chapter two.
taehyung slumped on his chair, his long, slender fingers tapping the desk as he listened to his friend in pure boredom.
"you left your camera on her table on purpose? what is going on with you, kim fucking taehyung?" his friend yelled in worry from the other line of the call.
"jimin, i'm getting tired of stalking her." he said as if it wasn't a thing to worry about.
he was an expert when it came to stalking since he knew everything about her, from the time she came to what she liked drinking while in the cafe. but not only did he feel wrong about it, he was also tired of chasing her for weeks. there was nothing he could gain from clicking pictures of her everyday. her secret admirer was what he liked to call himself and later explained the term as, "the ones who are a part of someone's life without letting their presence known".
"you also could have approached her!" his friend named jimin exclaimed, tired from his friend's unexplainable actions.
"and? say 'hello, i'm your secret admirer who has been clicking pictures of you for a while now. would you like to be my muse?'" he asked, obvious.
his friend sighed. "shut your cringy mouth with your unrealistic remarks, that's called a certified stalker. did reality never hit you?" he remarked in an irritated voice.
"well, i would have never handed her my camera if reality never hit me." he deadpanned.
"as if giving her your camera makes it any better than that," jimin muttered irritatedly.
"you're cute when you get mad."
"shut up. i'm having a headache here. poor girl, she must be feeling bad for something she isn't at fault," he muttered. "catch you later." with that his friend hung up the call, making taehyung chuckle.
he glanced at the clock which sat on his desk, his eyes widening before he slumped out of his chair and walked to his closet, going through his collections of beige, chocolate and tan coloured outfits. from them, he picked a beige turtleneck sweater paired with a camel coat and brown trousers. once he was dressed in them, he set a brown beret on his brushed up hair, all ready to meet his muse. he looked at the long mirror sitting at the corner of his room for one last time, checking his perfectly suited attire which complimented his lean figure.
he walked on the busy streets with an umbrella over his head saving him from the drizzles. the cold air lingered around the atmosphere along with the pitter patter of the rain, his outfit being perfect for a crisp weather.
if everyone saw the world from his eyes, the world might have been a better place. he found beauty in everything he noticed. even the tiny droplets of water falling from the sky. but sometimes it was hard for him to part from the things he found amusing. he longed to stay there but he couldn't. after discovering photography and deciding to stick with it, he found her. she was like a rainbow after rain who sparkled her band of colours in the clear sky, spreading her colours everywhere and leaving the spectators in awe. ever since then, he wanted her to be the subject of every picture he captured and will capture.
he finally reached his destination yet this time, instead of entering the building, he stood near the damp glass window, his alluring eyes focused on the ones he came looking for.
