    We drove back to Avni's house and she went to her room through window without getting into anyone's notice. I entered inside through main door and came to Avni's room. I knocked the door.

" Kon " she asked from inside.

" Your bodyguard highness " I said dramatically. 

" Come fter sometime I'm busy "  I heard she giggles. Oh, so now she is in playing mood.

" Okay, so I should call Raja sa and tell him about this " I chuckled thinking about her reaction. She must be cursing me now.

" Come in " she said. I came inside and cleared my throat. She is sitting on bad with a book on her hand glaring at me. She placed the book on site table and crossed her hand over her chest.

" Now you started to threatening me. Wait, now I will call Vidyut and complaint against you " she smirked.

" Avni I...." Before I could say anything she showed her hand to stop me.

" It's Rani sa " she said coldly.

" Sorry Rani sa " I bends down my head. I should not be so friendly with her, after all I'm her bodyguard.

     I turned to leave  but stopped when I heard Rani sa's laughter. What happened to her suddenly ? She was angry before some moment and now she is laughing. I turned back to see what is exactly happening. I saw she laughing like a maniac holding her stomach.

" Look at your face, Neil " she said laughing. " You fell on my prank " what ? She pranked on me.  I frowned and looked other side.

   I heard a should like something fell on floor. I looked towards Avni but she wasn't on bed. Where she gone ?

" Ouch " I heard Avni's voice. Why can't I see her ?

" Avni, where are you "

" Here you idiot " she shouted. I saw her hand from other site of bed. I went near her and found her laying on floor. Shit. The sound which I heard was her when she fell. But how she fell ?

" What are you thinking ? Help me to stand first " I helps her to stand. She rubs her arm pouting cutely.

" How you fell " I asked

" I was laughing and don't know how I fell down " she said. What ? I couldn't control myself and started laughing. Seriously she fell from bed while laughing on me.

" Don't laugh " she commanded. I tried to stop but her seeing her expression I started laughing more.

" You know you got your punishment for doing prank and laughing on me " I said holding my stomach. She puts her hand on her waist and glared on me.

" Now I'll give you punishment for laughing on me. Wait " I stopped laughing at her statement. She looked here and there searching something. She finally took a pillow from bed and started hitting me with it.

" Hey stop.... Avni.... this is not fair yaar " I started running around. She is chasing me holding a pillow.

      I runs to balcony and she too comes behind me. I stopped when I didn't find any way to run. I turned and found her standing there smirking on me. I moved backward until my back hit the railing of balcony. She moved forward and hands up to hit me with pillow but before she could hit me I bent down and she missed her target i.e. me.

     Now she is standing on my place and I'm on her. I smirked making her more irritate. She took a step towards me but her leg slipped. She couldn't balance and her back hits the railing. The pillow fell from her hand and she was about to fall from balcony I held her hand.

      I pulled her towards me making her crashed with my chest. I holds her tightly and took out my breath which was stuck in my chest. She too was hugging me and breathing unevenly. At the moment I heard a loud thunder and it's started raining. I held her till we both became normal.

" Are you ok " I asked her. She nods " I'm sorry " she looked at me raising her brows. " I shouldn't have ran.  What would have happened if you had fallen " I don't even want to imagine. I should be careful.

" It was not your fault it was an accident and nothing happened to me, see I'm all good infront of you "
She assured me that she is ok. I nods.

" So, Mr bodyguard got scared for punishment  " she said. I shook my head negatively.

" I'm not scared for punishment, I was worried for you " I said honestly looking into her eyes.

" Why " she asked

" Why shouldn't I ? We are friends now and I have all rights to worry for you, care for you and much more. Don't I ? " I said. She smiles and nods.

" Yes you have " she said. I smiled.

" So, as a friend can I ask you something " I asked hesitately. She looked at me narrowing her brows.

" What are you going to ask that you need my permission first "  She said.

" It's something personal " she chuckled.

" Ok ask "

" Why you married Vidyut " her smile vanished after my question.

   She thought for sometime and went near railing. There was a complete silence between us, only the sound of rain drops was audioable.

" I was forced to marry him " she said. I knew it.

" We were not rich but my father was earning enough money for us.  That was what I think so, as my family's thinking didn't match with me. They wanted to live a luxurious life without doing any hard work and that's why debts were kept on increasing. My father was working in palace for Vidyut. One day...

Flashback ( author's pov )

   It was night time and Avni's family was having their dinner. Someone knocked the door. Avni's mother opened the door and Vidyut came inside with Raaj mata and his bodyguards.

Ashish - Raja sa aap yahan..... mujhe bula lete aapne aane ki taklib kyun ki

Vidyut - kam hi itna important tha toh hume khud hi aana pada ( Ashish nods )

Ashish - app aayena bethiye

    Vidyut and Raaj mata sat on chairs.   Avni and Juhi were standing beside their mother silently.

Raaj mata - suna hai tumne bahut karze liye hua hain aur tum use chuka nehi pa rehe

Ashish - ji par jald hi chuka dunga ( he said bending down his head )

Raaj mata - uski koi zaroorat nehi hai humne tumhare sare karze utar diye hain

     Ashish fell on Raaj mata's feet and thanked her.

