KakaSaku's Quintessence

Another sound of a phone disrupted the beautiful dream that held her in its arms, though the reality was as interesting, if not more than this dream. Sakura turned to the other side, and the arm around her waist pressed tighter against her flat stomach.

"Kakashi, turn off that alarm clock at last," she murmured in a hoarse voice as the annoying noise grew louder.

The mentioned one muttered something in his sleep and turned, clinging his bare torso against her naked back.

"It'll stop soon," he muttered, hiding his face in her hair.

Sakura growled in response, but his lips, which began to brush her nape, definitely cut off any sounds of objection. After a while, the couple joined in an embrace fell asleep again.

Until another alarm sounded.

"Shit, Kakashi!" Sakura gasped with a sleepy voice.

The man turned and merely slapped his hand on the bedside table, though he missed the button to turn off the alarm clock. He sighed in resignation and returned to embracing his beloved one.

"What did you need fifteen alarm clocks for?" The kunoichi snorted dissatisfied.

Kakashi plunged his face into her pink hair again, muttering something under his breath to calm her down.

"No... seriously, Kakashi... what could be so important that you set so many of them?" Sakura was surprised.

Hatake sighed in resignation, not bothering to answer at all. He just wondered how she had managed to count them all...

"Maybe... a chūnin exam with your new group?" The young kunoichi wondered aloud.

"Go to sleep," the shinobi muttered, hugging his beloved tighter.

For there was nothing more important to Kakashi that could equate to the option of spending the whole day in bed with the only one person he wanted most by his side.

"Okay, I still don't like this idea, but it's better than ending up with you." There was so much venom in his tone that a normal person would flinch at the very first word, but not him, he was too composed for all of this, so all he could snarl in reply was, "Thanks."

Naruto looked from under the frown at Sasuke.

"Oh, where are they?!" The blond-hair boy was irritated. "I don't like this idea more and more..."

Sasuke just snorted in response. Uzumaki, hearing this, frowned, again focusing his attention on his friend.

"Stop that! I'm glad that she's happy but also that she didn't choose you! If she didn't want me, then I'm glad the most that she didn't pick you either," Naruto grinned in a wide smile.

Uchiha raised an eyebrow, looking at his overly excited friend.

"I never wanted her," he muttered in response, but Uzumaki completely didn't hear him and continued his disquisition about Sakura's choice in a love department.

"Kakashi-sensei's hundred times better than you!" Naruto ended at last, then added, "If only he stopped being late, and stopped teaching that Sakura..."

Naruto put his hands in the pockets of his typical orange suit and looked around at the gathered friends. Ino gave him a knowing look, glancing towards the entrance. No wonder, after all, they still had an hour before it all starts, and considering Kakashi, he always came two hours late, and if you add Sakura to it, probably another two hours will pass...

Uzumaki sighed resignedly, looking at the similarly irritated Tsunade, standing behind the desk with her arms crossed on her chest.

"How can they be late for their own wedding?"
