Kaito was practically vibrating with excitement, he was elated for the sleuth. The other wasn't going to be Conan for much longer. Edogawa Conan had left for America yesterday, today was the day that Kudo Shinichi would secretly return. The final antidote had been concocted around a week ago thanks to the pills that he'd stolen during the take down.

"Calm down" Conan laughed, he was clad in oversized clothing. Everything was ready, he just needed to take the pill.

The magician pouted "How can you be so calm?" He'd thought that the other would be just as excited as he was! "You're not going to have to pretend to be a real child anymore"

Azure softened "Being like this became a lot more bearable after you started coming around" Kaito had made being trapped in a child's body less painful. The ability to just be himself around the other had been a godsend.

Kaito smiled, indigos soft as pink tinted his cheeks "Just hurry up and take the pill" The anticipation was killing him. The sleuth had been wanting his original form back for so long, Kaito couldn't help himself from feeling excited for him.

"Alright, alright" Conan had gotten the point. Kaito's heat smell was blazing with joy and excitement. It made him feel less weary of the pain that was soon to come. He'd contemplated just hiding in the bathroom to do it, but had decided against it. Kaito would take care of him, he felt comfortable showing such weakness in front of the other. The magician wouldn't judge him.

Perking up, Kaito watched as Conan took the pill. At the first signs of pain, Kaito fell to his knees and pulled the panting boy into a hug. The sleuth was panting, shivering, and occasionally twitching as Kaito lathered the other in soft purrs and gentle touches. He could feel Shinichi growing in his arms. The alpha's scent was overpowering the calming waves he'd been intentionally sending out so Kaito stopped pushing out his own scent. He was not going to start a scent battle with Shinichi.

Shinichi couldn't stop panting, the pain was lingering a bit, but nowhere near as sharp as it had been during the change. Kaito's heat scent was mouthwatering now that he had his adult hormones back. Shinichi wrapped his arms around Kaito, leaning in to rest his chin next to the scent gland on the magician's neck "I'm finally back..." He breathed, words airy as he took in Kaito's scent.

Kaito gave a soft laugh, practically melting in Shinichi's arms. Conan's hugs had been great, but Shinichi's were perfect. He shifted a bit, the sleuth was almost straddling him, and his own feet were stuck beneath him "You never left, you just had to change a bit"

He took in one last breath of Kaito's concentrated scent before pulling himself away to meet Kaito's gaze. Azure blinked, Kaito's face was very flushed "Now that I'm no longer a cute kid..." Shinichi smiled shyly "I want to fully bond with you, if you'll have me"

"Yes!" Heart soaring, Kaito agreed. He'd fallen for him emotionally as Conan, and having Shinichi's true form right in front of him? The magician could easily say that he really really liked how Shinichi looked. The sleuth's scent was also doing things to him. He wanted Shinichi.

Beaming, Shinichi tilted his head, revealing his neck. It wasn't something alphas did lightly "I'm ready when you are" He'd bitten Kaito all those months ago, now it was Kaito's turn to bite him, to complete and seal their bond. They'd be together for the rest of their lives.

Despite his excitement, Kaito's heart fluttered. This was it. Unlike where the sleuth had been forced to bite him multiple times due to his jaw size, Kaito leaned over and gently sunk his fangs into Shinichi's mating gland. Unlike last time, there was no jolt of pleasure. Licking the other's blood from his lips, Kaito pulled back to examine the mark. It would scar cleanly, unlike his own which was messy despite the sleuth's gentleness "My alpha" Kaito purred contentedly. Until Shinichi, he'd never envisioned himself saying those words.

"My omega" Shinichi returned, stating it less possessively than Kaito had but with the same amount of affection. Kaito was his, and he was now Kaito's.

"Shinichi"

"Hmm?" Shinichi tilted his head, still basking in their mixed scents and newly completed bond.

Kaito fidgeted shyly, indigos avoiding eye contact as his face warmed "Can we celebrate our bond in a traditional manner?" They'd known each other for so long, and he trusted Shinichi like no other.

Azure narrowed in thought "Traditionally?..." He paused, blushing as he realized just what Kaito was asking "You're in heat..." They'd just fully bonded, he didn't want to take advantage of him.

The magician rolled his eyes, becoming a bit more confident at the other's shyness "We've already established that my heat doesn't turn me into a lustful person" Kaito reigned in his scent a bit more, not wanting it to influence the other "I'm as clear minded as a person in love can be" Shinichi's scent was amazing, but it wasn't trying to smother him into submission. Kaito hummed "Is your brain agreeing with your body?" He sent a playful glance towards the sleuth's crotch, that was resting against him.

"Um" Shinichi spluttered "I'm sorry" He moved back a bit.

Kaito giggled, indigos gleaming "It's fine, you've just been hit with your hormones while next to your mate" Mate, the word sent shivers down his spine as he spoke it "It's completely natural" He tilted his head "Just like how I'm going to need a new slick pad soon if you're not up to it" The sleuth hadn't been rubbing against him, so he was fine. He let his scent out a bit more, allowing Shinichi to scent his willingness.

Shinichi swallowed hard. Kaito really was willing and clear headed enough to consent "I'd really like to celebrate traditionally with you" He breathed softly.

The magician beamed, gently taking his mate's hand in his as he stood up, bringing the other up with him "The bedroom awaits Shinichi"

Blushing, Shinichi allowed Kaito to lead him.

Me: So they're finally together, and Kaito's allowed to be physically attracted to him now XD he was mentally attracted, now hes both mentally and physically attracted to him~

I gots myself a new clock >~< having  a clock that was an hour off was really messing with me

It's nice and sleek... It bugs me because it looked different from my old clock •3•

I had forgotten that my 10 year old clock had been a radio clock too...

When the heat breaks, forcing me to use mini heater for my rats, I'll use the radio function and put it on static for white noise. If only I did that last year...

QAQ heater isn't as loud as my fan, my fan gives good white noise. Can't use both at the same time, not enough plugs.

The time is white during the day, bluish at night >~< it also has nightlight mode that I'll probably never use, a usb port and saves time if there's an outage.

I approve of it so far, especially the function that lets me brighten or dim the display, just like my old clock
