"Wake up Y/n, we have to leave in an hour!" That's the first thing you heard when you woke up. Your friend F/n wanted to meet a YouTuber she liked and she was dragging you along. "Come on, let's get moving. I want to meet Max today, not in ten years." You groaned before getting up and getting ready. F/n didn't tell you much about this guy she wanted to meet, the only things you knew were that he was a YouTuber and he was Australian. "Lets gooooo." F/n said. You ended up leaving her house shortly after and you were soon on your way to Oceanside, California where he was having the meet up. You looked out the window as everything went by before deciding to ask F/n more about this guy.
"So, can you tell me more about Max?" You saw F/n smile before telling you more about him. You listened to her say how he lives in Australia and that he comes here because one of his good friends lives here in Oceanside and that she thought his humor and content was great. You kept listening a bit longer before she decided that she told you enough and you went back to listening to the quiet music playing in the car. You started to wonder why you came with F/n in the first place because you started thinking about the other things you could be doing and you felt a bit strange going to the meet up without knowing who this guy was till a few days ago. You were thinking that this meet up would probably be okay and that Max seemed cool. At least F/n will like going, a lot. "We have about fifteen more minutes!" F/n said excitedly. You smiled before replying, "You sound excited." F/n looked at you and smiled before saying "You have no idea." You two soon got to Oceanside and F/n seemed super excited, you were happy that she was happy. You soon got out of the car and looked at F/n to see what you two were doing next. "We have to walk a bit down the street, we aren't that far from where we should be going." She said before grabbing your hand excitedly and jogging towards where the meet up is. You soon got to where the meet up was and including you and F/n, there were about 20 people there. F/n let go of your hand and you saw her start to smile really wide. You looked to see who she was smiling at. You recognized Max and someone else meeting fans. "Who's the other guy?" You asked. F/n told you his name was Ian and you thought you recognized him from memes. "Quit gawking at them loser." You joked with F/n. She blushed before looking away and looking at the ocean. You and F/n talked a bit more and soon you got to meet Max and Ian. (I've never been to a YouTuber meetup so I'm just going to imagine that this is what it'll be like :P) You looked at F/n and saw how excited she seemed when you two got to meet Max and Ian. "Hi I'm F/n, I'm a huge fan." You smiled before saying, "I'm Y/n, the friend that got dragged here to meet you two. Not that I'm complaining, you two seem cool." The guys both laughed before F/n and you both talked to them a bit about random things. You got pictures with them and Max offered to take a picture of You, F/n, and Ian. You gave him your phone and he smiled before taking it. After taking it he asked if he could send it to Ian because he thought that Ian would like a picture with his fans and you said it was fine. You and F/n soon said goodbye. After getting back to the car, you looked at the pictures you took and F/n showed you the pictures she got on her phone. You went on your messages at the picture of You, Ian, and F/n to see that the message was sent to a contact named 'Maxie'. You smiled and looked at F/n before turning off your phone. "Want to walk around Oceanside while we're here?" F/n looked at you before nodding and you two left the car again to go walk around a bit. You started thinking about the fact that you had Max's phone number and that made you feel a bit giddy. Is Max already making you feel this way?
