'This story begins 15 Earth Realm years ago before Durandal and Sabela, where it tells the tale of a world where the Serizawa family rules; The Ocean Realm.'

The planet was shown to be completely covered by water.

'A world where everything is underwater. The cities, the villages, the gardens, even the people were under because they can breathe underwater.'

A young boy swims quickly in the ocean. 

'Suhara Serizawa loves the Ocean Realm. He loves the animals, the coral reefs that shelter life, and even the schools.'

The young boy swims up to a really gigantic submarine with other children swam up to it.

The submarine was revealed to be a school that travels all over the oceans of different worlds.

'Suhara only goes to school for one reason. To make friends and to have his independence.' 

All the kids walk down the stairs to their class, while a few kids give Suhara his space. 

'It's not like he didn't like going to school, it's just he doesn't need to go. He's a very unique kid.'

The class has a lecture and Suhara answers all questions given to him. Every question there was he got them all correct.

(Scene Change)

'But there is one thing in school that he couldn't stand. And that something was therapy sessions after school.'

In Dr. Lakecus Office, he was assigned with Suhara in his current session.

Lakecus: Alright, Your Majesty, shall we get started? 

Suhara: Why, of course, doctor.

The young prince then analyzes the chair the doctor sits on.

Lakecus: Ah, you recognize my chair, then?

Suhara: Why yes. It looks like one of the chairs I use at the castle in Amphibia City.

Lakecus: That's because it was once used in your castle. My great grandfather acquired it a century ago. But now... let's get to our session.

Suhara: Why of course.

Lakecus: Well, my prince, for this session, I wish to ask you a series of questions, for the first one; is there anyone in your class that you don't use your royal status with?

Suhara: Why I don't use my royal status on anyone during class. I don't manipulate anyone in school with my royal status.

The therapist was suspicious about Suhara's comment and thought of saying something else.

Lakecus: But, I believe that you don't treat the people around you as an equal.

Suhara: That's not true. I respect all my friends and classmates.

Lakecus: Like who, for example?

Suhara: My best friend Arthur. His ability to talk with marine animals is unique.

Dr. Lakecus was suspicious of Suhara's comment again. 

Lakecus: Okay, but is there anyone besides Arthur, you respect?

Suhara looks at the therapist with disappointment.

Suhara: I think you know the answer to that, doctor. Also, we don't allow fakes in the castle.

Lakecus: Fake?!

Suhara: The skin of the chair is Humpback Whale skin, the castle uses chairs with Sperm Whale skin. Also, the crosses that keep the leather held to the wood look machine-made. Your great grandfather has been duped.

Lakecus: My liege, the whole point of this session is to find out why you act like this. So I ask you this again; who do you think you are, your majesty?

Suhara: I think my biography answers your question. How much have you read up on it?

Lakecus: Well, there was your mother, who died the same day you were born. I am so sorry for your loss. And also, your father the king. I wonder, my prince, is this because you had to endure your father's name, or is it because of the loss of your mother?

Suhara: Neither. It's because this therapy session bothers me more than never getting to know my own mother.

After hearing what his patient said, he had no choice, but to excuse the young prince home.

'As told Suhara's a unique kid. And mainly because he was raised in a unique place in the Ocean Realm. Lords and Lass, welcome to Amphibia City. The capital of the Ocean Realm'

Suhara swims quickly underwater as he reaches the only floating island in the realm. Suhara jumps out of the water and land on the streets of the city. He then started running to the castle.

'The only reason Amphibia City is never mentioned in any kind of stories about sunken cities is that this city never sank to the bottom of the ocean. The capital of the Ocean Realm was the only city that floats on the surface of the ocean.'

Suhara runs downtown, jumping over movers, sliding under platforms, surfing on water fountains, he even ran on the walls of buildings. As he runs through the city, he always greets everyone who says hello to him.

'The second thing that young Prince Suhara enjoys more than going to school to be social with others, is to rush home to see his father at the castle.'

