Karthik got up yawning, he smiled seeing his wife sleeping next to him, clutching him tightly as if he was her favorite teddy bear. She then pushed her face between his neck and shoulder in an attempt to hide from the Sunlight, and made her grip on him even more tighter, making his smile even more brighter.

"Everyone must be coming home soon", Karthik thought to himself, very carefully he unwrapped Naira's hand away from his waist, he saw her frown in her sleep as he soon as he was out of her hold. He hated seeing that sadness he placed a soft kiss on her cheeks, making her lips curve the other way and moved out of the bed, then closed the curtains, so that the Sun would not disturb her anymore.

Karthik freshend up and came out of the washroom after a while, only to see Naira on the bed, stretching her hands and opening her eyes. He went and sat next to her.

"Naira please mat utho, thodi aur der so jao. Raat ko bahut late soyi thi, aram kar lo", he said caressing her hair and making her lay back on the bed.

"Lekin mera mann nahi kar raha hai. I am not sleepy", she said cutely

"Ek baar khud ko dekho, how tired you are looking. Rest for a while bacha", Karthik said with love, kissing her temple.

"Tum bhi yaha raho", she said snuggling up to him.

"Main yehi hoon", he said wrapping his arms around her and lightly patted her back making her fall asleep, when he thought she was in deep slumber he exited the room and prepared a quick breakfast for everyone, as chitti uncle was on a holiday and   the rest of the family would be tired from attending the wedding and the long journey.

Karthik looked at Akshara and Naitik while everyone, except Naira who was still sleeping, were gathered around the dinning table for breakfast. He had had been extremely upset a week back when he had heard Naitik accusing Akshara of Naira's departure, after that he had noticed a distance between the two for a couple of days and he felt bad, but know everything was sorted he didn't exactly know how but the distance seemed to have disappeared and they were back to being that same loving caring couple.

Time flew by, everyone, especially Karthik and Naitik tried to convince Naira, though they never made a direct attempt, they kept on indirectly telling her that she has a misunderstanding. Karthik was a bit relieved as he felt like now Naira had a good bonding with everyone (excluding Akshara), so she wouldn't have a problem in staying at Udaipur. However he wasn't sure about it, as the hasn't yet bought up the topic, he was scared that she would talk about going back to Rishikesh, if he started the topic.

It was Naira's Godhbharai today and Karthik had got two very special gifts for her. Rather than surprise for her it was a gift for himself, because they were something that he felt would hold Naira back in Udaipur.

Karthik smiled at his beautiful wife through the mirror, after she had just finished getting ready. She looked gorgeous in the red Anarkali.

"Someone is looking gorgeous", Karthik complimented as their eyes locked through the mirror, making his love's cheeks go pink.

"Why not my outfit is selected by such a special person", she smiled

"Is it, aur kaun hai woh", he asked knowing the reply very well.

"Hai ek jo bilkul bacha hai, khud do bachon ka baap banne wala hai aur khud bachon ki tarhe zid karata hai", she said trying to suppress her giggle, remembering all his tantrums and drama.

Flashback 1

"Karthik yeh kasi zid lagga ke rakhi hai tum ne.", asked Suvarna.

"Maa app sab jo kapde aur gehne le kar aye hai woh bahut heavy hai.", Karthik complained.

"Nahi beta zyada heavy nahi hai yeh sab", Akshara told him.

"Mumma aap ko toh pata hai ke Naira ko waise hi taiyar hona, aur yeh sab khass acha nahi lagta, usse heavy embroidery pasand hai hi nahi. Phele se hi woh itni tired aur drained dikhti hai purre din, humare dono shaitan itna pareshan jo karte hai. Uss sab ke upar yeh sarra weight woh handel nahi kar payegi. Aap jante hai mein aap ko kabhi manna nahi kar sakta but please iss baar meri baath m aniye, please", Karthik said all this in one breathe and then made a cute puppy face making everyone agree.

"Bff am so excited for di's godh bharai function, mein phele baar aisa function attend karungi, aap toh attend nahi kar payenge kyunke all girls function hai", said Mishti.

