Kin's POV

Six days.

That's how long I've been going on without sleeping.

I've been working at this hospital for more than three years, so six days of no sleep is nothing.

Actually, I have gone to work without sleeping for a week. I think I had slept for a two or three days straight when I finally hit the sack.

Anyways, fifteen year old me is working at the Cloud Village to treat all this kids in the hospital. Every kid has a different disease, and it pretty annoying to grab twenty suppressants off the rack when I walk past it. But I don't mind. I love being a doctor. I enjoy the strong smells of medicines and medical drugs. I feel at ease when helping the kids get better.

I heard the front door bell chimed, signaling someone was coming in, probably with another sick kid or two, or another visitor.

"Doctor Hatake, Lord Raikagu wants to see you," Ai called from the door.

Oh, Ai is the secretary of the Raikage in the Cloud Village.

"Not to be rude, but I am currently busy at the moment with my patients," I said, turning around hurriedly to grab some clean towels.

"Lord Raikage understands this situation as well, but can you leave your patients for twenty minutes to your subordinate doctors?"

I hesitated then nodded firmly. "Very well. Please make haste," I said.

"Understood." I seized my messenger bag and let Ai take me to Lord Raikage's office.

Upon opening the door, I found the Raikage doing his usual exercises, his office littered with training gear.

"GOOD DAY, DOCTOR HATAKE!" He exclaimed in his usually loud voice.

"Hello, Raikage-sama," I said calmly. "Is there something wrong?"

"YES, KONOHA HAS HEARD OF YOUR PREDICAMENT AND HAS OFFERED TO OPEN THEIR MEDICAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO YOUR DISPOSAL!" He "shouted."

"I see. And you want me to use them, sir?" I said slowly.

"YES. TAKE UP THEIR OFFER. THEREFORE, I HEREBY COMMAND YOU TO GO TO KONOHA AND FIND EVERY CURE FOR ALL THOSE CHILDREN!" Ah, did I mention this big, tough guy was a big softie for little kids?

Wait, what did he just say?

I was supposed to go to Konoha and use their medicinal resources?

.....well that's brilliant.

And a bit too soon for a turn of events.

But of course, me being the good little kid that I was.....

"Yes sir. At once, sir." After all, who was I to say "no" to the Raikage?
