"Dekhiye patient abhi khatre se bahar hain" The doctor said as everyone sighed in relief.

"Mrs. Vasudev aap aaye mere saath please aap se baat karni hain" The doc added as Mahi followed him the cabin.

"Please take a seat" He said as Mahi nodded and settled down opposite to him.

"Dekhiye aapke husband filhaal thik hai lekin unki condition kaafi delicate hai. Actually he is suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Unke brain mein koi purani chot hai jispe dubaraa hit kiya gaya hai jiski wajh unki brain nerves mein clotting ho gayi hai" He said as Mahi literally felt the breathe getting knocked out of her.

"Doctor ab kya?" She asked controlling her tears as her voice trembled.

"Dekhiye pehle hame unka MRI karna padega taki ye pata chale ki clots bade hain ya nahi. Agar chhote hain to blood thinner se kaam hojayega lekin agar bade hain to.....we have to perform a surgery" He said as Mahi nodded and left the cabin.

She didn't tell anything to the team sent them back to the mansion to resume the work on the case. After everyone left Mahi entered Krish room and sat beside her sleeping love.

She held his hand and watched the rythemic rise and fall of his chest. The tears finally slipped from her eyes as the doctor's word came back to her.

Why is it has to be them? Why does all the problems have to come in their way? Why does they have to go through all this? The questions kept running in her mind as tears flowed down her cheeks.

She wipped them off quickly as Krish moved in his head in her direction. He grip tightened on his hand as his eyelids lifted up making those enchanting orbs visible again.

"Mahi...ye...kya" He said trying to get up by himself. Mahi helped him settle down and smiled at him.

"Kya baat hai jaan kya chhupa rahi ho?" He asked keeping his hand on hers as he read her like a book. She just sighed....he knows her too well.

Mahi explained what the doctor told her as her tears started flowing again. He wipped them off as she leaned in the loving and warm touch of his soft hands.

"Ab dekho jaan sabko kabhi na kabhi to marna hi hota hai mujhe bhi jaana to hoga hi. Haan khushi mujhe is baat ki hai ki kamse kam tum ho mere saath ab to agar abhi isi samay marn...." He can't complete sentence as Mahi kept her hand on his lips.

"Esa kuchh nahi hai doctor ne bhi kha hai ki tum thik ho jaaoge isliye bakwaas mat karo zyaada yahan beth ke" She said as he smiled at his angry kitten.

"Achha baba kuchh nahi kahunga khush?" He said holding his ears cutely. As she smiled melting at his antics.

He shifted and patted the space beside him as Mahi nodded and sat beside him and he wrapped his hand around her shoulders pulling his world in his arms.

With The Team

Everyone was working hard to find anything about Prajakta even if it was only her picture. Aryan has started loosing his cool now...on one hand be has a brother who is fighting life and death on another he is busy with the people destroying the country from inside.

"Mujhe ek e-mail aaya hai....Mahi se related. I think we should check it out" Megha said as Aryan nodded and she conacted her laptop to the projector.

The team just stood frozen in place as Ruhi plugged out the laptop from the projector. Mahi seemed like a robot following its programming.

The groans and pain of all the people didn't make her even flinch. Her focus was just to get the task done no matter how many lives she takes or how much injuries she causes in the process.

"Aap hain kon?" Zara asked as Ruhi looked at Aryan who nodded.

"Hum hain......"
