Four days later, Kaali and Veera talking in front of the wine shop. After a while, 

Kaali- "silvandu inga vanthiruku"

Veera- "papa va? vaipe illa..."

Kaali- "vanthirukku... sandaya arambi illaina ava maatippa"

Veera poured some water on the floor. A drunkard man slipped and fell on the other man. Using that chance, Veera slapped that man. A big fight started between the both and a crowd assembled there. 

Veera and Kaali didn't mingled in the crowd. They were standing away and watching it. They decided to leave and on their way, they saw Durga keenly checking the environment and ran away in a swift speed. Kaali and Veera looked at each other. 

Kaali- "un peepa ku saraaya kadaila enna vela?"

Veera- " thappa pesatha mapla. Ethavathu karanam irukum "

Kaali raised his eyebrows and looked at him, "ava thavanila ethayao maraichu eduthutu pora.."

Veera - "nee epo patha?"

Kaali- "ipo thane da oduna nama munnadi"

Veera- "ava oduna vegathuku, enala odurathu ava thaan matum thane da paka mudinchathu.. "

Kaali- "kudikari annana daa nee... itha kooda pakala.."

Veera- "dei papa va apadi solatha.. "

Kaali- "amama papa thaan.  pavam paal dabba la paal theenthu pochunu saraayakadaiku vanthu eduthutu pora..", he mocked.. Veera glared.

The next day, Durga's grandmother died. She is the one who controlled the whole village before. Villagers felt a relief but they didn't expressed that fearing for Muthupandi. 

The news got spread all over. Everyone came and cried. But Durga didn't drop a single tear. She is just staring at the dead body. Muthupandi broke down due to the news. He never expect this will happen so soon. Muthupandi was rooted on his standing place. He felt like his biggest strength is gone. He is controlling his tears. Velan is taking care of all the arrangements for the last rituals. Saravanan drunk alcohol on that day too. 

Every single thing happened in Muthupandi' s house is gossiped by the whole village. Veera and Kaali too heard the news. A big non veg festival is planned to happen on the following day. 

At the evening, all the rituals started to happen. Still Durga didn't shed a single drop of tear. she just observed everything. After everything is over, Muthupandi told her to stay in relations house. She nodded and went. 

In the mid-night, She locked her room, via back door she walked alone to the Sudukadu and stared at the fire which is burning her grand mothers dead body. The man who is setting fire to the body is singing a song. She stayed there till it become ashes. 

Then she return to her home. She walked slowly, many scenes flashed in her mind. On her way, she halted in a big bungalow. she stared at there for minutes. She felt like hearing many screaming sound and the laughing sounds. She felt like some persons are walking around her talking with her. She closed her eyes and ears in frustration and shouted, " niruthunga niruthunga.. pothum niruthunga....". She panted heavily, slowly opened her eyes and examined around. Nothing was found before her now. After a while, her eyes stared at a place for a long time, thinking about many things. Then she turned, left out a long breathe and walked on the pathway to her home. Kaali and Veera come out from the bungalow. They looked at each other.

The next day, a big food festival arranged in Muthupandi's home. Almost all the villagers of their caste went and had it. Other caste members too went and worked for the arrangements. later they was served the left overs. Including the kids from the lower caste waited for the upper caste to finish eating. Sivaangi just observed everything.

That day night, Kaali came inside his home, switched on the fan and sat down.

Kaali- "enna venum di unaku?"

Durga came out from the pillar, in which she is hiding till now and said, " naan irukenu epadi kandu pudicheenga? "

Kaali- "sonna enna tharuva?", he stood up, unbuttoned his shirt and moved near her.

Durga- "ithuku enna thara mudium?", Her words stammered and she moved back in fear. She didn't expect this.

Kaali- "atha apuram solren... enna venum?", he placed it in the hanger, which is behind her. She got hit by the wall. He locked her by placing his hands on the either side of her. 

Durga- "athu ipo konjam gundagiten athaan..." 

Kaali- "athunala enna? ipo than neeyae kola pana arambichutiae apuram enna?", He keenly watched her. Durga widened her eyes and got tensed. Her eye balls moved here in an anxiety and she become sweat. 

Durga with a get caught look said, "naan... Naan illa.." 

Kaali slapped her hardly, she hissed in pain and with a scared look, she looked at him. 

Kaali- "ena yematha pakuriah? inga paaru dealing la nambikai romba mukiam. una nambi ellam kolai pana mudiathu.. ", he turned away from her. 

Durga rushed, stood before him and said, "naan payanthu poi soliten. Please kovichukathenga.". Kaali looked at her with anger. 

Durga- "naan thaan en paatiya konen.. yarkitaium solidatheenga... "

Kaali- "apuram enna ethuku kolla sonna? ipo ethuku inga vanthiruka?"

Durga- "athu matha ambalaingala neenga thaan kolanum... ponungala naan konnupen.. "

Kaali- "ambalaigala? unaku yaara kolanum?"

Durga- "athu ........ nalaiku list eluthitu vanthu tharava?"

Kaali- "list ah?", he was confused and shocked more. Kaali looked at her. 

Durga- "neenga epo kolla start panuveenga?, naan asai padura mathiri kolluveengala? illa unga istapadi kolluveegala?", she is very clear in this, but the way she behaves is completely opposite. 

Kaali- "unaku epadi kolanum nu sollu di, naan try panren... amam list ae illama ethuku vantha? "

Durga- " naan gundagiten.. dress tight agiduchu... "

Kaali - "kita vaa di". Durga came near him. 

Kaali- "sariah theriala.. un thavaniah kalati aani la maatu", Durga was shocked by his words. 

