkuri Energy Arms) as he didn't have any experience with archery, hence why he asked his Servant, Atalanta, to help him mastered the art of archery.

・Master Spearsmanship: Not only he had learned of swordsmanship, but he's also mastered about Sōjutsu (槍術 lit. "art of the spear"). However, he had used this art sometimes since he prefers his Niten Ichi-ryū as his primary fighting arts.

・OverLord Powers: Haruka inherited the Overlord powers from his parents and not only that, his Overlord powers have provided a powerful set of Prana and magical core. Like his father, Haruka prefers close-quarters combat and only using his Overlord powers if needed.

　・Magic Circuits: By using his Overlord powers to create a powerful set of Prana, he gained his own Magic Circuits and Command Spells, allowed him to made contracts with many Servants as he likes.

　・Exorcism: He was capable to remove Artoria Pendragon's dark persona (Saber Alter) from her body, returning her back to her normal persona (Saber).

　・Healing Factor: His health regeneration has been greatly increased, allowing him to take lethal damage and still able to recover shortly afterward.

　・ESP (Extra Sensory Projection): He has possessed the ESP ability, allowed him to see events far away in real-time and used the telepathic abilities to communicate with anyone.

　・Fruit Transmutation: He is capable of regenerated the broken or destroyed Lockseeds by turning them into its fruit form, before restoring its intact state.

Kamen Rider Gaim's Rider Indicator

The Sengoku Driver (戦極［センゴク］ドライバー Sengoku Doraibā, lit. "War Culminating Driver") is the transformation belt for the Kamen Rider Gaim.

He gains the Sengoku Driver from the mysterious dream as a form of rectangular slab of rock before the rock breaks apart and now acts as a fully functional Driver with Rider Indicator when a mysterious woman puts on his waist.

His Sengoku Driver is the original Prototype Sengoku Drivers and it has DNA Restriction features which only allows Haruka Kazuraba to uses the Sengoku Driver after he places the Driver on his waist for the first time. His Sengoku Driver is featuring Musou Saber, its Holster, and Lockseed Holder.

His Sengoku Driver plays Japanese horagai music and announces "Soiya" (ソイヤ) before every transformation, except when he transforms into Kiwami Arms, while his personal Lockseeds are styled with a mix of Japanese words and English words.

The Sengoku Driver is composed of the following parts:

　・Lock On Arm (ロックオンアーム Rokku On Āmu) is the arm part fixing the Lockseed. When releasing the power of Lockseed, it plays a role of a safety device to prevent power runaway.

　・Drive Bay (ドライブベイ Doraibu Bei) is the storage bay to set Lockseed. It has enough strength to withstand power released and also plays a role as a connector for connection that exchanges energy between Lockseed and Sengoku Driver.

　・Cutting Blade (カッティングブレード Kattingu Burēdo) is a blade-like switch that plays the role of a trigger to release the power of Lockseed. By lowering the blade, the set Lockseed opens, and it exerts its effect.

　・Rider Indicator (ライダーインジケーター Raidā Injikētā) is a display board indicating that the transformation to Armored Rider was certified.

　・Lift-off Switch (リフトオフスイッチ Rifuto-ofu Suitchi) is a switch next to the Cutting Blade. It can release the transformation by the Sengoku Driver.

　・Folding Band (フォルディングバンド Forudingu Bando) is the belt part to hold the Sengoku Driver. Usually it is folded and stored in the buckle part of the driver, but it automatically stretches according to the wearer's body shape.

　・Band Shelter (バンドシェルター Bando Sherutā) is a storage block to store the Folding Band.

The Sengoku Driver is usually only in its buckle form. If the user wants to use the belt, all they have to do is place it on their waist and the Folding Band will automatically wrap around their body, fastening the belt.

The Sengoku Driver possesses a Rider Indicator called Face Plate (フェイスプレート Feisu Purēto) on the wearer's left-hand side. The Rider Indicator indicates what Ride Wear was generated upon attaching to the user during its first use. When the Driver is damaged beyond function, the Rider Indicator becomes blank. Removal of the Rider Indicator allows extensions to be used in its place.

Not every Sengoku Drivers are made equal with some being more powerful than the others. The user's physical feats are also a factor.

The Sengoku Driver can pluck Helheim fruit and transform them into Lockseeds. Wearing a Driver and locking a Lockseed in also provides nutrition to a wearer thus allowing them to survive without growing hungry.

When the Cutting Blade is pressed down between one and three times, the user can activate a certain ability.

　・Once: The Squash (スカッシュ Sukasshu) function can either power up a Rider's Arms Weapon for a finishing attack or allow the user to initiate a Rider Kick when infused with the fruit-shaped/nut-shaped energy of their Arms.

　・Twice: The Au Lait (オーレ Ōre) function gives extra power to the Squash function.

