Kaito grimaced, it had been quite cool in the morning, but now it was way too hot. He could always just get up and change into some shorts and a T-shirt, but he didn't want to. Actually it was more like he couldn't. The magician had curled up in his bed with a heavy blanket, which had then been covered by a dozen white feathery bodies, all of which were sound asleep. Kaito hadn't had the heart to wake them up before, so now he was stuck sweating under the blanket.

He felt gross, but not enough to move his doves. Wasn't there like an unwritten law or something that one shouldn't get up if they had an animal sleeping on them? Or was that just with cats? Either way, he wouldn't dare get up and disturb his doves. He just, couldn't.

A few more hours had now passed with Kaito being too stubborn to move. He was actually feeling a bit light headed from all the sweating since his water bottle was just out of reach. He also needed to pee, badly. He couldn't even reach his phone to distract himself anymore since it had died on him. Indigos softened as he let his fingers gently brush Tsuki's feathers, a soft smile tugging at his lips. Why did his doves have to be so adorable? At least he'd managed to kick his socks off to let his feet breathe.

"Bakaito!"

Unable to hold back a reflexive jerk, Kaito flinched, startling all of his doves into flight moments before his bedroom door came crashing open "You scared my doves!" The magician cried, watching the last of the doves fly out the window.

"Why haven't you been answering Aoko's texts?!" Aoko demanded, hands placed firmly on her hips as she blocked the doorway.

"My phone died and my doves were on my lap!" Kaito yelled back, hopping off his bed "Move, I need to piss" He started to run, but immediately slipped on the sweat on his feet, face planting onto the floor. He ignored his friend's laughing as he scrambled to his feet and pushed past her.

Kid smiled, grin hidden within the darkness of his selected hiding place. The heist was going to begin soon, and he had a feeling that it would be a piece of cake this time. The tiny detective was sick, and the blond one was still in London so all he had to deal with was the Kaitou Kid task force. He'd grown spoiled from having to deal with his smart detectives so he'd made way too many backup plans. There was no way that the inspector was going to catch him tonight.

A few simple smoke bombs, some flash bangs, and throwing his voice around were enough to easily snatch his target, a pretty little ruby. Not big enough for the Crows, but nice enough for a fun heist. It was nice to practice, getting rusty would be way too dangerous in his opinion. He needed to stay in tiptop shape if he was ever going to defeat the Crows.

So now, all he had to do was run away with his prize, keep it for a few hours, then return it, easy peasy. He allowed the task force to chase him for around five minutes before making a break for his designated escape route. The task force needed to stay in shape too after all. With his escape route in sight, Kid snickered, getting himself ready to pull out his glider.

Then the floor shifted. The thief froze, body automatically stilling before pinwheeling his arms for balance as the floor unexpectedly slid beneath his feet. Why did the floorboard shift?! Since the sound of footsteps behind him had stopped, he risked a backwards glance as he put his foot down to see the task force staring at him in confusion.

Okay, he can work with this "Well gentlemen" He spun around to face them,  giving them a bow as he tilted his top hat down a bit with his left hand "It seems as if this museum is in need of some repairs" Someone less coordinated than him could have fallen and gotten hurt! The floor wasn't supposed to move with you, it was supposed to stay put! Maybe he should do some more damage to force the owner to do some proper repairs. Kid offered his signature grin, waving his free hand before hopping backwards out the window "Bye bye my loyal followers!"

Ginzo blinked, letting loose a strand of curses as he realized that he'd just let the thief escape "You!" He jabbed a finger at the owner "That's a safety hazard! Get it fixed!" He'd take out his frustrations this way "What if one of the task force members slipped instead of Kid?!"

"Kuroba-kun" Saguru's eyes narrowed at the magician "You should really stop antagonizing Nakamori-san" The blond sighed as he watched the two hop around the sidewalk, both of his classmates were in a snowball war of sorts. Kaito had started it of course, he always did.

"But messing with Ahoko is so much fun!" Kaito snickered as he did a fancy flip to dodge some snow, gracefully landing with ease.

"Oh?" Aoko's gaze narrowed, calculating "Well then how's this!" She aimed at him from the right.

"You misse-ack!" The magician had dodged to the left, feet landing on a patch of ice. Kaito yelped as he felt his footing slip. The ground was hard.

"I guess you're an idiot Bakaito" Aoko huffed, smirking at the sight of her childhood friend sprawled out on the ground. She was pleased that Kaito had actually fallen into her trap.

The blond sighed, knowing that the magician was a klutz when it came to ice "I told you so" Saguru sighed, shaking his head in exasperation.

Kaito pouted, sitting up before rubbing his jaw. Ow, his mouth had snapped shut too hard, he was glad that he hadn't bitten his tongue "Whatever Hakubastard, nobody asked you"

Saguru rolled his eyes "I guess that you don't want Baaya's hot cocoa"

Indigos flashed "Wait, I do!" He scooted a bit until he was away from the ice before standing up. That was the only reason why he was with these guys!

It looks like bunny poop, and the mascot is a bunny. Bunnys also eat their special morning poop, hence the box pic since it's a breakfast food
