On a Blissful morning, Durga got up and looked at her own reflection in the mirror. She just stared at it for some minutes. She felt like her reflection is mocking at her and talking with her. She left out a long breathe and started to do her chores. 

When she came out to have breakfast. She felt the water looks like blood. She felt the food in her plate looked like a flesh. She left out a long breathe started at the TV and started to eat without looking at the plate. 

She started to her college. Her friends are Malliga and Valli. 

Malliga- "Durga visayam theriuma?"

Durga- "enna di?"

Vaali- "kaali vanthutanam... vanthu rendu naal achu.. Oore arandu poi iruku."

Durga- "ethuku di?"

Malliga- "ena di theriatha mari kekura.. avan chinna vayasulaye moonu pera asault ah potu thalirukaan di.. "

Durga lethargically said, "ithuka?"

Valli- "enna ivlo asault ah solura... antha vayasula moonu kolaiah un appan kooda panathu illa... I say, un appa panirukaru aana oru kolai thaan.. aana Kaali moonu panirukaan .. kanaku pathuka.."

Malliga- "avanuku peria peria aal ellam theriumam.. Jail la irukum pothe adikadi poi avangalukaga sambavam panitu varuvanam.."

Valli- "athan oru paya onum pesala ipo varaikum.."

Durga- "ooh..."

Malliga- "perusunga pesama irukum pothe therialaya.. visayam perusu di.. "

Valli- "avanuku aala veturathu ellam aata vetura mathiram"

Durga- "ungaluku epadi therium?"

Malliga- "appa pesitu irunthaaga.. "

Valli- "en annan avan motha kootaligaloda pesitu irunthaan... vambuku poga vendam nu"

Malliga- "avana seendina pathukalam.. illaina avan patuka irukatum, vitralam nu pechu poguthu.."

Durga- "epadi di oruthana summa vitanga? inerathuku oorula sangu oothirukanume.."

Malliga- "athuku karanam avan namma jaathi thanam... anna kodumai ennana, avan vetinathum namma jathi karanga thanam... "

Durga- "athana pathen..", she sarcastically said.

Valli- "illa di avan kolai panathu keel jathiku support panni... athavathu sanda arambichathu apadi thaan.. apuram en pecha keka matikuran nu konnutanam.."

Malliga- "avan perusa jathi ellam paka matanam... avanuku avana seedina udane sorugiduvanam... en annan pesitu irunthuchu... antha moonu kolaiah thavira inum pala pera potu thallirukanam, aana ithuvaraikum oruthanalaium kandu pudika mudialam ivan thaan pannanu.."

Durga keenly listened to everything and asked, "avlo peria jithan ah avan?"

Valli- "apadi thaan sonanga..  avan release agurathuku munnadi enga veetuku police uh vanthuchu.. appo ivana pathi pechu vanthappo solitu pochu... thadayam theriama kolla ivana thaan koopdanum nu"

Durga- "hmm.."

Malliga- "hey inga than di utkanthirukaan... keela kuninchuko di.. pathuratha.. "

Durga looked at him at the corner of her eyes, with heads down. 

Kaali too looked at her while he turn to talk with Veera. Kaali knows that Durga is looking at him without everyone's knowledge. He took a note of it in his mind and continued his talk. Durga too felt like he looked at her. But she is not sure whether he looked at her or not. 

The same day night, Veera and Kaali returned to Kalli' s home. Veera bid-bye to him and left. Kaali went inside his room, looked at his place once and then locked the door. 

Kaali removed his shirt and placed in a hanger. He then gestured like drinking water and moved back a little. With a swift turn, he pulled the person behind the pillar. 

Durga was scared due to his unexpected act and closed her eyes in fear, clutching his baniyan. She slowed opened her one eye and looked at him. Kaali was looking at her. Then she opened her eyes and stood away. 

Kaali- "ethuku vantha?". Durga blinked at him. 

Kaali- "sollu di.. ", he shouted. She got jerked. 

Durga- "naan, naan.. Durga."

Kaali- "nee yaarunu enaku therium. ethuku vantha?"

Durga- "enaku konjam kolai pananum.. ". Kaali laughed loudly.

Kaali- "konjam kolai pananuma? unaka... enna un appan anupinana?"

Durga- "illa illa, appa ku theriathu... ", she sincerely said.

Kaali- "kolai panrathunna ennanu theriuma?"

Durga- "hmm, paathiruken.. neenga kekuratha tharen, kolai panunga please.."

Kaali looked at her from top to bottom and asked, " enna tharuva? " . Durga removed her jewels and gave it to him with a smile. 

Kaali- "ithellam pathathu... oru kolai panrathu evlo risk theriuma? ithu oru nagai nu ithuku naan kolai pana mudiuma?", he tried to move. 

Durga stood before him and said, "please please.. venum na onnu panalam..  neenga en veetuku vanthu thirudunga, naan help panren.. panam enga irukunu enaku theirum... apuram kolai pana kooda enaku pothum.."