　・Thrice: The Sparking (スパーキング Supākingu) function can either further enhance a Rider's finishing attack to its full potential or temporarily convert the user's Armor Part into its original fruit/nut form to spin and use as a shield.

Sengoku Driver w/Genesis Core Unit

The Genesis Core Unit (ゲネシスコアユニット Geneshisu Koa Yunitto) is the central piece of the Genesis Driver.

The Genesis Core Unit can be used alongside the Sengoku Driver by removing its Rider Indicator and attaching the unit in its place. Initially deemed as a reject prototype and failure, this configuration yields unexpected results, granting performance extremely similar to the standard Genesis Driver. Aside from this, it grants varying special abilities exclusive only to this configuration, which is sacrificed in the standard Genesis Driver for higher raw performance.

Kamen Rider Gaim's Senyo Joint

Kamen Rider Gaim's Sengoku Driver w/Senyo Joint

The Senyo Joint (専用ジョイント Senyō Jointo, lit. "Personal Usage Joint") is a separate extension that is essential for Kamen Rider Gaim to access Kiwami Arms by replacing his Sengoku Driver's Rider Indicator. Unlike the Genesis Core which has to be manually inserted, this slot is not physical, as it will materialize when Gaim activates the Kiwami Lockseed while in Kachidoki Arms.

・Lockseeds

The Lockseeds (ロックシード Rokkushīdo) are mysterious devices that are the source of the Sengoku Riders' powers. They all have powers associated with fruits, seeds, berries, and nuts. Lockseeds were originally fruits that grow on trees in the Helheim Forest.

The Inves love Lockseeds and Helheim's fruits, regarding them as their favorite food. However, if an Inves consumes a Lockseed, it assumes its Advanced State, and if it consumes yet another Lockseed, then that Inves will evolve into its Strengthened Form.

When a person wearing a Sengoku Driver/Genesis Driver picks a Helheim fruit, they will quickly convert into Lockseeds.

If a Sengoku Rider summons an Inves in a battle, then they will be fully materialized in the real world, however if a New Generation Rider summons an Inves, one Lockseed can call in three at a time. If one manages to jailbreak a Lockseed, they can summon fully materialized Inves as well without being an Armored Rider, although there is a chance for the Lockseed to malfunction.

Lockseeds are given ranks, from D to A, but it is unknown if either the number of the Lockseed, the chance of rarity of such a Lockseed being found, or a combination of the two makes the Lockseed's ranking.

A-Class Lockseeds are normally unbreakable (though they can be devoured by an Inves or destroyed by powerful attacks). Given their powerful nature, they are useful for both transformation as an Armored Rider or to summon a high-class Inves. One drawback is that the summoned Inves is in its Advanced State, and if said Inves consumes a Lockseed that summoned it or an entirely different Lockseed, it will evolve into a second form of itself called a Strengthened State (強化体 Kyōka-tai).

Beyond the normal variety of Lockseeds, there exists another brand of Lockseed in the form of Lock Vehicle Lockseeds (ロックビークルロックシード Rokku Bīkuru Rokkushīdo). They are indicated by their rougher design and their theme being based on flowers. Once unlocked, the Lock Vehicles will unfold from their Lockseed Modes into their Vehicle Modes and have the capacity to breach into the Helheim Forest by forming a crack (either at a certain speed or with a beam). Due to these Lockseeds being made mainly as a mode of transportation, Lock Vehicle Lockseeds do not have a Lockseed ranking.

A certain organization has managed to created fully functional artificial and more powerful Lockseeds called Energy Lockseeds (エナジーロックシード Enajī Rokkushīdo) that sacrifices the ability to summon a normal Arms Weapons when used in a Driver, instead of summoning a Sonic Arrow (with the exception of Kamen Rider Kurokage Shin). These particular Lockseeds can only be used by a New Generation Rider with a Genesis Driver, though there is a roundabout way Sengoku Driver-wearing Armored Riders can use Energy Lockseeds. In terms of rankings, Energy Lockseeds are given the general rank of Class S, outranking even the more powerful nature-converted Lockseeds (except skilled users of the Suika Lockseed). Like A-Classed Lockseeds, they are normally unbreakable.

・Lockseed Holder

The Lockseed Holder (ロックシードーホルダー Rokkushīdo Horudā), also known simply as the Lock Holder (ロックホルダー Rokku Horudā), is a strap for Kamen Rider Gaim, located on the right side of his Sengoku Driver.

It is used to carry Lockseeds, making him distinct among the others who lack such a feature. It carries Gaim's three standard Lockseeds (Orange, Pine, and Ichigo). After gained the power of Kiwami Lockseed, Kamen Rider Gaim had gained the second Lockseed Holder for his Energy Lockseeds and replacing his Musou Saber Holster. This Lockseed Holder carries his three Energy Lockseeds (Lemon Energy, Cherry Energy, and Peach Energy).

