Here is a very small update.

Karthik had woken up early. He went down to find Akshara, only awake. He greeted her with a good morning, but didn't get any reply.

"Is there something bothering you.", he asked as it was unlikely for MIL to not respond for his morning greetings

"Haan problem hai. Aur woh sirf tum solve kar sakte ho. Magar mujhe nahi lagta tum karna chate ho. Tum dena hi nahi chate jo tumhare pass hai.", taunted Akshara

"Muma aap ko kya chaiye mujhse", asked Karthik.

"meri beti chaiye. Jiss ko tum ne mujh se cheen liya", replied Akshara

"Mumma aap janti hai mein aisa nahi karunga. Main toh apki aur Naira ki beech ki duriyon ko kam karne ki koshish kar raha hun", Karthik said

"Agar tum kuch kar rahe hote uska asar dikhta. 3 months se zyada hogaye Naira ko aye huye. Lekin meri aur uski duriyan kam nahi huyi. Tum jhut bolte ho Karthik. Tum chate hi nahi yeh duriyan mit jaye. Meri beti ko mujh se dur kar hi diya. Ab mere aur Naitik ke beech mein faisle la rahe ho.", she screamed at him.

"Nahi, trust me mein ne aisa kuch bhi......", Karthik spoke in tears.

"Sab tumhari galti hai. Tum Naira ki zindagi mein aye aur humari jagha le li uss ke dil mein. Tum ne Naira ko hum se judda kiya. Aur Naitik mujhe doshi mante hai, jab kasur tumhara hai", Akshara accussed.

"I don't know how to assure you that I want Naira to be with you all. That I want her to realize that she has a misunderstanding and you all love her. Kaise yakeen dilaun aap ko mumma.", asked Karthik in a begging tone

"Dur ho jaye. Abhi ke abhi chale jao. Just leave. Iss se phele ko bhi uthe aur tumhe rok le. Amna saman lo and leave.", ordered Akshara

Karthik went up to his room to gather his things. He made sure that he didn't make any noise so that Naira would awake. He was about to step out of the door.

"Kaha ja rahe ho", he turned back to see Naira sitting on the bed.

"Where are you going. Are you leaving me and going", she questioned walking towards him.

"Woh kahi nahi, bas office ke kaam ke liye. Kuch dinno ke liye", he stammered as he answered her

"If you are going for just few days. Why did you pack all your things to take with you.", she questioned

"Woh actually flight kuch der baad ki hi hai. Tumhe pata hai mujhe kapde select karne mein kitna time lagta hai. Toh mein ne socha time waste na karun aur sarra saman le lun", he lied.

"Jhut bol rahe ho. Dur ho rahe ho mujh se. Akele ja rahe ho mujhe aur babies ko chod kar. Unn sab ke liye kar rahe ho yeh. Mrs Singhania ke liye kar rahe ho yeh.", she said

"Mere barien mein nahi socha. Tumhare liye sirf tumhari mumma important hai aur mera kya. Mein kaise rahungi tumse durr rahe kar. Have you thought about are kids", she screamed and cried banging her tiny fists on her chest.

"Naira mein nahi ja raha bas kuch dino ke liye tum thora time sab ke saath batao. Inn sab ko samjho, main ajaunga. Please janne do.", he said

"Main ne tum se kaha tha chup chap chale jao. Lekin tum ne jan bhuj ke Naira ko uthiya. Ta ke tumhe rukkne ka bahana mile", blamed Akshara.

"Inn ke liye tum nujhe chod rahe ho. Tumhe meri bilkul marwa nahi. Sab ki tarhe inhone tum par bhi jadu kar diya", accused Naira

"You want to leave me fine. Go. But once you leave I never want to see your face again.", she screamed at him.

"Karthik, Karthik", he heard someone calling out to him and shaking him vigorously. He opened his eyes to find himself laying on the bed and his wife beside him. She bent down and placed a kiss on his forehead.

"Burra sapna dekha jaan.", she said caressing his hair.

"Nahi", he lied

"You were shivering and sweating in your sleep. That only happens when you have a nightmare. Bolo kya dekha", she asked

"Sab kuch bikharte huye dekha. Sab kuch khatam hote dikha", he replied as the nightmare still flashed infront of his eyes.
