It was time to head to fencing class. Suhara was waiting for Kagami to pick him up, usually, he's fine when Kagami arranges for her car to pick him up. But this time he had an unsettling feeling in his stomach, ever since she and Adrian broke up.

Ever since that week, Kagami has been choosing Suhara as her sparring partner and because of that, he has been unfocused more than usual.

The Tsurugi Family car came with Kagami sitting in the back seat. She opens the door for Suhara and he enters in.

Timeskip

Suhara and Kagami were sparring together. Their swords continuously clash against each other and Kagami kept on laying a hit on Suhara, but he didn't even have his sword touch her body.

The first sparring match ended and Suhara grunted upset. He threw his sword to the ground, then his helmet off his head, then his gloves, and finally his top cover.

Everyone stares at him confused.

Kagami follows him into the locker room.

She sees him punching the locker with water-conjured gloves covering his hands. Suhara kept punching, and punching, and punching, and punching... 

Until Kagami stopped him.

She convinced him to sit down on a bench as he sees the dents he made on the locker.

Kagami had finally decided to break the silence between them.

Kagami: What's going on Suhara? You used to be calm and focused, but ever since I broke up with Adrian... 

She paused to look at Suhara directly in the face.

Kagami: You've been distracted and frustrated. What's really going on? I know you Suhara. You never lie, so... tell me.

Suhara then finally spoke.

Suhara: Why did you love Adrian?

Kagami was confused about Suhara's question.

Suhara: Every lie he comes up with leaves you alone and heartbroken. He always stood you up and lied to you. How can you love someone like that?

Kagami: I loved him because I thought he was like a reflection of myself. He was the first person who was nice to me ever since I arrived here. I thought he was the one. But he's not. Why does this bother you so much?

Suhara: It bothers me because... I love you, Kagami.

Kagami was shocked to hear what her long-generation rival said.

Suhara: I loved you, ever since I first met you. When I first met you, I thought I would already dislike you, but instead, I fell in love with you.

Kagami: Suhara... How...? You never showed any signs. And a Serizawa never lies. Not even by choice.

Suhara: I cast a secret spell on myself. The spell prevents me from telling the secret I wish to remain a secret.

Kagami then took a few seconds to think about what Suhara said.

Kagami: Did you really fall in love with me at first sight?

Suhara: At first, I didn't think I fell in love with you. But when I started to get to know you more I started to get attracted to you. At the movie premiere, I was going to confess my love, but you fell in love with Adrian... I-I then got jealous. I wanted to do every

Kagami: I didn't know, Suhara. I'm sorry.

She then started to shed a tear from her left eye. Suhara then wipes the tear off her face.

Kagami: If I have known that you love me, I would have gone out with you.

Suhara: But you do realize that we can't be together. As long as our families are rivals, they will ensure we won't see each other. If we do go out, we would have to keep it a secret and I can't lie... You would have to lie for me.

Kagami: What about that Secret Spell?

Suhara: That spell can only be cast upon a person once and the spell is broken when the person reveals his or her secret.

Kagami: If I have to lie for you... For the sake of us being together... Then I will take that burden. Because I love you too.

Suhara was shocked to hear what Kagami said. Kagami looks down to her feet with a regretful look. She felt that she should have never confessed her true feelings for Suhara.

Suhara then spoke.

Suhara: When did you...?

Kagami: Marinette tried to get me and Adrian back together when I saw that she and Adrian were meant to be, I then found out that... You were meant for me.

Suhara then saw another tear drop from her eye and wipe it off. He then uses his magic to conjure the tears into a rose and froze it to be holdable.

Suhara then gave it to Kagami.

Kagami stares at the rose having a flashback of Adrian giving her a rose.

Kagami: Won't it melt?

Suhara: No. I cast a mimic spell. The spell allows any object I conjured made out of water to act and feel like the actual object.

Kagami then accepts the rose and then sniffs it. She couldn't believe that the ice rose felt and smells like an actual rose.

(Scene Change)

The two then when back to sparring, but this time, Suhara was able to focus and lay a hit on Kagami.

They pause their sparring to raise their masks off for a talk.

Kagami: You are finally back to your normal self. There's the strong and kind Suhara I fell in love with.

Suhara: What can I say? You're the only one for me, Kagami.

Kagami blushes by that comment.

Timeskip

Suhara and Kagami arrived at André's Ice Cream cart.

André gives him a double scoop cone.

Suhara takes the ice cream.

As they were about to take a spoon scoop Suhara sees his father. He then takes Kagami's hand to a bench and casts a spell to hide both him and Kagami.

Suhara Sr. goes up to André's cart and gets some ice cream. As he gets his ice cream, he quickly goes down to the canal, eats his ice cream in one bite, and dives into the canal.

Suhara then disbands the spell then he and Kagami try to enjoy their ice cream and their alone time.

Timeskip

Kagami meets up with Suhara at the park after kendo training with her mother, where Suhara came out of the water from trident combat training with his father.

As they were about to kiss, Kagami see her mother in the car coming toward her. She then pushed Suhara into the water.

She then faces he mother.

Kagami: Mother, what are you doing here.

Tomoe: I just came here to give you your phone.

Tomoe then shows Kagami's phone in her hand.

Kagami: Oh, I must have dropped it.

She then takes her phone back and bows to her mother.

Kagami: Thank you, Mother.

Tomoe: Just be home by dusk, okay?

Kagami: Yes, Mother.

As her mother goes back to the car. Kagami quickly kneels on the river bank with her eyes staring at the water, when all of sudden, Suhara swims up to the surface and pecks a kiss on the lips.

Kagami smiles and was glad that Suhara wasn't mad at her for pushing him into the river.

They then continue kissing each other on the lips.

Kagami doesn't even complain about how wet Suhara's lips were.

For weeks, Kagami and Suhara continue their dating secretly. Nobody has any idea about their forbidden relationship. Not even their friends know about it.