Ashish - dhanyavad Raaj mata main aapka teh ahesan kabhi nehi bhulunga

Raaj mata - isme ahesan bali kya baat hai ab toh hum ek hi Parivar hain

Ashish looked at her confusedly

Raaj mata - tumhari beti bahut khubsurat hai Ashish aur hum use hamari bahu banana chahate hain

     Avni's family was shocked but happy except Avni. She didn't want to get married sooner as she wanted to study more. She never dreamt of a lavish lifestyle nor she wanted and most importantly she wasn't getting good vibes from this proposal. She was suspicious for their intention. Why a king want to marry a normal girl, was the only question coming in her mind. But her family was happy like they got a jackpot. Her father didn't even bother to asked anything and fixed her marriage with Vidyut without Avni's concern.

   Vidyut went back to palace with his mother and bodyguards.

In Vidyut's room

Vidyut - maa mujhe abhi tak samajh nehi aaraha aap meri shadi us nokar ki beti se kyun karwana chahete hain

Ragini - agar tumara raaz raaz hi rakhna hai toh tumhe nokar ki beti se hi shadi karni padegi. Nokar beti hai hum jo kahenge wahi kahige aur wo chahe bhi toh kuch nehi kar sakegi par agar ek Raja ki beti se shadi ki toh wo chup nehi rehegi aur tumahara raaz sabko pata chal jayega.

Vidyut - par sab sawal karenge ki maine nokar ki beti se shadi kyun ki

Ragini - Avni bahut khubsurat hai ek raajkumari bhi uske samne fiki pad jaye....hum sabko kahenge ki tumhe usse pyar ho gaya toh koi bhi man jayega

Vidyut - par maa aap jante ho ki main....

Ragini - tumhe bas duniya ke samne dikhana hai ki tum usse bahut pyar karte ho bas ( Vidyut nods )

In Avni's room

Avni - papa mujhe yeh shadi nehi karni

Ashish - pagal ho gayi ho kya Avni..... Agar tumne Raja sa's se shadi ki toh tum iss rajya ki Rani ban jaogi aur tum iss shadi se inkar kar rehi ho

Avni - mujhe nehi banna Rani....aap mana kardo unhe

Juhi - papa main karlu shadi Raja sa se ( excitedly )

    Ashish glared at her to stop

Ashish - Raja sa ne hamari sari karz chukaye hain jo main pata nehi kabhi chuka pata ya nehi uska kya aur nahi mera koi beta hai jo use chukayega..... Tum toh shadi kar ke apne sasural chali jaogi hamara kya kabhi socha hai...yeh toh hamari kismat itni achhi hai ki Raja sa tumse shadi karna chahate hain

Avni - par papa...

Ashish - tujhe meri kasam hai Avni agar tumne yeh shadi nehi ki toh main zeher khake apni jaan de dunga

End of flashback

Neil's pov

    How can her father do this ? They forcefully marry her in that inhuman family. Greedy people.

" I didn't have any other option " Avni said sadly. Obviously she would have her own dreams which never fulfilled because of Vidyut.

" Vidyut shows other that he love me like his life but in reality we don't even talk with each other if it's not necessary to talk " she said rolling her eyes. 

" But why Vidyut married to you " Vidyut ruined her life completely. If he doesn't love her then why he married to her ? He definitely has some reason behind this.

" I too want to know " I'll find out the reason behind it. Vidyut and his mother will get their rewards soon for making other suffer.

" You know you spoilt my mood by asking this question. I was so happy after a long time and you spoilt it " she pouts.

" I'm sorry Avni " I didn't want to make her upset. She suffered enough. Now I'm here to protect her from those beast. Her bodyguard will always there for her when she needs me.

   Now I should do something to bring her smile again. My eyes fell on the rain drops and a idea striked in my mind. I collects a little amount of water on my palm and splashes on her.

" Neil..." She glared at me

" It's called revenge, Rani sa. You pushed me in water in morning now it's my turn " I said smirking.

    She huffed and started splashing water on me. It's turn to a water splashing competition. She completely forgot the conversation happened between us and was playing like a kid with rain. She looks more beautiful with that smile on her face.

" Achhun " she sneezed.

" I'm sorry Avni, you catched cold because of me " I such an idiot.

" No, I enjoyed it. Thank you " she says a smile. I smiled back.

    She went inside the room and came with a towel in her hand. She handed me the towel and told me to dry my hairs. I nodded and wiped my face with the the towel. She went inside the bathroom and came after changing into another saree.

" You have not dry your hair yet " she said standing in front of me. I realised that I was just standing like a statue thinking about her. I came back to reality and smiled like a fool.

" Give it to me " She took the towel from my hand " sit here " she said pointing at the couch present on balcony. I nods and sits there. She stood infront of me and started drying my hairs. Her bangles are hitting with eachother and making a beautiful sound.

    I was staring at her beautiful face but her attention was only on drying my hairs. I don't know what is happening to me but something is pulling me towards her.
