Hi guys, it's been a while, huh? Yea sorry about that. Almost a year since I last touched this story. This wasn't my intention. I honestly have no idea what I am doing with this story but I am going to try and continue it and also not leave it sitting for a year again. I hope I don't at least. Anyway enjoy chapter 2 of King of the Arena.

*Beep Beep Bee-* *Smash*

Y/n groggily sat up in his bed and checked his alarm clock only to see it is broken from his hit.

Y/n: Damnit, now I need to pick up a new alarm clock after school.

He dragged himself out of his bedroom and to the bathroom where he proceeds to go through his hygiene routine and wake himself up more.

Y/n: It is finally Friday. I should get a message about the DGP for tonight. I just need to get through school first.

Y/n gets back to his room and proceeds to get dressed for school. (Same outfit from Ch 1)

Knowing his 'Mother' had a 'guest' last night he avoids her room and heads straight for the front door. Stopping in at the store for his usual sandwich and coffee. While walking he feels his phone buzz in his pocket. Fishing it out he sees that he has received a text from a Rep at the DGP.

Text: Geats, report to the DGP building at 7pm tonight for your debut in the arena.

Y/n: Alright, my first fight. When I get to the building I will need to ask any of the staff for more info on these fights other than what I was told when I signed up.

He puts his phone back in his pocket and proceeds on his way to school while looking forward to tonight.

*POV Change*

Now we move onto a scene where two teenage girls can be seen conversing while walking to school. They are none other than Alicia and Rachel. Y/n's childhood friends who abandoned him for an unknown reason.

Alicia:

(Imagine the tie is Purple.)

Rachel:

(Imagine her uniform is the same as Alicia's)

Alicia: Rach, what are we going to do about Y/n? We abandoned him for something that wasn't even his fault and now he is so cold and quiet. He barely speaks whenever he's in class. He barely acknowledges anyone outside of teachers.

Rachel, while twirling a strand of her hair: I don't know Ali. We shouldn't have abandoned him. What happened wasn't even his fault but we were young. Now we have left him alone for too long even I don't know how to even begin trying to apologize and get him to hangout with us again.

Alicia: All we can do is try talking to him. Maybe if we can get him to hear us out we can get him to forgive us? It's a long shot but I want him back in my life. I miss his smile, his laugh. *Sigh*

Rachel: Me too. I want him back in my life too. Maybe we can try talking to him after school? It's Friday so we can try and get him to meet us tomorrow and we can try and work things out between us then?

Alicia, Smiling: That is a great idea. I am in his Math class which we have last today so I can try and ask him after class ends?

Both smiling, and hopeful that their plan will work they continue off to school.

*POV Change back to Y/n*

*Timeskip to after school*

After the bell to end the school day Y/n can be seen packing the last of his items away before he leaves school for the last time this week. Mind focused on prepping for tonight. But something was bothering him as throughout the day he has felt 2 pairs of eyes on him constantly. Whenever he discretely looked around he noticed they belonged to Rachel and Alicia.

Y/n: 'Why were they staring at me all day?' he thinks to himself.

Just as he is leaving the classroom he hears from behind him a timid call of his name.

???: Y-Y/n. W-Wait a second.

Turning around he sees that it is Alicia. Rachel has a different subject for this period so she is alone. Turning to look at her, she starts to squirm due to your cold eyes staring at her.

Y/n: What is it Alicia? I have things to do.

Flinching a little at his cold voice she replies.

Alicia: W-Well, Rachel and I were wondering if you wanted to meet us tomorrow and we can catch up? We haven't talked much.

Y/n, while raising an eyebrow slightly: Yea, well two girls telling me to 'leave them alone' and 'never speak to them again' can cause such things to happen. Besides, I can't even if I actually wanted to do that as I am busy this weekend.

After saying that he proceeds to leave, Ignoring Alicia's stuttering calls of his name to get him to come back. Leaving her standing there crying in regret of her actions all those years ago.

Meanwhile, Y/n leaves the school grounds and heads to the store to get a new alarm clock and wait for a few hours until he can head to the DGP. He knows he won't have to deal with his 'Mother' until then as she is usually gone by now to wherever she goes.

*???? POV*

Meanwhile, sitting in a dark room can be seen a single figure sat in a luxurious chair watching a bunch of screens. On these screens are videos of various fights that have been happening in the DGP Arena, Some screens show labs with various monsters can be seen being created and a single screen in the centre showing Y/n walking down the street with a plastic bag in his hand and his school bag in the other.

?????: Soon, Geats. Soon we shall see what kind of impact you will make on the DGP.

Okay I am stopping here as I don't really know how to continue. Next chapter will be Geats first arena fight. Hopefully it won't be a year again before I post it. Fingers crossed.
