A month was passed, no calls, no messages, no meetups. They saw each other like strangers, they looked away like strangers, they passed ways like strangers.

"Do you think you tried enough?" Viyaan asked her.

"I did. I told you I went to meet him last month, he finished everything." Naira replied.

"You think its enough? You didn't bother to try more?"

"What do you want me to do? To beg him to come back? Its clear he doesn't want it."

"When you needed space, you remember how he tried? How he waited for you? You pushed him away so many times but still he was standing there for you, and if for once he cut you off, you thought he didn't want this and you just didn't try is this fair?" He tried to make her understand.

"I don't know, Viyaan. I'm confused."

"If you ask me, then I would suggest you to try once more. Don't give up too soon. And I know you've the regret of not trying enough. Its upto you its your choice if you want to live with the regret or to give it a closure." And he was right.

She found him sitting on the bench, taking deep breathes she sat besides him.

"I know, you don't want to see me. And I don't care, I just need to take this off my chest." He sat still, listening to her.

"You said, I was the wrong person. How come I be the wrong person? If you had done the same thing, would you be having the heart to tell me all this? Won't you try to sort it out first and then tell me? Leaving that thing, you finished everything, you said we are done, just like this, so simply? You said to me that day if you don't want to try, you just run to conclusions, that's what you did, you didn't want to try so you just ran to conclusion and finished everything, right? You can't say now that you tried, no you didn't try, if you wanted to try you wouldn't have end things like that. You said that we shouldn't leave each other in weak times, if we're together in strong times, we need to be together in weak times too. But what you did, a hard time came and you finished everything."

"You said you can't trust me, now I say that I would never trust you, even if you would want to come back I would never trust you, there's no way of me knowing that in future you won't leave my hand in hard times." She said, he sighed running his hand through his hairs.

"You're claiming now that I didn't try enough. Let me tell you I was the only person who was trying in this relation. I asked you to leave and you just left, you knew I wasn't okay that day but still you didn't bother to check on me after that day, and then suddenly after a week you came and asked if its the end, am I a fool to you? And now you're claiming here that I didn't try, wow." He said with a bitter tone.

"Just don't blame me, please. No blames, I can't take anymore blames. Why is it my fault everytime? Why everyone just blame me, they blamed me, you blamed me, what the fuck do you think I am?" She didn't plan on breaking, but his words, his tone, his blames broke her.

"What do you want me to do? I need understanding too. Its not my duty to always understand you."

"You're so insensitive, Kartik. Fuck you."

"Okay, lets go I'll f-

"What the fuck are you saying? Shut up."

"What? We haven't f-

"Kartik." He flinched at her loud voice.

"Are we really talking nonsense here? I'm here discussing something important with you and you?" She yelled.

"What did I say? You said to fuck me."

"Kartik are you mad?" She again yelled.

"What do you want, Naira? Tell me what you want? You came here and said that I didn't try, what do you want? You want me to bear the regret?" He yelled back.

"I don't want you to regret, why are you loading things on me?"

"I'm loading things on you, or you're doing it? I'm not blaming, you're blaming."

"You know what, hell with you. I was stupid to come here and talk with you." She said and looked away.

"Yeah, I'm useless. Don't waste your time and go to Viyaan, afterall he's the one you always run to." He chuckled bitterly.

"Kartik, that time, I needed support, I didn't have anyone with me. You could go partying, drinking to distract your mind, but I couldn't do that. I needed someone to talk to me. He's my friend ofcourse I would run to him when you won't be there." He sighed taking his head in his hands.

"I was just hurt that after giving my everything to you, I still wasn't enough for you to trust me. I never had problem with your and Viyaan's friendship. But when he became the one to console you, it did bother me." He said still holding his head in his hands, "And when I said that I love you, I meant it."

"I'm sorry, what can I do? I can't change it , right? I know I shouldn't have hid it from you, but I can't do anything about it." She said, there was silence for a while.

"Now what? What do you want?" She asked.

"I don't know." He murmured looking down.

"Can't you just stay?" He again spoke up, looking at her.

"Do you want me to?" She looked back at him.

"Just fucking stay." He said, she smiled with tears in her eyes.

"I never wanted to leave. You're the one who told me to leave." She murmured.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, and wrapped his arms around her.

"I love you." She said.

"To the moon and back." He replied.

She listened to his heartbeats, they were fast and uneven.

"Oh heart, calm down." She whispered.

Okay rant time, you guys want me to extend this story, but let me clear my point, I don't have any story plot even if I think of one, this story would become too dramatic and I always try to keep my stories close to reality, these are the issues we face in real life and I try to portray them naturally. That's why I said just by chance is not one of my best works because that story has so much drama and I can't believe I wrote it lol. So I'm really sorry for not extending this story, your comments really make me happy and I don't want you guys to lose your interest in this story by anyway.