Kaali- " un veetla thirudurathuku enaku un uthavi ellam theva illa... athellam enake eduthuka therium... inga paaru intha Kaali kola panna onnu panam kodukanum, illaina ponnayavathu kodukanum... unala rendume mudiathu... muthalla velila poo"

Durga thought for a little and stood at that place itself. 

Kaali- "hey kilambu di.. ", he shouted and moved away. 

Durga- "enna eduthukitu kolai pannunga..", she slowly said but it is clear to hear. Kaali halted his steps on hearing that. 

He turned back and looked at her. She is facing down, but very adamant. He neared her, grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him. She was shocked and was about to shout, but closed her mouth with her hands. Kaali looked at her keenly. Her shock, her sudden reaction and the way she is trying to co-operate him. 

Kaali removed her hand from her mouth and neared her face. Fear is evident in her eyes, but she didn't drawback from her decision. 

Kaali- "unna eduthukutu kolai panava? nee enna avlo worth ah?.. ", He raised one eyebrow and asked. She got insulted but more than that she is afraid that he might deny her request.

Durga's eye lid moved here and there looking at his eyes and asked, "enna pudikalaya?". 

Kaali- "pudikura mathiri enna iruku unkita?  kaila alli edukura mathiri enna iruku.", 

He cupped her bosom and squeezed it. Durga closed her eyes and hissed in pain.

Kaali- "konjamachum iruka di... itha pudicha pudicha mathiriye illa... engaium sathayae illa... rendaium naan oru kaila pudichuduven pola.. ", he grabbed her but in one hand.

Durga felt hurt by his words but more than that her first priority is to convince him. She looked with pain filled and pleading eyes.

Kaali- "enna pakura? ", he grabbed her waist and said, "aluthi pudicha elumbu kuthidum pola iruka... ithellam enaku set agathu.", He left her and moved away...

Durga clutched his hand, moved to his front and asked, "naan gundagita ungaluku okay vaa.. "

Kaali looked at her with an unbelievable expression and said, "hmm, muthalla gundagu apuram mathatha pathi pesalam... ". Durga nodded her head and extended her arms like getting promise. 

Kaali- "pch, enna di?", he asked in an irritated tone.

Durga- "sathyam panunga.. naan gundagita enoda athu... apdi ellam irunthutu.. apuram enaku kolai pani theruveenganu.. "

kaali- "avlo nambikai illaina vera aala paru di... enaku avasiyamae illa..", he moved away taking the end of his veshti by moving his leg up a little. Again Durga rushed and stood before him. 

Durga- "Sorry, sorry sorry... naan namburen.. naan gundagitu varen.. bye.. "

Kaali looked at her. She slowly moved from the house and ran away without anyone's knowledge. He came out from his house , tied his veshti and looked at the retiring figure. Veera came near him. 

Veera- "ava poita..". Kaali glared at him. 

Veera- "ethuku intha theva illatha vela unaku?"

Kaali- "avale tharengra unaku enna prachana?"

Veera left out a long breathe and said, "veena vambula sikkatha.. amma illatha pulla athu.. nalathu ketathu theriathu athuku... ennamo ninachu vanthu pesitu poguthu... ". Kaali remained silent. 

Veera- "Kaali, nee..."

Kaali- "sapadu kondu vanthiah?". Veera nodded and they went inside. Kaali was thinking deeply about Durga.

After that Durga ate a lot of food. Whenever they cross by in the road path, Durga looked at Kaali with her corner of her eyes. Kaali very well knows about that. But he didn't expressed anything. It looks like he didn't know that Durga looked at him. 

She didn't came to his home after that. There is no conversation between them after that.

After 10 days, at night.. Veera came inside, closed his eyes, left out a long breathe and opened it. He started to unbutton his shirt casually.

Kaali- "ethuku di vanthiruka?"

Durga- "naan iruken nu kandupudichuteengala?"

Kaali- "ipo ethuku vanthiruka?"

Durga- "Naan 3 kg wait potuten... ipo sariah irukena?"

Kaali looked at her from top to bottom and said, "onume therialaye.. "

Durga looked at herself and said, "enna therium?"

Kaali pulled her towards him and circled her waist and said, "palaya dress thane ithu... gundagiruntha pathama poirukum la... apadiye iruku... "

Durga thought for a little and said, "dress pathama pora alavuku gundu aganuma?"

Kaali leaned on her and whispered on her ears, "un bra size pathama poi, vera vangura alavuku gundu aganum.."

Durga looked at him with wide eyes. She don't know how to react to these kind of words. she felt something strange inside her. Her body shivers at his comment, but she gathered herself.

Durga- "evlo wait pota apadi agum?", still she asked. She want them to be killed.

Kaali- "yen di silvandu, ellathaium enayave kepiah?..... venumna onnu panren... ", Durga looked at her. 

Kaali- "weight potta piragu vaa... pudichu paathu sariah irukanu solren.."

Durga nodded her head and ran away.
