They're also very hinting a the fact Atropos' connection and bond to Rinne is because Atropos is a child like version of Rinne. The way the episode frames it is him watching Fuga read with Rinne, trying to replicate that with his own daughter, which explains why he hasn't subjected his daughter to experiments compared to the other two.
