They'd done it. Adrenaline was pulsing through Conan's veins as his small chest rose and fell with each pant. They'd actually done it! Despite the exhaustion clinging to every limb, the tiny sleuth felt more energetic than he'd been in a long time. He was bruised, sore, and very very dirty. There were even some charred spots on his clothes from a few close calls with some accelerant fuelled fire.

Conan was currently laying down on his back atop some building. The smell of smoke and burning clung to the air, accompanied by loud sirens blaring everywhere. Conan tilted his head to the side, eyeing Kid, no Kaito. Kaito was splayed out just like he was. Kaito's kid outfit was more sooty than white, more charred than his own clothing "We did it" Conan breathed, grinning giddily. Their plan had worked, the Crows were no more.

"Yeah" Kaito met his gaze, sounding just as breathless as the sleuth felt "We did" They were an amazing team. He forced himself to sit up, using his left arm to keep himself propped up. Everything hurt, he was going to be black and blue for weeks! At least he'd be able to hide at the Kudo mansion to avoid prying questions. Offering the sleuth a proud grin, he brandished a box with his free hand "You aren't going to be so little anymore Meitantei" He'd managed to grab a whole case of the APTX 4869.

The sleuth's heart fluttered at Kaito's soft expression. The other was wearing scent blockers like himself "Thank you" Without Kaito, the Crows would still be going strong. The other had done so much for him. Kaito was both a valuable friend and ally. A great companion during these stressful times.

Kaito rolled his eyes fondly, pocketing the precious box "There's no need to thank me, it's only natural that we teamed up" The sleuth was important to him, there's no way he would have exited the building without the key to the cure. There was no way that he'd let Shinichi's future burn away with the flames.

Conan's ears tinted at the sincerity in the other's voice. Kaito was just... He was too good for him "We should team up more" He agreed softly. Looking at Kaito more closely, the sleuth couldn't help but think that Kaito looked amazing. Soot had clung to Kaito's skin via sweat, the same sweat that'd made the magician's hair both cling to his face and stick up even crazier than usual. He really should be worrying about infections, the small patches of red while not dangerous, could become a problem. It was hard though, to focus on the risk of infection with Kaito being so, himself. Conan wanted to kiss him, he didn't act on it "It'll be fun"

The magician tilted his head curiously, Conan had made some pretty interesting faces while looking at him "I really must look like a mess don't I?" Kaito laughed, he could only imagine what he looked like if the sleuth looked like that. He'd been shielding the other after all.

Shaking his head, Conan looked away with a shy smile "Yes, but you also look really good" Normally he wouldn't say that, but being pumped with adrenaline did wonders.

Kaito's smile became more shy, cheeks warming "Oh?" Did the sleuth just flirt with him? Conan had never voiced anything similar before. Kaito laid back down then rolled over until he was next to Conan "That really makes me happy" He was fond of the other, the sleuth made him feel things that nobody had made him feel before. Indigos softened "I'll hold off my response for when you look less like a charred child" Conan looked cute, adorable. Kaito highly doubted that his thoughts were on the same wavelength as the other- at least he hoped that they were on different wavelengths.

Conan nodded, cheeks pink. He hadn't been dismissed, so Kaito wasn't offended by his attraction. That was good. They hadn't really spoken about what would happen if one of them became too interested in the other. It was a relief to see that his feelings might be reciprocated? Or if they weren't then Kaito wasn't worried about him trying anything "We should go back home, before we somehow get noticed" Both of them had kept their presence quiet, not even the FBI knew that they'd actively participated. Conan's involvement was known to some, but only for planning. Kid's involvement was kept a secret.

"Yeah" Kaito agreed, offering a sheepish grin "Though I feel too tired to move" Laying down had made his soreness more pronounced. He wanted to just stay still.

"We've got to move before a helicopter spots us" Conan elbowed Kaito. They'd been lucky so far, but they really shouldn't push it.

"Fine..." Sighing, Kaito forced himself to his feet, glancing down at Conan before scooping up the tiny sleuth into his arms "I need to soak in a warm bath" The warmth would wash away his aches and pains. Kaito peered down at Conan "The upstairs tub is huge, want to join me if we use towels?" It would be like a hot spring "After everything that's happened today, I'd rather not be alone"

Azure softened as he met Kaito's gaze. The magician had just barely saved him from getting crushed by a beam "That sounds nice, relaxing" His body would appreciate such a soak.

Kaito smiled "We'll shower then soak, neither of us wants to soak in filthy water"

Conan's lips curled into a grimace "I feel disgusting" He was sticky and grimy from his own sweat. The fire had been very hot.

"Same" Kaito laughed. He quickly replaced their outfits with less conspicuous and sooty ones. The magician then started to make his way down the long staircase. His glider had more holes than he was comfortable with, their landing hadn't been soft. So they'd have to take the stairs. Halfway down, Kaito noted that the sleuth had started to drift off. He just smiled softly, the other's body had less stamina due to his physical age. Conan could sleep for as long as he needed, he'd get the sleuth home safely.

Me: So the Crows are gone~ And it's normal to not want to be alone after such an obviously stressful day.

I made yummy macaroni, made 2 so 8 huge meals >~<

Cheap macaroni dish from one day adding stuff together then cooking it. It was totally random and I just winged it the first time

2 Campbell's condensed cheese soup $1.25 each

1 Primo romano cheese and basil pasta sauce $1, half per casserole. Or 340 ML or any tomato sauce per casserole

One 900g bag of elbow noodles, subtracting 2 cups from the total. (I measured what was left)

Cheese on the top (optional, tasty without)

Mashed up crumbs of soda crackers on top of the cheese (only if you add cheese)

Instructions: Boil noodle, add cheese soup, tomato sauce and mix.

(Optional) Top with cheese (fav is marble) and crackers in the way stated above

Cook at 350°F for 1 hour, rotating half way

Without the cheese topping this is a very low fat meal...

It's not recommended to lick cheese soup from fingers, it's nasty on its own *shivers*

To restate, I made 2 casseroles, only showing a pic of one though. Each casserole is 4 meals.

Since dishes vary in deepness I recommend you keep an eye on it after 30 mins

For me it's approximately .56$ per plate filling meal ^-^ (if ingredients bought on sale)

Fun fact: My cheese had expired in May, its near the end of October now... Wanna know something even better? =~=

It had been opened before the expiration date, no mold, but I cut of some discoloration since the bar had been too long for the sandwich bag to be fully closed
