Yes this is a filler chapter but it is also important. Why you ask? Because it reveals someone's feelings for a fellow kunoichi.

Also I'm gonna slip the retrieval mission because it would take FOREVER to write and let's face it... I'm lazier then entire Nara clan put together.

Shikamaru pov-

I couldn't stop thinking about Yuki's letter, it just really bugged me how she just left... I wish she told me face to face. Me, choji, sasuke, kiba, naruto, neji and I guess Lee as well even though he wasn't ment to be there, went on a mission to bring her home... But we failed and choji, neji and kiba are in hospital with serious injury's.

None of it matters if my closest friend isn't here. The girl I've been with forever she just left...

Part of the letter she left kept buzzing around in my head.

You're my best friend and i love you always and forever no matter what but I have to do this, I hope you understand that.

She loved me... But not in the way I loved her...

Her love was the best friend kind of love. My love was the, I want to grow old with you kind... When I was down she'd cheer me up, is I was smiling she'd tend to be the reason, if I had no money... It would be because she has a eating contest with choji and made me pay.

I have so many memory's with her its hard to believe she's gone, and I may never see her again.

Flashback ~

"Shikaaaaa! Wake uppppp!" A 7 year old yuki yelled into my ear.

"Shikamaru Nara, your mother has given me the impossible task of waking you up. She said that if you are not awake in 5 minuets she'll be up to get you. 4 minuets and 48 seconds have passed your mother will be here soon... Unless you wake up that is" the little girl whispered mischievously into my ear.

I suddenly shot up out of bed and she fell of the side of the bed laughing.

"What's funny?" I asked with a playful glare.

"Well my shadow friend, your mother isn't coming up I'm just bored and need entertainment soooo..." She jumped on my back then continued, "PIGGY BACK RIDE!!!!!! onwards my trusty steed" she yelled pointing forwards.

I sighed being really lazy and dropped her on the floor.

"ITA!!"

"Say that to my face lazy ass!"

I leaned in and whispered in her ear slowly.

I then had a punch delivered to my face.

"What was that for!!!!" I yelled but was secretly amused.

"DROPPING ME YOU JACKASS!!"

"Such fowl language for such a petit girl" I muttered before lying back on my bed.

"Shikamaruuuuuuuuu"

"Pretty, pretty please with a cherry on top with whipped cream and sprinkles and chocolate flakes and marshmallows and smarties and-"

"Fine just shut up! So what do u wanna do?" I said finally giving in.

"Hide and seek!" She yelled before telling me to hide.

"Shikamaru! Where are you?"
She yelled/asked as she was getting bored of looking. Suddenly I fell out of a tree near her.

"Shika are you Ok?"

"I'm fine" I gave her a big smile and she hugged Me.

"You should be more careful you could have seriously hurt yourself!"

"Yes mom"

"Silly, I'm not your mom as we aren't related by blood or marriage plus I never gave birth to you and we look totals different there is no resemblance what so ever and your older than me by 4 months!"

"Yuki... it was sarcasm I know you're not my mom."

"Whats sarcasm?" She questioned dumbly.

"Seriously you surpass everyone in the academy and you're a Hatake yet you don't know what sarcasm means well aren't you a strange one"

"Are you going to tell me or not? also a strange one of what?"

I couldn't help but let out a little giggle towards the oblivious girl in front of me

"Ok sarcasm is the use of irony to mock or convey contempt. Basically when your taking the mic. And strange one is just a figure of speech"

"Ohh ok."

"So do you wanna carry on playing hide and seek?" I asked hoping she'd say no.

"I can't I've got to train with papa in 10 minuets he is teaching me how to get better at using the sharingan"

"Ah ok have fun yuki and don't get hurt"

"Bye shika!"

With those words she ran off to train although I really wish she didn't have to go.

Yeah I find her annoying as hell but I can't help myself finding I want to spend every irritating moment with her...