A man wearing a suit and crown looks out the window. 

'King Suhara Serizawa Sr. Genius Marine Anthropologist and King of the Ocean Realm.'

Scene Change

In the castle, King Suhara Sr. was giving Prince Suhara Jr. lessons that he doesn't learn in school while walking around the castle.

'When Suhara Jr. comes home, Suhara Sr. teaches his son the stories of the time when the Ocean Realm used to have continents like other realms. Times when all the cities of the world were above the ocean. He taught him about all other realms, trident fighting, and how to pilot a submarine, he even told the stories of King Arthur himself.'

Suhara Sr. was writing something in his journal. 

'But he was really getting Suhara Jr. ready for his time to take his place. As king'

Suhara Jr. came into the living room to see his father.

Suhara Sr.: Junior, glad that you're here. I need to discuss something with you.

Junior sat on a chair across from Senior.

Suhara: What is it, father?

Suhara Sr.: Tomorrow, there's going to be a meeting in Atlantis. I need you to be there when I give a speech to the world.

Suhara: What is it about, father?

Suhara Sr.: All I can say is; that someday, your time to no longer be a prince to become.

Junior looked to the ground in concern about what Senior said. The king continues.

Suhara Sr.: Soon, it will be your time that Kaiji will make you its swordsman.

Suhara: Why are you saying this, father?

Suhara Sr.: All stories have endings that make you smile and others begin a new story, and my story is going to end soon, so someday your story is going to begin.

Junior looks away from his father with a sad face knowing that it will be the last day he's going to see his father's face.

Suhara Sr.: Junior, go and pack your things. We're leaving for the Land Realm after the meeting.

Junior continues to stay silent. Senior then think about how to lighten his spirit.

Suhara Sr.: Junior, come here.

The prince gets up and comes up to his father as he hugs him.

Suhara Sr.: I love you so much, son.

Suhara: Then why can't we stay here, father?

Suhara Sr.: Your all I have, Junior. I can't risk your safety when I'm gone. Vulko will watch you when you return to this realm.

The father and son began to walk out of the castle.

(Scene Change)

The two walk into a giant submarine a size of a Whale Shark, waiting for them at the docks.

Suhara Jr. lays down on his bed, while Suhara Sr. stands near the captain's helm on the bridge. The submarine began to dive into the ocean and the crew of the vessel charted a course to Atlantis.

Suhara: Captain! Set a course to Atlantis.

Captain: Yes, your majesty. We will make our way to the city tomorrow.

On the next day, the submarine had made it to Atlantis. The giant marine machine prepares to dock near the coliseum of Atlantis.

As the sub docks, an old man walks up to the bridge.

Nuidis Vulko

The two royals then exit the sub. The old man goes up to them to greet them.

Vulko: My king, it is an honor to see you again.

Suhara Sr.: It is an honor to see you too, old friend.

'Nuidis Vulko. Four years of technical training in Tokyo, Japan. Seven years of weapons training in Moscow, Russia. And ten years of marine science training in Honolulu, Hawaii. And under no circumstances does anyone call him, Nuidis. They call him, Vulko, Dr. Vulko, or Prof. Octopus. But call him Nuidis, and he will feed you to the fishes.'

As Suhara Jr. joins his father, Suhara Sr. introduces his friend to his son.

Suhara Sr.: Junior, this is the chief scientist and an old friend of my Nuidis Vulko.

Vulko: It's a pleasure to finally meet you, my prince.

Suhara: The pleasure is all mine, Vulko.

The three of them start to swim into the coliseum.

Suhara Sr.: Remember Junior, someday you will have to attend these announcements to the people. You are to be the next King of the Ocean Realm and eventually become the next Kamen Rider Durandal.

Suhara: I still don't understand why our family became Durandal for sixty generations.

Vulko: It is been told that the original Serizawa, at the time when the Ocean Realm had continents, made a blood bond with the Holy Sword of Time. As a swordsman makes a pact with the sword will be the swordsman to thus sword for generations until the swordsman dies without an heir.