・Musou Saber Holster

The Musou Saber Holster (無双［ムソウ］セイバーホルスター Musō Seibā Horusutā, lit. "Unrivaled Saber Holster") is a strap for Kamen Rider Gaim's suit located on the left side of their that is used to carry the Musou Saber, making them distinct among the others who lack such a feature. Musou Saber (Kamen Rider Gaim Ver.)

The Musou Saber (無双［ムソウ］セイバー Musō Seibā, lit. "Unrivaled Saber") is Kamen Rider Gaim's side weapon. Haruka can also wield it without transforming first by simply put his Sengoku Driver on his waist.

The Musou Saber can be used as both a sword, which is known as Saber Mode (セイバーモード Seibā Mōdo), and a gun, known as Gun Mode (ガンモード Gan Mōdo), at the same time. To activate the gun portion, the user pulls the Barrett Slide (バレットスライド Baretto Suraido) tab in the back, allowing them to shoot at any range four times.

For Kamen Rider Gaim, the Musou Saber can combine with some of his Arms Weapons to become an alternate mode for more powerful attacks.

The Sakura Hurricane (サクラハリケーン Sakura Harikēn) is the first of the Lock Vehicles available to be used by both Sengoku Riders and Genesis Riders, which is summoned by unlocking the Sakura Hurricane Lockseed. Haruka Kazuraba/Kamen Rider Gaim has used it as his main Rider Machine. The Sakura Hurricane was based on a Honda CRF250L. The code is L.V. 01.

Sakura Hurricane consists of the following parts:

・Shield Chip (シールドチップ Shīrudo Chippu) is the windshield of Sakura Hurricane. It also fulfills the role of radar, and in addition to detecting surrounding conditions during driving, collect data necessary for traveling.

・Bloom Processor (ブルームプロセッサー Burūmu Purosessā) is the flower-shaped control device that controls the function of Sakura Hurricane. It controls all functions such as power system, navigation while driving, support for posture control. Spatial projection display is carried and instruments such as dimension indicator can be projected from here and displayed.

・Dimension Shifter (ディメンションシフター Dimenshon Shifutā) is a cylinder-shaped warp driving device that artificially generates distortion of space or joins the spaces apart together.

・Front Vine (フロントバイン Furonto Bain) is an oscillator installed on the fender, that generates an energy shield to protect passengers and car body from gravity anomalies that occur when passing through a crack in space.

・Petalleaf (ペタルリーフ Petarurīfu) is a cylinder-shaped energy shield oscillator. Cooperate with Front Vine to create an energy shield covering the vehicle body and passengers.

・Ancient Locker (アンチェインドロッカー Ancheindo Rokkā) is the armor to guard the equipment of the rear wheel and power transmission system. It also has the role of protecting the car body from external shocks occurring during sub-space traveling.

・YGE-001 (ワイジーイーゼロゼロワン Waijīī-zerozerowan) is a four-stroke in-line four-cylinder gasoline engine of Sakura Hurricane. By utilizing a part of the output of the dimension shifter with the main power during normal traveling, the ordinary 150% acceleration can be obtained momentarily.

・Bell Housing Drum (ベルハウジングドラム Beru Haujingu Doramu) is a 2-piston-caliper-hydraulic-disc brake. With a strong stopping power, the braking distance is reduced to 40% of the usual braking system.

・Planas Seat (プラナスシート Puranasu Shīto) is the riding seat of Sakura Hurricane. The Tulip Hopper (チューリップホッパー Chūrippu Hoppā) is the fourth of the Lock Vehicles available to be used by both Sengoku Riders and Genesis Riders, which is summoned by unlocking the Tulip Hopper Lockseed. Haruka Kazuraba/Kamen Rider Gaim has used it as his tertiary Rider Machine. The code is L.V. 04.

The machine is armed with various abilities, such as the ability to disguise themselves and the rider as regular red tulips for sneak attacks and defensive traps, and form an incredibly hard defense by folding into their Lockseed forms. Like most Lock Vehicles, Tulip Hoppers can also transport the user from the real world to Helheim Forest, though since its speed is rather lackluster, it instead fires a laser from a tulip emblem in-between the guns, which created a Crack. It also has a turbine in the front below the laser, allowing it to blow away most anything. On the locking arm is a scanning lens, designed to help search for targets.

Like the Dandeliner, it also acts as a weapons systems in the form of laser guns, with the barrels surrounding the turbine's upper corners.

It can fight in close quarter combat as well, relying heavily on their powerful legs to not only move about quickly via jumping, but delivering powerful kicks. Two Tulip Hoppers can tag team together to create punishing attacks on whoever is on the receiving end of them by hooking their locking "locks" together.
