Chapter 7
It was supposed to be a normal day. Colby, Falcon, Julia, Zack, and Kallus were supposed to wake up, eat breakfast, train, have lunch, meditate, read, have dinner, chat, and go to bed. It was that simple. This happened every day, for all of their lives. It wasn't that hard to follow a habit like that.
But you see...
Today wasn't a normal day....
In fact....
It was the day that changed their lives forever....
Maybe it was their death day.
Maybe it was the day they finally became couples (excluding Kallus.)
Maybe it was the day where they finally had meatless Mondays (petition started by Julia.)
Or maybe....
Just maybe....
It was the day that their world's fell apart, and were mended together again with a bunch of duct tape. When I mean a bunch...
I mean a whole planet of Courscant full of duct tape.
Their day fell apart when Yoda had an emergency meeting with all of the Jedi master's, leaving all of the padawans in the library. The library was remodeled from Grevious's attack, but no one visited it enough to actually notice any minor changes.
Julia and Zack were cuddling in a chair, staying close to one another.
Falcon was trying to teach Caleb something that he didn't understand.
Kallus was staring at a girl. She had long black hair, and blue eyes... or, one blue eye. Her other eye, her right eye, had a long scar across it. It went from the tip of her eye, to her cheek. Her scarred eye color was a grayish -blue color. Kallus was wondering where she came from. She looked around 16, but he thought she looked awfully close to a sith. He was about to go up and talk to her, but the whole Jedi temple suddenly rumbled.
All the padawans jumped to their feet, a few of them dodging falling debris.
Obi Wan ran in. "Evacuate the temple! This is a level 1 emergency. Take your sabers with you, but do not panic."
Everyone rushed out the door, despite Obi Wans warning to stay calm.
The padawans rushed outside, some of them being met with blaster shots. Star destroyers hovered over the planet of Courscant, many inquisitors and siths appearing out of shuttles. All the clones were suddenly firing at the Jedi.
What was this? Was it complete madness? Was it all just a dream?
The padawans grouped up, the medical experts heading to the meeting tower as other head Jedi raced there as well. The others fought off against the Empire while the other ones discussed what to do.
Zack and the group were hidden in the back lines, their sabers ready. Kallus was trembling a bit, his eyes wide.
Suddenly, there was a flash of white light, and all the padawans were pushed backwards. Kallus fell unconscious, but the other four skidded to a not too far away distance. In a matter of moments, one of the sith was holding Kallus with an evil smirk.
Zack eyes widened. "No! Leave him alone!" His pleas were drowned out, as padawans were taken out, one by one. The Sith dissapeared with Kallus.
Julia suddenly got backed into a fight with an inquisitor, mostly losing till Zack joined in with her. They fought back to back.
When the Jedi master's returned from the tower, they started to defend against the Empire.
After many countless hours of fighting, Caleb was about to be killed by many clones surrounding him, but Master Billiba stepped in just in time to save him... but at the cost of her own life. Caleb cried over her, trying to listen to her last words.
Falcon keeled beside Caleb, listening to the instructions Master Billiba gave her, realising Master Billiba wasn't talking to Caleb. She grabbed Caleb's hand, and started to run to one of the shuttles.
Caleb tried to pull away, his hand reaching for the one who raised him. The one who taught him everything he knew. The one who was like a mother to him and Falcon.
Master Billiba watched her two padawans go away. "Falcon...Caleb... Run..." She breathed out, before falling limp.
Zack knew he and Julia were losing. In fact, he didn't see any padawans around. Half of the sith were taken out, but at the cost of over 3/4 of the Jedi. Why were the clones against him. He hoped Ahsoka and Rex were okay. He knew him and Julia would die if they stayed any longer. With deep regret, he pulled Julia away from the battles.
Away from their home, their friends.
Away from everything they knew.....
They had to leave it all behind...
It the next minute, they were in a ship headed to the nearest planet. The ship was tight, and low on fuel. Hopefully, the others would also regroup on another planet.... but they didn't.
As Obi Wan watched the chaos cone to an end, he listened in on a siths conversation. "Emperor, order 66 is completed. The Jedi are dead. The universe belongs to the empire."
Obi Wan went to his ship, noticing a padawan talking to a sith, and they seemed slightly alike. He blinked, and the image was gone.
He left Courscant, knowing that after today, he would have to go in hiding.
Chapter 7, end.