Suhara Sr.: That is the only way to break the bond between the swordsman and the sword. That is what I have been told by the alchemist. But the worst part of being Durandal is having to deal with the nagging by Sabela.

Suhara: Ah, the Tsurugi Clan. Our family's feuding enemy. I already read the history between our families. The original Serizawa tried to stop Gunmar the Black, but instead, his reckless action cause him to lose half the amount of soldiers to win the war. Then the original Tsurugi, the first swordswoman in the world, intervenes in the battle and saved him. After the enemy was sealed into Dark Realm, to cover the Serizawa family's shame, we prevented the people from the true history of the battle of Killawarra Bridge and tell them that we gained assistance from a Tsurugi instead.

Vulko: I see your son has brushed up on his history.

Suhara Sr.: I am truly proud from my son. Taking the name Serizawa as much as he can.

They made it to the center of the coliseum.

Where world leaders of the Ocean Realm were waiting on the King of the Realm.

Suhara Sr.: When the meeting is over we will embark on our journey to live among the people of the Land Realm.

Suhara: Why do I have to live among the Surface Dwellers?

Vulko: The King... I mean, your father believes that you live among other people, who don't know your royal status, will be a splendid way to start anew. You only befriend others because they know you. Your father thought a fresh start will help you interact with others in a new realm.

They then hear a horn blow like a whale sound.

Vulko: My King. It is time.

Suhara Sr.: Thank you, Vulko. 

The king then looks at his son.

Suhara Sr.: Son, I need you to get ready to travel to the Land Realm after the meeting.

Suhara: Yes, father.

Suhara Sr.: Good.

He then faces Vulko.

Suhara Sr.: Vulko, I need you to watch Junior if anything happens to me.

Vulko bows to his king.

Vulko: I'll be honored to be a temporary guardian for the prince of the realm.

The king then left for the meeting, while Suhara and Vulko left for their penthouse in the coliseum.

(Scene Change)

As Suhara made it to the center table with all nine leaders of the Ocean Realm.

Suhara: I'm glad you all can make it. I now hereby call this meeting of the seven kingdoms of the Ocean Realm to order. For those who were able to attend in-person and those who are stationed in their kingdom via hologram.

A yellow light then shines over a mermaid ambassador.

Lila: Queen Lila Stormbreaker of the Fishermen Kingdom

A navy blue light then shines over a humanoid shark king.

Nanaue: King Nanaue of the Deserter Kingdom

A purple light then shines over a Xana princess.

Eri: Princess Eri Orion of the Brine Kingdom.

A sky blue light then shines over a young man with gills on his neck.

Ant: Prince Antaeus Nekton of Lemuria.

A green light then shines over a woman in a kelp-like dress.

Mera: Princess Mera of the Xebal Kingdom.

A black-light then shines over a woman with octopus tentacles as feet.

Ursula: Ursula of the Trench.

A pink light then shines over a young man in a techno suit.

Alpheus: Alpheus Benthos of the Bermuda Border.

An orange light then shines over another young man in a fish-scale-like suit.

Arthur: Prince Arthur Curry of Atlantis.

And finally, a yellow light shines over Suhara.

Suhara: And you all know who I am, Suhara Serizawa Sr. Kamen Rider Durandal, ambassador of Amphibia City, and your most trusted king of the realm.

Nanaue: Trust goes both ways, Serizawa. My people have heard rumors that you are abandoning your post to your son while he's still young. I tried to tell them that those were false accusations. I'm starting to lose the trust of my people because of that.

Ant: And why is it wrong to have a young ruler. According to the law of Lemuria, only the youngest member of the Lemurian royal family can become king or queen.

Alpheus: Ant, cousin. That is true, but, the law of the Realm is that the eldest member of a royal family must be king. And the Serizawa family has been the ruler of the realm for sixty generations.

Ursula then slams her fist on the table.

