She stared at his back, he didn't turn and left the place. She looked around, unfamiliar faces were all she could see. As he left, the warmth, the assurance, was gone.

She excused herself from the crowd and went outside. She saw Kartik going towards his car, hands in his jacket.

"Are you mad at me?" She yelled, they were standing at a good distance.

He turned back and looked at her, "I can never get mad at you."

"And I can never like a guy like you."

"Yeah, I get it." He said, with change of expressions.

"You're egoistic, self centered and a jerk." She sighed and threw her hands in air, "But I still like you."

His lips twitched in a smile.

"I can't hear you." He yelled mischievously.

"I said, I like you." She laughed out, as she said.

They stared at each other, she took slow steps that turned into fast, and she was right there in his arms. All her insecurities, doubts, flew away as he held her in his arms.

His chest vibrating as he laughed, wrapping his arms around her. It was a moment of bliss.

"You took so long to say this." He said as he detached himself from her.

"Atleast I said."

He looked at her, she was already looking at him.

"Don't worry, I won't break you." He said and she nodded.

"I really like you so much. Lets fall in love." He said and she giggled slapping his arm.

"Don't go so far." She said and he again hugged her, keeping her close.

They were enjoying their well found moment, when a pair of eyes were watching them.

Liha's hands fisted as she saw both of them laughing in each other's arms.
