{7} The Hatake's Normal Day [Month 5]
I ran my fingers through Kakashi's hair, as his head laid on my lap, and his eyes were focused on his Icha Icha Paradise book.
"Baby."
"Hm?" I looked at my husband.
He moves his book, his eyes look up at me.
As usual, when we're at home, he removes his mask and headband. And, I am just looking at a masterpiece all day every day.
"When was the last time I told you I love you?" He asked.
"Hm... Last night when I was giving you a blow--"
He quickly covered my mouth and looked away embarrassed and with red cheeks.
"Be quiet..." He said.
I smiled and moved his hand. "Ask me when was the last time I said I love you," I said.
"Nope... I know exactly what you're going to say."
"The last time I said I love you was when you were eat--"
He then covered my mouth again. "Hush, anyway... What I wanted to say was, I love you." He said.
I smiled and moved his hand. "I love you too."
"Okay, well I've got something to do." He said and sat up.
I tilted my head. "Do what?"
"I want to start our dinner."
"Huh? But, it's only eleven AM."
"Yes, but I want to make sure it's perfect, just for you. And, if I mess up, I'll be able to ."
"Why?"
He looks at me and says, "Because, you're my wife, and I want to show you how much I love you and appreciate you."
"You don't have to."
"Right, but I'm choosing to."
I pouted and said, "I'm not hungry, I just want you to lay with me."
He chuckles, "I will when I get the food started, so just wait."
I nodded and watched him, walk away.
I sighed and rubbed my large bump.
"Four more months my little mini demons." I smiled. "I'm so excited to see you three."
"Woof!"
"Chirp~!"
I turned my head and saw, Junior and Shi.
Junior and Shi have gotten bigger than they were when we got them last year.
I smiled and patted my stomach, "Come, come."
Junior walked over to me and laid his head on my stomach.
Shi no longer a chick, he was a whole rooster now and hopped off Junior's back and onto my stomach.
I laughed and picked up, Shi, "Careful, Shi." I put him back onto Junior's back.
Junior smiles and rubs his head against my large bump.
I smiled and rubbed his head, scratching behind his ear.
"I knew I smelled, our pets."
I looked over the couch and saw, Kakashi.
I waved at him, "Hello, my sweetie."
"Hey." He walks over to the couch, Junior and Shi moved over, as he walked by.
He laid down and grabbed my legs putting them on his shoulders. He laid his legs between my thighs, and he uses his hands to squish his head in between my thighs.
He sighs and smiles happily, "Thighs saves lives." He says.
I laughed and asked, "Do they?"
He nods, "They're my home away from home."
"And, where is your home?"
He looks at me and says, "You're my home because my heart belongs to you."
"Aw! That sounds so corny! But, it's so sweet!" I told him.
He rolled his eyes, "I'm not saying anything else to you."
"No, no, no! Keep saying sweet things!"
He shakes his head.
"Baby!"
He shook his head again.
"Sweetheart!"
Another shake.
"My love!"
Shake.
"Daddy~."
He looked at me and says, "Santa Claus isn't visiting you this year."
"Huh?!"
"Because you're on the naughty list. Naughty, naughty."
"Oh, shut up."
Kakashi chuckled and laid his head on my bump and says, "Our kids are in there."
I smiled and nodded.
"Do you have a name for them?" He asked.
I put a finger to my lip, "It's a secret." [I promise y'all will love the names I picked out ^^. I spoiled them on my announcements a couple of months ago and they got good reviews. Y'all will love them.]
He stares at me, "They won't be bad?"
I shook my head, "Not at all."
He nods and rubbed my bump, "Triplets, I know you three will come out healthy strong, just like how strong your mother is."
"You're strong too, Kakashi," I told him.
He looks at me, "You're a whole lot stronger than me. You're working hard every day just to deliver our children. And, you love to fight and be active. Carrying children isn't your thing, especially for nine months. But, I know, that and it's draining your energy and taking a toll on you. You're so much stronger than I ever would be."
I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair, "You're too sweet."
"I'm being honest."
"I know."
He leans up and kisses me softly on my lips.
I kissed him back, and I felt his hands holding my hips, and my hands moving to his cheeks.
After a second or two, I pulled away and sniffed the air.
Something's burning...
"Kakashi... Our dinner?"
"Fuck..." Kakashi muttered, he jumped up and dashed into the kitchen.
I laughed, then heard an explosion in the kitchen.
"(Y/N)..." Kakashi walked out of the kitchen, coughing, and says, "Let's go and get some sushi."
"Yeah, sure. Let me get dressed, and you should take a shower, you got ash on your face and in your hair."
He nods and says, "Yeah... I'm going to do that." He let out a sigh and went upstairs, disappearing into our room.
I got off the couch and went upstairs to our shared room. When I walked in the sound of the shower filled the room.
Kakashi is in the shower, time to get dressed.
I opened the dresser and saw my brand new maternity shirts, since my baby bump is larger than usual, so we had to go on a shopping spree a few weeks ago.
I sighed and started to get dressed.
I sat on the bed, with my purse on my lap, dressed and waiting for Kakashi.
The bathroom door then opened.
Ah, speak of the devil.
My husband stepped out of the bathroom, dressed and drying his hair. He looks at me, "Ready?" He asked.
I smiled and nodded.