Ursula: That's right! How long can we all live under a Serizawa's rule?! Many Serizawas have made my people slaves at the time of King Arthur! The time when we had land! I say we need a new ruler!

Nanaue: I'm with Ursula! We need a new ruler!

Everybody then started shouting at each other about who rules the realm.

Suhara: Enough! 

Suhara then slams his trident to the ground to make a sonic sound to silence everybody.

Suhara: Look! I know everyone judging my choice of rule, but I truly do my best to restore my family's honor.

Ursula: And what honor would that be?

Suhara: The honor of protecting the people of the realm.

Suhara then sits back on his chair.

Suhara: Now to the matter at hand. On why I called this meeting, I have been called to help Sword of Logos to stop a threat that is going to destroy even our realm in 4 years. The reason why I called you all here is because I need someone to act as regent while my son and I lives among the humans of the Land Realm. Let us put it to a vote. 

Arthur: I nominate, myself.

Ursula: I nominate, myself.

Mera: I vote for Arthur.

Nanaue: I vote for Arthur.

Lila: I too vote for Arthur.

Alpheus: I vote for Arthur.

Ant: I vote for Arthur.

Eri: I vote for Ursula.

Lila: I vote for Arthur.

A holographic screen then shows a picture of Arthur and Ursula with the numbers 6 and 2.

Suhara: Then it is settled. Prince Arthur will act as regent of the Ocean Realm until my son is old enough and when he returns.

Arthur then stands up.

Arthur: I will be honored to lead the realm in your place.

The holograms of Antaeus and Alpheus dissipate and all the in-person leaders left to their penthouse of the coliseum.

Suhara Sr. enters the penthouse to see his son is ready to for the journey.

Suhara Sr.: I see you are ready to leave.

He then closed the door behind him.

Suhara: Does everybody really think our family is nothing but liars?

The king sighs from that comment and answers.

Suhara Sr.: Some of the people do, son. But you should know; a Serizawa is known by many things...

Vulko: But a liar isn't one of them.

Suhara Sr.: Remember Junior, no matter what people say, you're a Serizawa always tell the truth.

Suhara: Of course, father.

The two Suharas and Vulko then exit the penthouse and into the submarine. The submarine moves through the sea where a pod of dolphins swam by it. Sea turtles riding the current waves.

The submarine then starts to depart to the Bermuda Border.

Suhara then takes out a book called; 'The Story of the Ocean Realm'. He opens the book and reads the story.

"The story of the Ocean Realm begins in 560 CE. Where evil was sealed away and the swordsmen created the many realms of the multiverse. For twelve years, many cities were on land and the people of the realm created technology far more advanced than anything in any realm."

The Royal Sub starts to arrive at the gate

"But many people got greedy with that power and as for punishment, the original King of the Realm sank all the cities and land of the realm except for his own home city. But thanks to evolution the people of the realm evolved to have gills, webbed feet, and even some with tails. They then rebuild their cities and their technology continue to advance."

The sub then made its way to the gate of the border control.

A large shield on each side of the Bermuda Triangle.

A guard in a small sub advanced to the large sub.

Guard: State your name and business!

Suhara Sr.: This is King Suhara Serizawa Sr. My business here is to escort the Prince of the Realm to the Land Realm.

Guard: Of course, my king.

The guard activates his com set.

Guard: Open the gate!

The gates start to open and the sub advance through the gap.

Vulko goes into Suhara's room and sees him reading the Story of the Ocean Realm.

Vulko: I see you are reading the beginning of our world, your highness.

Suhara: Yes. I just wish to read something so I can remember my home.

Vulko: Well, before we reach the safe house, you should get to the part of the Bermuda border.

Suhara: I'm getting to it.

"The Atlanteans and Lemurians then discovered a portal between the Land Realm and the Ocean Realm. They then agreed to make a few of their people guard the portal when planes and ships first enter the realm."

The sub then teleports from the Ocean Realm to the Land Realm. The gate then closed behind them.