Kaali- "enna apdiye nikura.. athanaiuma avuka sonen... thavani matum thane... hmm, seekram kalatu.. "

Durga hands shivered. She closed her eyes and many images flashed on her mind. She left out a long breathe, turned aside, removed her shawl and put it there. Kaali is keenly watch her. 

Kaali- "kita vaa di", she hide her assets and stood there itself. Kaali neared her. 

Kaali back hugged her and said, "kannala patha perusa theriala... thotu pathathan therium"

Kaali slowly clutched her waist and said, "enna di tight agiduchu nu sonna... aana correct ah thaan iruku.. ", His hands slowly moved towards her bosoms and clutched it. 

Durga- "athu... thayyal pirichu vitruken..", his face rested in his neck and rubbed her neck, shoulder and moved downwards... 

Kaali- "bra athe thane? ", ,Durga hummed closing her eyes. 

Kaali- "apadina velila vanthirukanume.. varalayae"

When Kaali moved his face near her cleavage, she fisted her hand, opened her eyes and started at the ceiling. Her mind started to replay many images for her. Her body stopped reacting to Kaali. When Kaali moved his hand down, she just stayed like a doll. Kaali understand and moved away his face. Still Durga stared at that place. 

Kaali slapped her harshly. She come out of her trama and looked at him. She didn't feel the pain now, but she just stared at Kaali who disturbed her line of thoughts. 

Kaali- "enna di panra?"

Durga- "naan onum panalayae?", Still she didn't get anything. Her mind very blank now. She is slowly understanding the surroundings.

Kaali- "enna ninachutu iruka nee? haan", Durga was blinking at him unable to understand anything. 

Kaali- "enna naan thota etho kalli mathiri pomma mathiri iruka... haan.. enna sagichukuriah?"

Durga - "illa athu neenga thotathum oru mathiri... ena panrathunu theriama... ", she understood.

Kaali- "theriama... oh, athunala thaan sagichukitiah?"

Durga- "illa naan apaadi.. "

Kaali- "inga paaru naan thota onnu nee virumbanum illaina verukanum... atha vitutu ipadi iruntha , kondruven..", he neared her and tightly held her hand. She was very much scared. 

Kaali- "enaku enna vera aale kidaikala nu ninaichiah? poo di nee, velila poo.."

Durga with tear filled eyes and a horse voice said, "enaku enna pananum nu theriala... chuma chuma kovichukama enna nu solunga naan seiven..."

Kaali smirked and said, " inga paaru, naan thota maram mari irukama anubavikanum.. enna yethukanum.." He shouted at her and said, "amam, unaku yen di naan ithellam solli tharanum, enaku enna thevaya? nee thane en kooda paduka vantha? "

Durga looked down and nodded her head. She felt like standing in fire. A feel with a combination of irritation, shame, compulsion, anxiety, fear is overflowing inside her. Kaali understood it. he went and sat in his bed. 

Kaali- "yei, vanthu madila utkaru di... ", Durga slowly neared him and sat in his lap. She felt like going to slip down from him and so she put her hands on his shoulder for balance. She is unaware that purposefully he did it. 

Kaali circled around her waist, pulled her more closer and said, "thinamum solitu iruka mudiathu.. Ini neeya ellam seiyanum.. ", she nodded her head. 

Kaali touched all her body parts including womanhood. She felt a shiver inside. Kaali felt her response for his touches. 

Kaali- "konjam thaan di perusagiruku", he took one bosom in his hand, squeezed it hardly and said in a unsatisfactory tone. Durga's eyes shed a tears.

Kaali- "ipadiye pona pala masam agum pola.. nee gundu aga..", She looked at him with pity and pleading look.

Durga - "seekram gundaga enna pananum nu theriala.. ", she said with a scared and guilt tone. Still she had fear that he will deny her request. 

Kaali- "vera vali, naane perusakuran.. thinamum rathiri inga vanthiru sariah?", she smiled and nodded her head.

Kaali looked at her eyes. It showed genuine happiness. She appeared like a puzzle to him. 

Kaali- "sari, una gundu akina enaku enna tharuva?", he whispered at her ears. 

Durga- "enna tharanum?"

Kaali- "vanthu samachu vaai. summa senjiduvangala ellathaium.. Nalaila irunthu rathiruku samachu vaai.. apuram naan una gundaka ena pananumo panren... vidiyurathuku munnadi odidu un veetuku.."

Durga with a confused tone, "vidiyura varai ingaye irukanuma?"

Kaali- "en iruntha enna? magaraniyala iruka mudiatha?", he pinched her waist hardly. 

Durga hissed and accepted. Every night she used to visit the bungalow and stay there for more minutes. Now she can't do that. She consoled herself that everything is only for some days. 

Durga- "ipadi thinamum vantha, evlo naal la gundu aaven?"

Kaali- "10 naala agidalam. ipo poo.., enaku thookam varuthu.. "

Durga- " Nalaiku list eduthutu varen... Naan ipo unga help aala gundu agitaen na, apuram neega kolai pana arambichuduveengala? " 

Kaali- "hmm.. panidalam... Nalaiku list oda vaa.. "

She hummed, stood up, dressed herself and got ready to leave. 

Kaali- "ingaa vaadi .. ", Durga neared him. Kaali hugged him very tightly, All his body parts brushed with hers. He kissed her cheeks, neck and bite it. Unable to control her emotions and shivering, she tightly clutched his shirt and bite her lips.

Kaali- "hmm, ipo poo..". he left her. Durga is unable to understand anything. 

She walked away from his home. On her way, she halted in a big bungalow. she started at there for minutes. Then she went home without anyone's knowledge.
