Next morning Naira bunked Uni and went to her doctors appointment. Her reports came and according to them what Karthik had told her had been true. Tears streamed down her eyes as the little ray of hope she had vanished. 

As Naira left the doctors cabin, broken and dejected. Karthik who was standing in the corner, looked on, remembering how he had asked his men to keep an eyes on Naira, they informed him about the doctor's visit and he bribed and requested the doctor to lie.

"Thank you so much doctor", said Karthik entering into the cabin

"Mujhe ab bhi samajh nahi araha hai app ne aisa kyun kiya Mr.Goenka", questioned the doctor

"Please, it is a bit personal, just make sure never to mention about it to anyone at all, otherwise things won't be good for you", Karthik added the last part a bit more sternly.

Naira came home, ran and hugged her father tight.

"What happened princess", asked Naitik panicked as he saw tears in his little girls eyes.

"Nothing papa, I was just having a headache and there was so much work at Uni today.", Naira lied.

She ran upstairs, locked the room of the door and started crying uncontrollably.

An hour later, taking a deep breath in and sighing, she wiped away her tears.

She picked up the phone and dialled the number Karthik had given her. He picked it up within a single ring, as of he had been staring at the phone waiting for her call.

"Mein tumse shaadi ke liye ready hun", Naira said blatantly
"You still have 24 more minutes", Karthik reminded
"I have taken my decision", Naira was firm
"Meet in the backyard of your house in an hour", Karthik ordered.

They disconnected the call.

"I promise Karthik Goenka I will make your life a living hell once am married to you. You will regret the moment you laid your eyes on me, the moment you felt for me", Naira promised herself her eyes filled with pain, hate and anger.

Karthik face broke into a smile as the call was disconnected.

"She said yes, thank you Krishnaji, thank you so much. Now I can take her out from that hell she is living in and protect her from the dangers that our surrounding her", Karthik spoke happily, while joining his hands and looking at the heavens above.

He phoned SuvarNish

"Maa Papa", he started in an excited voice.

"Naira ne shaadi ke liye haan kaha", the both completed for him.

"Aap dono ko kaise pata", he asked confused

"Teri awaz ki khushi se", Suvarna answered

"Haan maa aaj mein bahut kush hoon", Karthik said content.

"Okay bye, mujhe tayariyan karni hai", Karthik said and disconnected the line.

When Karthik arrived at Singhania Sadan he noticed that Naira was already waiting down, he motioned her to get into the car.

She gave him an angry look and shut the door with a thud after she sat in.

"Tumhara ghussa mujhe bardasht hai Naira. Lekin yeh jo dard mujhe tumhari ankhon mein dikhayi de raha hai, woh dard jiss ki wajhe mein hoon, woh dard mujhe bardasht nahi, ghussa, nafrat, jo karna hai kar lo.", he spoke to himself

"Mujhe ghurrne ke liye buliya hai", Naira asked annoyed, snapping Karthik out of his thoughts, he nodded negatively and started driving, occasionally stealing glances at her.

The car came to a halt. Karthik got down of the car and bought Naira out as well, half dragging half making her walk to the place where they had to be. Moments later Naira found her herself standing inside a temple.

"Hum yaha kya kar rahe hai", she asked

"Shaadi, tum hi ne toh haan kaha tha", Karthik answered as if she asked a really stupid question that has a well known answer.

"No, mein ne shaadi ke liye haan ki but abhi nahi. Papa, dadaji, dadi, ke bina mein shaadi nahi karungi", she said

"Sweet heart I told your first when you said yes that you have more time think about your decision but you were firm, now the time I have given you is over, so either you take this dress and get ready or walk out from here and I will do my work of uploading that video", Karthik said with smirk.

A silent tear rolled down her cheeks as she took the packet he was handing her. Her tear making him loose his smile but he managed to plaster it back on before she noticed.

Naira looked at the lehenga Karthik had given her, it felt familiar but she wasn't exactly remembering where she had seen it. She tried to remind herself but couldn't.

Naira came out after changing to the lehenga and jewellery Karthik had given her. She was looking extremely gorgeous. Karthik looked at her trying hard to hide his smile someone's words ringing at the back of his head.

"Naira humesha zidd karti thi, woh waisa hi lehenga pehnegi uski shaadi ke din, woh waise hi sajegi",  a voice echoed in his head.

Soon the pandit started the rituals. Naira's every promise to break Karthik and get back on him for what he had done to her and Karthik's every promise to be Naira's protector, save her from the dangers and make her smile.

The rituals completed at the end Naira filling with more fire towards Karthik and Karthik's heart having a satisfaction.

"Go in and get whatever you want.", Karthik spoke as the car stopped in front of Singhania Sadan. Naira didn't move.

"Don't you want anything from your house", he questioned

"No", she answered bluntly not facing him.

"No, I can't go inside, I can't face papa, dadaji aur dadi. Papa has given me so much love. After mumma's death when I was 10, papa never let me miss her, he helped me with my school work, projects, got me ready for school just like Mumma used to even though he had his office work. Today I got married to someone, without telling him a word. Forget about seeking permission I didn't even inform him. I know I did this for papa, dadaji and dadi only, I didn't want that that video to get viral and them to face any problems or any bad words, otherwise which girl will agree to get married to her molester.", thought Naira.

"I know tum andar kyun nahi janna chati. I also know that there are many things you want from inside", Karthik spoke to himself as he drove away from Singhania Sadan.