"The King Arion Serizawa, the first son of Erik Serizawa, declared that only royal blood may be permitted to cross the realms."

The sub made its way to the Land Realm and charts its route to Japan.

"As more people of the Land Realm try to learn about the Bermuda Triangle, the royal families of the Ocean Realm do their best to keep it secret. The Serizawa Royal family then made it so that only a member of their family may cross the two worlds."

The sub has finally made its way to the Japanese ocean. The sub then projects a hologram to look like a yacht on the surface.

"As many Serizawas travels from one world to another to prevent people of the Land Realm to know the existence of the Ocean Realm. To the Ocean Realm, a Serizawa is a king, but in the Land Realm, a Serizawa is a marine researcher."

Vulko and Suhara Jr. and Sr. then exit the ship and approach a large building to a penthouse. 

'In the Ocean Realm, a Serizawa is a king or a prince. But in the Land Realm, a Serizawa is a renowned marine researcher. For every generation, a Serizawa visits the Land Realm to help the researchers of the realm learn about the sea.'

There were many servants waiting for them. They all greet Serizawas in the penthouse.

Suhara Sr.: Go settle yourself in your room.

Suhara then left to his own personal of the safe house. He sees a set of clothes for him, a cell phone, a jacket, and a photo of his mother and father on their first date.

"For everyone who has a secret, the Serizawa's is that every member of the family steals one piece of marine artifacts to keep the World of the Sea hidden. But one day there were two pieces: a sword that harnessed water and a flute that communicate to whales. But only one was real. Which one did Erin Serizawa take?"

Vulko and Suhara Sr. then enter Suhara's room.

Vulko: Young prince, have you finished your book?

Suhara: Yes, Vulko.

Suhara Sr.: That's good. What is your favorite part?

Suhara: My favorite is where the Atlanteans and the Lemurians became the guards of the portal between the realms.

Suhara Sr.: I see. 

Vulko: By the way, every year we have to travel the world to two different countries.

Suhara Sr.: Of course, Vulko.

Vulko: After this year, we will go to Paris. Then in the next 3 years, we go back to Japan.

Suhara: Okay, so what will I do for the rest of the year?

Vulko: You will be going to a university under a scholarship of your father's name. 

Suhara: Of course.

Suhara Sr.: Junior. You will manage this change.

Suhara: Why did we have to move?

Senior then sigh and then become ready to reveal the truth.

Suhara Sr.: The truth is that... Sword of Logos has contacted me and said that in 4 years the enemy will attack in the land realm of Japan. So for the next 3 years, you will be in Paris.

Suhara: But why do I have to go to college here for a year?

Suhara Sr.: Because we need to have a cover story for you and a Serizawa can't lie. Remember why we can lie?

Suhara then remembered why.

Suhara: Okay. Understood.

Suhara Sr.: The Tsurugi Family already knows. So you will meet her daughter when you leave for Paris.

Suhara: Okay.

(Scene Change)

Suhara then came out of the limousine to see to Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Etchujima Campus. Where many students enter the campus. Suhara went into the classroom, he passed every class he was assigned to and in one year he got his Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology.

(Scene Change)

A year later, Suhara and Vulko left the building to the garage. Where a limousine waits for them.

The driver of the limousine started to drive them out of the garage and en route to an airport.

Timeskip

Suhara started to wake up in his private jet. He looks out of the window to see the clouds in the sky.

Vulko: First time flying on a plane, my prince?

Suhara: Yes, Vulko.

Senior then tries to comfort his son.

Suhara Sr.: Hey. Most of our family members who first came to the Land Realm feel very antsy on their first flight.

He then gives Suhara a cup of tea. Suhara takes the cup and takes a sip of it.

Suhara: Land Realm tea tastes a lot better than Ocean Realm tea.

Vulko: That would be because in the Land Realm they use leaves for their tea, not kelp.

Suhara: So that's why.

The camera then zooms out of the window to show what the jet looks like.