"What do you mean by all girls function, babies akele Naira ke nahi mere bhi hai", Karthik complained.

"Kya hua tumhara chera itna phula hua kyun hai", asked Naira entering the room.

"Dekho ne Mishti keh rahi hai godh bharai mein sirf ladkiyan asakti hai, this is so not fair. Mujhe bhi dekhna hai", he said like a child.

"Karthik tumhe kyun shauk hai godh bharai dekhne ki, kuch khass nahi  hota", Naira said

"I don't care kya hota hai, mujhe tumhare saath waqt guzarna hai.", he said

"Mein Mumma se puchunga", she spoke like a kid and walked out searching for Akshara.

"Mumma", called out Karthik knocking the door.

"Kya hua beta aisi shakal kyun banna ke rakhi hai", asked Akshara seeing his fallen face.

"Aap ko pata hai ke Godhbharai mein ladke allowed nahi hai,", he asked innocently

"Haan pata hai, humesha aisa hi hota hai", answered Akshara.

"Yeh kya baath huyi, jab humare bache bade honge aur photos dekhenge function ki aur yeh puchenge ke unke papa ne inn ka sab se phela function attend kyun nahi kiya, kya jawab denge hum", he asked dramatically

"Woh dono toh yehi sochenge ke papa pyaar hi nahi karte",  Karthik continued.

"Tum kal ke function mein anna chate ho yehi ne", asked Akshara and Karthik nodded his head positively with a shy smile.

"Toh siddhe siddhe puchte itna drama kiss liye", said Akshara.

"Aap maan jati agar sidhe se puchte", asked Karthik

"Tum se yeh kiss ne kaha ke mein ab maan chuki khoon", Akshara said sternly and Karthik made a sad face.

"Mein kabhi apne ladle bete ko manna kar sakti hun, tum asakte ho", Akshara said

Naira finally burst out laughing seeing him pout. She wondered how someone who was so mature at times could be so childish as well and she loved that about him.

"Hasna bandh karo warna mein tumhe surprise nahi dunga",  Karthik told her

"Nahi, pichle do din se mein surprise ka wait kar rahi hoon, please aisa mat karo", she whined like a kid.

"Now tell me who is acting like a baby", he smirked

Godhbharai function

"Bolo ne kya surprise hai", Naira asked as both of them were seated together for the function.

"Khud dekh lo, tumhara phela surprise chal kar araha hai", Karthik said looking at the door.

Naira saw Pungi walking in with Negi uncle

"Aap dono yaha", Naira said happily and hugged them.

"Mujhe yaha aye kitne mahine guzar gaye aur aap ab arahe hai, aap ko lambe waqt tak rukna hoga", said Naira

"Mein kuch dino mein chala jayega, Lekin Pungi Ab se issi sher mein rahegi", replied Negi uncle

"Sacch", Naira said happily

Pungi inacted something making Naira smile more

"Sachi tujhe yahan naukri mil gayi", said Naira

"Haan Pungi ko ek bahut prestigious college mein art teacher ki job millions hai", said Karthik.

"Tumhari wajhe se", Pungi said through actions.

"Meri wajhe se nahi tumhare talent ki wajhe se, main ne toh sirf vacancy ke barien mein batiya", Karthik replied.

"Pehla surprise kaisa tha", whispered Karthik

"Bahut hi zyada acha", replied Naira happily.

"Tumhe tumhare dusre surprise ke barien mein nahi janna", asked Karthik after sometime.

"Tumhara gift tumhare side mein jo cushion hai uske peche hai", said Karthik, Naira removed the pillow and saw a file, she opened and read it.

"Saach mein", she screamed happily reading its content

"Haan, tumhari dance academy ki dusri branch, waise bhi pichle saath mahino se Kiran ache se Rishikesh wali dance academy ko sambhal raha hai. Now since papa, your siblings and family, Maa, dad all are here, I thought that we should open a new branch in Udaipur.", informed Karthik
