After a few days....

Kaira became more comfortable with each other......

They were now friends...... I won't say best friends coz voh banane main time lagta Hai...... But they have come close.....

They (Kaira, naksh, Rohan, gayu etc) were seated in class when keerti came running......

Keerti (being out of breath) - guys guys guys...!!!

Naksh - kya ho gaya... Tujhe?

Keerti - are tum logo ne Suna Nahi kya annual day aa raha Hai 2 months baad..... Dance, drama, kisi main bhi part le sakte Hai ham afterall last year Hai school ka......

Kartik - wowww...!!! I am sooo excited....!! Naira tum kisme part logi? Dance yaan drama??? Yaan kisi Aur main....

Naira - kisi main Nahi Kartik Mera Mann Nahi Hai bilkul bhi.....

Kartik - what..? Plzz naira.... Dance main part lelo na main bhi dance main he part loonga I love dancing and iss baar ke theme ke hisaab se ballroom dance Hoga.....

Naira - Nahi Kartik plzz main bilkul acha dance Nahi Karti Aur Mera Mann bhi Nahi Hai..... Main tum logon ki help Kar lungi arrangements etc main par yeh Nahi plzz...

Saying this she went from the classroom.......

Kartik - yaar ab main kiska partner banunga...... Keerti toh anchoring main jaa Rahi Hai and gayu tu drama main......

Natasha (from behind) - Kartik babyyy....!!! Main banungi na tumhari partner..... Kitaaa mazaaa aayegaa naa...!!!!!

Kartik (facepalm) - ohh no 🤦🏻....

Naira's pov -

Dance.... Mera passion Hai, meri life Hai.......i mean thi...... Kuch mahino main he Kitna kuch badal gaya... (tear escapes her eyes) kyun chod ke Gaye mujhe papa.... Kyunn...mujhe aapki bahut yaad aati hai.....Main kabhi. vaapas Purani vaali naira Nahi ban paungi ...... Kyunki mere sabse bade support system he chale Gaye...... (caressing naitik's picture) I miss you papa.....

After attending few classes......

Kartik - chale sab? Selections Hai abhi.....

Everyone except naira - Haan let's goo...!!

Kartik then looks at naira and sees her not coming along and goes towards her.....

Kartik - naira tum Nahi chalogi?....

Naira - main part he Nahi le Rahi toh kya zaroorat Hai Kartik....

Kartik - aree toh kamse Kam hamare paas khadi toh reh sakti ho na.... Yahan akele kya karogi.... Chalo let's go....

He holds her hand and takes her to the dance room where all the auditions were happening.....

Everyone gave audition and according to their performances they were allotted the role......

Now Kartik dances and he dances well (not balldance)

Selector - Kartik you dance well.... But as you know ki balldance main dance Hai and it's a very slow dance toh kya tum Kar paaoge??? I am placing you in the center....

Kartik (very happy) - yes sir main apna best doonga...... But meri partner Kaun hogi sir?

Natasha - sir main ban jaun plzzz.... I dance well plzz sir....

Dance sir - Natasha I am not sure if you will be able to do it..... Coz I have never seen you dancing.....

Natasha - sir plzz sir aap practice ke waqt dekh lijiyega but plzz...... Give me this chance.....

The dance sir selects her but is not happy coz he isn't sure about her dancing and moreover he didn't have anyone else to give this position......

Kartik is very happy coz he got selected for the center position but is sad that chudail is his partner 😂 still he happily goes towards naira... And holds her hand in excitement.....

Kartik (holding her hands) - naira did you see....!!!! I got selected for the center position...!!! I am soo happy.....

He was about to hug her like he had opened his arms and came a little more close to her but then stopped realizing and ruffled his hair being embarrassed and looked here and there having redness on his cheek...... Even naira's cheek got heated up realizing that he was about to hug her.....

There was awkward silence between them..... Then naira broke the silence.....

Naira - umm... Toh... Party... Kahan.... De... Rahe ho.... Iss.... Khushi... Main..?

Kartik smiled seeing her attempt....

Kartik (smiling) - Ghar jaate waqt ice - cream khaate khaate chalen??....

Naira nodded her head smiling.....

After school they went to the ice-cream trolley.....

The Person - aap dono kya lenge??

Kaira together - choco-bar...!!

They then look at each other and smile......

Person - sorry par voh toh bas ek he bachi Hai...

He hands over to them....

Kaira again together - tum lelo....

Naira - Nahi its OK tum lelo....

Kartik - are naira aise kaise.... It's OK tum lelo....

They keep saying that for a while and then both hold the ice-cream together saying 'chalo itna keh rahi/Rahe ho toh'  they then start laughing.....

Kartik - toh....

Naira - ummm...toh....

Kartik - share Kar le?

Naira - OK...!!

They ate the ice-cream sharing it and had fun...!!

The next day.....

Naira was passing through the dance room and saw no one was there so she entered inside and smiled a little seeing it..... She then saw the music player over there and looked if anyone is looking.... She then played the music in low volume and removed her school jacket......

She then took a deep breath and then started dancing with the music...... It was a mix of classical and western.....

Kartik too was passing through the room in search of naira and heard faint sound of music coming from the dance room he then peeped in a little and got surprised seeing naira dancing so beautifully.....

And naira was soo lost dancing that she didn't notice him........ Kartik smiled seeing her dance with a beautiful smile on her face..... He was lost seeing her dance.... He was completely mesmerized..... Her every move... Her open hair flowing with the flow of music......

He didn't realize when he entered the room....though he was still near the entrance door..... He folded his arms and was adoring her dance....

Then the song ended and so did her dance..... She still had the smile on her face.....when she ended her dance..... But Kartik was still lost in her..... Then her eyes moved towards Kartik...... She was shocked.... She didn't know that he was watching her...... She immediately got very conscious.... She picked up her jacket and was about to go out when Kartik held her hand from back she closed her eyes feeling his touch..... He then spoke....

Kartik (softly) - tum bahut acha dance Karti hi naira.....

Naira with her free hand tucked her hair behind her ear feeling nervous and not knowing what to do......

Naira (stammering) - tha.. a..nks...

Before he could ask her to take part in Annual day she spoke.....

Naira - Kartik plzz kisi ko mat batana ki maine dance kiya.... Main dance Nahi karna chahti Kartik annual day main..... I don't want to take part.....

Saying this she rushed out of there leaving Kartik confused.....