The jet's wings each had the Serizawa family symbol on each end.

(Scene Change)

The jet then lands on the runway of the airport and a limousine waited for them.

They enter the limousine. The driver of the limousine went en route to a hotel.

Suhara: Where will we stay?

Suhara Sr.: Le Grand Paris. A luxury hotel. I once stayed there when I was on a business trip as a Marine Anthropologist.

Suhara: Okay.

He said with a gloomy expression. Vulko noticed it and tries to leave him be.

(Scene Change)

The limousine stops at the hotel's front door.

Vulko comes out of the limousine first, then he opens the door for the son and father. As Suhara Jr. exits the limousine first, he looks up at the hotel to see how mildly luxurious it looks on the outside. Suhara Sr. exits right behind him.

Vulko then gets the luggage out of the trunk and they start to enter the hotel. As they make their way to the receptionist's desk when they were going to register for a room when all of a sudden...

???: Nuidis Vulko! Suhara Serizawa!

They turn around to see a man with a red, white, and blue sash.

Vulko: André Bourgeois. For the last time, everyone only calls me Vulko.

André: I'm sorry M. Vulko.

He then noticed Suhara next to him.

André: And who might be the young man.

Suhara Sr.: This young man, is my son Suhara Serizawa Jr...

A few of the staff and some young teens were listening to their conversation.

Marinette and Alya whisper to each other.

Marinette: Who's Suhara Serizawa?

Alya: He's a world-renowned Marine Anthropologist. Suhara Serizawa Sr. has studied many cultures that live on the coast of every country. He even proved the existence of Atlantis.

Marinette: He really proved all that?

Alya nodded.

Alya: It turns out to be a large piece of land with large mountains that look like buildings of a city in the Atlantic Ocean that sunk to the bottom. But there was proof that people called Atlanteans, but were just like people of the middle ages, but they had more advanced machines than they had at that time.

Marinette: Really?!

Alya: Yep. His son, Suhara Serizawa Jr., is a prodigy in marine biology. He's 18 and he completed college in Japan. In one year.

Marinette: One year?!

Suhara: It actually took me 11 months and 29 days.

They got shocked that Suhara heard them.

Suhara: I also have really good hearing.

André: I apologize for the children's behavior. Should I excuse them for you, sir?

Suhara Sr.: That would not be a problem. My son is known to eavesdrop on a lot of people.

Suhara: Yes. Forgive me, father.

Suhara: Sr.: As long as you don't do it again. And you don't have to make the children apologize.

André: Are you sure?

Vulko then intervenes.

Vulko: If Suhara Sr. says he's fine then he's fine. Never ask a Serizawa twice.

Suhara Sr. then pushes Vulko away gently.

Suhara Sr.: And now, our room, please?

André: Yes, of course. The usual room.

André then gave Vulko and Suhara Jr. and Sr. their room key. Vulko then takes Suhara's luggage to their room.

They enter the room to see how spacious it was.

Suhara Sr.: It might not be a castle or a penthouse in Japan. But at least they'll let us stay for 3 years.

Suhara: That's good. It's better than nothing.

Suhara still feels gloomy. Vulko knew his best friend's son was feeling homesick so he tries to think of a to cheer the young prince up.

Vulko: Look Suhara, I know living in another country will be difficult to process, but you will manage, my prince, eventually.

Suhara: I might. Thank you, Vulko.

Vulko: Now why don't you swim in the canals of the city? Maybe that will help you clear your mind with this change.

Suhara: Good idea. I will.

Suhara then leave to the canal edge and made it to the bank of the canal. He then jumps into the water where he grew his gills on his neck.

(Scene Change)

Suhara Sr. and Vulko watch him swim from their room.

Suhara Sr.: That grateful for you to tell him that.

Vulko: My King, when it was my first time in the Land Realm I manage to live here by swimming in the canals. The young prince will be able to clear his mind there.

Suhara Sr.: I thank you for the help, old friend.
