Kin's POV

I followed the ANBU on the way to Konoha. I did not converse with them as I would with my patients. Well, actually, ANBU don't talk about personal life during missions, so that's understandable.

Regardless, I walked along side them, feeling the braces on my legs supporting every step I took. My body was extremely weak, although I won't say why or how I got to this point. Not yet. Let's just say I'm really sick, okay?

"Halt. Let's rest," the leading ANBU captain said, pointing to the woods, close to the road, yet enough for hiding.

"Are you sure, Captain? It's only been two hours," I said, surprised. I have heard when escorting people, ninjas usually travel up to six to eight hours before taking a break, unless the person being escorted wants to take a break earlier.

"I have been given specific orders from Lord Raikage to stop every two or three hours," the ANBU captain said to me.

Ah, Lord Raikage must have noticed my poor conditions and asked them to give me plenty of rest before reaching Konoha.

"Very well then. Let's stop then," I said, letting my body fall backwards, landing on my back, my braces lightening my fall. I reached into my bag and took out a pill container. I shook the container, removing two large pills from it. One was clear green jell contained in one pill, and the other was a powder pill.

"I hate you," I hissed at the pills in my hand. "It's because of your stupid, evil counterpart that I have to eat you. And you taste terrible. I hope you're happy." With that, I swallowed the medication and grimaced at the slightly bitter taste.

Oh yeah. I took them dry.

How fun.

So that's how our trip went. Walk for two hours, then stop for ten minutes and take my pills. When nightfall came, I was carried on someone's back while we traveled. I was somewhat well rested as we traveled to Konoha. Ho nice! These guys are really considerate of me.

By the time we reached Konoha, I probably had taken over twenty pills. It's definitely not healthy, but I need these.
Why, you ask?

Well, I have some problems I don't wish to discuss right now to you readers.....but maybe one day.

Anyways! I'm going to see my dad!