[HSDHJAA MY SPOTIFY PLAYLIST STARTED TO PLAY FLY HIGH!!! FROM HAIKYUU, IT SCARED ME, BUT I'M HAPPY.]
He nods and pulls his mask up, and grabs his head protector, pulling it over his eye.
I got up and held my hand out to him. He held my hand, and we left our room, said goodbye to Junior and Shi, and left our home.
We walked hand in hand to a sushi bar.
"What are you craving?" Kakashi asked me.
"Salmon nigiri... Sounds really good," I smiled and nuzzled his arm.
He chuckles and nods, "Okay, I'll get you a lot of salmon nigiri, since I burnt our new stove in our new house."
"You really burnt the stove? What were you trying to do?"
He shakes his head and says, "I don't know."
I said, "You'll have to buy a new stove."
"Sure."
"I'm serious."
"Sure."
"I will fucking murder you if you don't fucking do something about our motherfucking stove, you motherfucker, b--"
He covers my mouth and says, "Baby, the profanity around the children. Please. I will take care of our stove.
I huffed and nodded.
He removes his hand, and we arrived at the sushi bar. He opened the door and I walked inside, he followed me and together we went to an empty table and sat down.
"Hello."
Once we sat down we were already greeted by a waiter.
"Aren't you a quick b--"
Kakashi stepped on my foot, stopping me.
"Ow!"
"I'm sorry for my wife, once she has her sip of swear words, she can't help, but keep going. We know what we want, but quick question do you do, to-go?"
The waiter shook his head, "No, we don't."
He nods and says, "Disappointing... Anyway, ten plates of salmon nigiri and that'll be it.
The waiter nodded, "Okay! I'll be back soon then."
The waiter walked away, and it was just me and Kakashi.
"Kakashi?"
"Hm?"
"What kind of future would you want for our kids? I know you don't want them to be like how you were. But, I kind of wants to talk more about their future."
"Well..." He let out a sigh, thinking.
I smiled and leaned my head against my hand.
"Would you like them to be a shinobi?" I asked him.
He looks at me and says, "Yes, and no."
"Really?"
He nods, "Being a shinobi is very dangerous and I don't want to worry about my kid's not coming home from a mission. I told you about the missions we've had."
I nodded.
"So, no. But, yes. Because, you're able to protect those you love, make friends everywhere, and learn more about the world and the many mysteries."
I twirled my hair around my finger, "Hm... I think... I would let them be shinobi. If that's their dream, who am I to step in front of their dreams?"
"Their mother."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. But, a dream is what keeps someone going."
"What was your dream before you met me?" He asked.
I smiled softly, "I had none. Kakashi, I was ready to face death head-on. When I was out there, I never thought about tomorrow."
She glanced at me, her eyes were filled with disappointment. "Why do you choose death over life?"
I looked at her and rubbed my bandage. "Why should I pick life? Mom, dad, Shisui... They're all gone... Tsunade, what am I supposed to look forward to? What's tomorrow for me?"
She looked at me, "I don't know either, (Y/N). But, I look forward to gambling and sake."
I smiled, "Gambling and sake?"
She chuckled and nodded, "I dream of hitting the jackpot."
"That's your dream?"
"Currently! Yeah! But, (Y/N)."
"Yeah...?"
"You're only seventeen. You're too young to be giving up on your dreams. So, start thinking of something, RIGHT NOW!" She shouted and slammed her fist against the table, breaking it.
I jumped and said, "YES MA'AM!"
She sighs and tells me, "I don't want to see blood on your body again, alright?"
"Alright, alright."
"Promise me, (Y/N)!" She shouted at me.
I smiled and held my pinky out, "I promise."
"That's so childish... But..." She hooked her pinky with mine.
I looked at him, "I want our kids to look forward to tomorrow, to always think about tomorrow, always dream about what's happening the next day. I want them to have dreams."
He nods, "Right. Life is boring without anything to look forward to though."
I smiled and nodded.
"I want our kids to also... Never experience the loss of someone at a young age." He told me. "They won't be mentally ready, and even though we might be there for them, that will affect them for life. I don't want our kids to deal with anything traumatizing at a young age."
"Kakashi, we can't prevent them from witnessing a death or experiencing the loss of someone." I told him, "It's important, that we prepare them, because if they're going to enter the shinobi world, then they better be ready to face the death of a comrade. As their parents, we have to at least let them know what could happen."
He sighs and says, "You make parenting sound hard."
I laughed and said, "I knew me and Shisui was a handful. So, I guess so."
The waiter came back with our sushi and placed it in front of us, then left.
"Ah, dig in." He told me, "I'll sneak some back home since they don't believe in to-go orders."
"Shush, I'm already ahead of you," I told him and started to shove the sushi into my purse.
He chuckled and said, "I love you so much, baby. Don't forget the sauce."
I nodded, "Got it, love you too."
[Decided to add a small flashback into (Y/N) and Tsunade's story :) because in the boyfriend scenarios, those two are friends, and in this book, I'm going to go more into how they became friends.]
[Hope y'all enjoyed it. Also, we haven't entered into the Naruto Shippuden time yet. So, you are still 22 from the end of the first book and Kakashi is 27. Of course, y'all will be aging up, I'll tell y'all when y'all do age up.]
[12:29 AM, lol this so rushed >.< At some point, I'll come back and edit these.]
